"Gorgeous views and the room was beautiful. Our arrival had some bumps. We never got a tour so a shortcut that would have saved us roasting walk in the sun was not discovered until the last day. Disappointed that customer service was not as accommodating as we’ve had at other WA properties. Our room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did not always come at or near the requested time but was through when they came.m. The balcony was comfortable. We loved the tub. The restaurants on property are recommended. Breakfast is so so but lunch and dinner at Tico Tica were fab. La Finca tasting menu is a must do. It was delicious and we loved meeting the chef. The pools are beautiful and have a great ocean view but there are not enough umbrellas by half. And the umbrellas don’t move. It’s hunger games every day to get a chair with an umbrella and chair hogs abound. The staff do nothing to help accommodate. They could elevate this experience 200% by simply having way more um fellas and by making them moveable. There are a ton of golf carts and they are readily available to take you up and down the hill which is good as there aren’t sidewalks the whole way. We prefer to walk ourselves but it wasn’t always safe to do so in the dark with no lights or sidewalks. Staff was generally very friendly and our concierge was able to help us for our needs. I would come back with my son when he’s older to try out some of the more adventuresome activities in the area."

"One of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica. Very professional and friendly staff. They showed us everything and they drove us around with their electric cars. Beautiful place to relax and experience something different. The road on the way to hotel is pretty bad in some areas but it worth the drive."

"The B&B is clean, well-kept, and the staff is friendly, which I appreciated. The location is about a 6-minute walk to the beach, which is great. However, there is nothing else nearby. To get coffee, food, or essentials, you need to either drive 8–10 minutes to the next town or walk 35–40 minutes through hills. One disappointment was the breakfast policy. Breakfast was not offered to us because it was only included for guests who booked months in advance. I offered to pay an additional fee for breakfast, but that option was not available. I was told they needed to make sure there was enough food for other guests. While I understand planning limitations, it was surprising that basic items like coffee, tea, or water were not available to all guests. As someone who works in aviation and has traveled extensively worldwide, these are typically standard offerings. Especially at a bed and breakfast and in a country known for its coffee. Not all rooms have TVs, which was not an issue for us since we mainly returned to sleep. However, dogs barking at night made it difficult to rest, which affected the overall comfort. In summary, the stay was pleasant due to cleanliness, friendly staff, and proximity to the beach, but clearer breakfast policies, access to basic amenities would significantly improve the guest experience."

"The staff was semi-friendly. The food was horrible at almost all restaurants. Barely any pool chairs available by 11am. A friend was discriminated and harassed by under aged guests that were drinking alcohol. The resort believed young kids and forced my friend to remain in her room her entire trip till her stay was over. Total ****** and discrimination against security! My room key deactivated every single day! My phone was never near it. Restaurants closed way too early around 9pm. Woke up to a roach staring me in my face the night before leaving. I highly doubt NOT recommend this resort. The don’t believe in compensating for bad experiences at this resort. I love the country but will never be back here again. If you’re black steer clear. Lots of ****** onlookers like you’re living in the 50s. Was even flipped the bird for no reason whatsoever. Photos online are very deceptive. Not real furniture. Seem like bad wood work. Not a real couch or headboard. Best thing to eat was at the bakery."

"We stayed here for one night as a last minute booking because our flight out of Liberia was cancelled and we needed a place for a family of five to stay. I regretted it the minute we arrived. The staff were not welcoming to us. The villa was not clean (our socks were dirty after walking on the floors and there were cockroaches in the kitchen). The bathrooms were in need of major updates. Car alarms went off four separate times that night waking us all up. We left as soon as we could the next morning. I'm confused by some of the decent reviews -- just am not seeing it in the actual amenities or the staff."

"We had a lovely stay. However, we provided our Hilton honors number twice and it still was not added. Hilton honors added it for the stay but the hotel would need to add for the incidentals which they will not. The assistant manager Nicole has not been helpful and she will not provide the general manager’s contact info. Unfortunate end to a nice experience. She has tried to tell me to follow up with American Express even though they have nothing to do with what I spent on food and beverage at their resort. Would be the equivalent of a few nights stay so I would like the points I earned."

Suitree Experience Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is just as beautiful as the photos. It's very unique, with excellent facilities and amenities. The kids loved it. Highly recommended! I recommend the meal package, which is more economical than ordering à la carte at the restaurant (since this is a rustic luxury hotel, dining out is inconvenient, so I recommend eating at the hotel). The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. The meal package is a three-course meal (appetizer, main course, and dessert). Afterward, you'll receive a bill with prices (but not included with the meal package). Drinks are charged separately, and tips are added to the bill. There are five or six main courses, all well-presented and generously portioned. The service is friendly, and I especially recommend the local beer. The lookout at the top is fantastic; watching the sunset and the stars is a delight. The pool is nestled in the mountains, so there are fallen leaves. It's cleaned during the day (but don't expect it to be as clean as an indoor pool), but it's still a lovely, rustic experience. I'd planned to swim in the evening, but I wasn't expecting to see a lot of frogs swimming around. Although I didn't get to swim, it was still fun. You can call a golf car to pick you up from your room to the restaurant, which is very convenient and available on demand. The room was well-equipped, especially the telescope, which was fantastic. The hotel also offers various paid excursions around the area, which can be booked in advance. Since the purpose of staying at Wild Luxury is to relax in nature, staying at the hotel wasn't boring."

"The room was clean. The room we stayed in faced the sea. There are also houses in hills and woods, which are determined based on the room rate. Due to the strategic location, the water is very calm and there are no waves. Suitable for snorkeling and kayaking sports. There are multiple restaurants, and everyone’s favorite is the Seaside restaurant, which has very delicious seafood and steaks."

"Needed a one night stay in a pinch - flight was cancelled from Liberia. This place had a 2 BR villa for our family. It was... fine. The beds were clean and decently comfortable, which was all we needed. We did see one cockroach in the morning. We didn't check out any of the amenities, so can't speak to those. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here for an extended period, given what else is in the area. But it worked in a pinch."
