"The room was surprisingly large, and the location was superb. It was right across from the carriage drop-off point, and you could see Neuschwanstein Castle just by looking up from the hotel entrance. A short walk south led to the tranquil Lake District, where sitting by the lake was incredibly relaxing. The hotel also had dedicated free parking, which was very convenient for those with cars. There was also a convenience store downstairs where guests could buy souvenirs and receive a discount."

"I had a fantastic stay at the Ameron Hotel. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short distance from Neuschwanstein Castle and right by the beautiful Alpsee. "Nothing less than five stars- we loved everything about Das Rubezahl! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot we were charmed. Room: We were instantly checked in and taken to our beautiful first floor junior deluxe suite- which had a living room separate from the bedroom and a balcony with a panoramic view of the castles. It was BEAUTIFUL. No A/C, like others have said, but the temperature was mild enough to leave the door open for cool air. The bed was comfy, spa shower was hot and doubled as a wonderful clothes steamer when needed. The toilet room was separate from the shower and down the hall a ways for more privacy. Meals: We purchased the half board package so we had dinner and breakfast before checking out. Dinner was the best meal we’ve had since being in Europe. Four courses, all perfection. Drinks were also amazing. Breakfast was a buffet with everything you could want- options for some cooked things (sausage, pancakes, omelets etc). Everyone at the hotel was SO kind and English was spoken well hotel wide. We are already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for the marmalade upon check out!"

"I would recommend this hotel. The hotel very peaceful, I like it. At first floor also have a restaurant. But here have no elevator so please careful to request high floor if you have a big luggage 😅 The staff so kind and nice to give you advice and always take care. This hotel have a good area not faraway from train and bus station. You can get the free tickets to use public transport in the city and leave your luggage to explore the city before check-in time."

"This hotel is close to the castle Neuschwanstein. The hotel has rooms in a building behind the garden. There is quiet. We had room 32. It's very good that the windows and doors can be opened out. That's how you ventilate the room. The bathroom also has a window that can open. The room is dated but the bed is well. Wi-Fi does. On the relatively small bathroom there is a shower and a weather and a small washboard. No place for a toilet bag. The room has a water cooker on a table with 2 dining chairs. The disadvantage was that the gardens were not closed well. As a transit hotel recommended. Breakfast is good in terms of quality. The choice of breads is limited. Also little fresh fruit. The cooked egg is there and meat products and yoghurt with various types of muesli. More than you get in the house but a little limited for a hotel. In the shower the snake was not well fixed in the shower head. This caused fire wounds. Well reported. The freezer is in the corridor to put any durable items in the corridor. The tub band around 15.00 hour is also included in the price."
