"The hotel at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle was incredibly helpful. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very kind; we arrived after 10 PM, and he still kindly booked tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle for the next day (no extra charge). The room size was okay, simple but not flimsy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which was very convenient, and the town is very safe, so there was no need to worry about luggage. The breakfast room had a view of Neuschwanstein Castle from the window, creating a fantastic atmosphere."

It was very enjoyable to sit in the restaurant on the first floor and look out at the Neuschwanstein Castle. The waitress in the restaurant is very considerate and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is also good. Has its own parking lot."

"We were staying in Hohenschwangua close to both castles and was told that Schwangau had plenty of restaurants. All looked pretty full so we decided to park the car and walk around the main street to find a restaurant, most places need reservations or were full, one place recommended Helmer Hotel & Restaurant which was just one street off the main road. We were lucky enough they had room. Service was good and the meal was ok. I went for the croquette and schnitzel but found I could taste the oil in both. There was a self serve salad bar which was very good. The location was ideal and the restaurant was nice and cozy. I believe there was a wedding or event going on in one of their banquet rooms. "

"This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. There is a pretty good supermarket about 100 meters away. It is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle attraction, only three or four kilometers away. The location is still very good. There is no elevator, the room is relatively clean, and the bathroom is spacious enough. If I remember correctly, there should be no air conditioning, but the weather was already cold when we came here, and there was no need for air conditioning."

"Drove down from Munich for a few days here. There are a few parking spaces out the front but also more along the side of the hotel. The man who checked us in was friendly and efficient. Our room was on the 2nd floor so we had to make a few stops when carrying our cases up! The room was lovely and cosy with a little balcony looking out towards the mountains. It was at the side of the hotel so we could still hear the traffic but not too badly. There was no kettle in the room but we had read previous reviews and taken our own. Nothing bad to say about the room except the pine bed was a little creaky when I was getting out of it. Breakfast was good, just a continental one with some scrambled and boiled eggs. We ate in the Italian restaurant at the hotel one night and visited the local Asian restaurant another night - both good meals. (The Asian restaurant only takes cash payments) Would happily recommend and would stay at this hotel again."

"Great family-led house, dear and open reception, detailed explanations. We immediately felt well. Very spacious room, bathroom something small, but very ordinary and clean. Beautiful garden, beautiful balcony. You feel like mothers. A different delicious rugby with coffee or tea well-known free in the afternoon. Equally free parking at the house. Located relatively centrally, you are with car, bus, bike quickly at the desired attractions. Bicycle garage available. It is thought of everything. Here you are thankful to all involved. Also the ladies of the room making are super nice and motivated. Always happy. !!!"
