"Spa staff were great, they went out of their way to make sure all was avaible to us . Restaurant staff were also very kind and professional. Only negative point is the manager at the end who asked the shuttle driver too late. We ordered the shuttle for 11am and we didn't start until 11.10am. There are works on the road so would have needed punctual time for some errands near the station before to take the train. "

"This is really a nice place to stay for a few days in central Switzerland. Sachseln is a good transit point between interlaken and luzern, which means that you can get to those great moubtains and lakes in around half an hour by train. And the Sarnersee is also really good for sightseeing and i even swimmed in it in the sunset. The hotel is very clean, amenities are useful and practical. The architechure itself is very historical and classical. and staffs are helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel to all visitors from all over the world. You can enjoy a very classicL and tranquil swiss town life with a reasonable price."

"The hotel is clean and nice, however the location is far away from Lucerne and we can not reach the hotel with public transportation, we need to arrange a taxi/uber from station to hotel by ourselves. It will be better if the hotel can provide shuttle to the nearest train station or help customers to arrange taxi pick up from the train station because there is no taxi at the train station and it is hard to find uber because very few uber available in that area. The breakfast is great with various choices including fresh fruits."

"We spent a week at the youth hostel in Engelberg with friends and have nothing but positive things to say. The management and the entire team were simply wonderful! We wanted to go skiing, but unfortunately, the weather was so bad for four days that it wasn't possible. The very empathetic management offered us new suggestions every day for alternative activities for the children. This personal attention was absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed a superb breakfast every day with Bircher muesli, boiled eggs, delicious coffee, fresh juices, and a wide variety of breads – there was something for everyone! And every evening, the cook conjured up a new menu for us, consisting of soup, main course, salad, and dessert. The dishes were also quickly adapted to vegetarian requests. They were incredibly flexible, and compared to what you usually pay in Switzerland, the price was very fair. It was also great that lemon-cucumber water was always available (we'll definitely be introducing that at home 😄). A kettle, microwave, and guest refrigerator were also excellent additions. In the evenings, we could all sit together and play games in the dining room. It was all incredibly easy! We had a six-bed room with its own modern bathroom and we all felt very comfortable there. We slept wonderfully on the comfortable mattresses! Even on our departure day, we were able to shower after skiing. And there were many lovely surprises for us at Easter. Thank you again for everything! We had a fantastic stay and would love to come back!"
