"We came off-season; the hotel was empty, beautiful architecture, very clean, and quiet. Our room (the cheapest) directly overlooked the parking lot. Power outages abounded, no upgrades or other assistance was offered, and the hot water came and went, unbearably. The breakfast was simple, but the dining room was pleasant. In season, it must be very, very noisy. The hotel is far from everything; a car is essential. In short, I wouldn't come back, too bad."

"A really lovely, memorable, hotel. The 2 brothers who own the hotel could not be more attentive - keen to ensure that all of their guests enjoy their stay and have everything they need. There is no parking outside the hotel but there is free parking nearby, which you are shown to once you have unloaded your luggage. The whole hotel is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. There are artefacts relating to the history of the building which are really interesting and we had a tour of the herb garden too. There are a couple of roof terraces where you can sit and relax and there is free tea available during the day. Breakfast in the cellar is really lovely - all local produce in a fascinating part of the building. We stayed for 2 nights and thought Sciacca was nice enough, but not outstanding. We will probably remember our stay at Casa dell’Aromatario more than the town, as it was a really memorable experience."

"Ho utilizzato questa struttura per far soggiornare parte degli ospiti del mio matrimonio, in totale 64 persone hanno dormito per 4-5 notti. In generale tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti della struttura, che per la maggior parte delle persone è stata usata per dormire e approfittare del buffet a colazione. Nonostante la struttura non sia nuova le camere erano pulite e ben tenute, una parte di queste sono state ristrutturate prima dell’estate 2024. Tutte le camera sono dotate di climatizzatore e frigorifero, a richiesta è possibile avere camera più grandi dotate anche di cucina. Infine tutti hanno apprezzato la camera con vista mare! Qualche famiglia ha usufruito della spiaggia e soprattutto della piscina, entrambe i servizi sono più che soddisfacenti. Il personale si è dimostrato gentile e pronto a soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I booked several rooms for the guests who were present at my wedding, in total 64 people stayed for 4-5 nights. Everyone was satisfied with the residence, which for the majority of people was used to sleep and enjoy the breakfast buffet. Although the structure is many years old, the rooms were clean and well maintained, all rooms have AC and a fridge, some of them were renovated before summer 2024. Last but not least everyone appreciated the room with sea view! Some families have also used the beach and especially the swimming pool, both services are more than satisfactory. The staff was friendly and ready to satisfy the guests' requests."

The property itself is beautiful: right by the sea, super clean, and full of that relaxing Sicilian charm. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the amazing service, especially from Gianluca Interrante, the Hotel Manager. We had a small issue during our stay, and Gianluca went above and beyond to take care of it. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but he also surprised us with some special VIP touches that made us feel truly valued. Thanks to him and the whole team, our week turned out absolutely perfect — and honestly, Gianluca deserves a huge part of the credit for that. Can’t recommend this resort enough. We’ll definitely be back!"

We were greeted by the host who helped us navigate Sciacca's narrow, one-way streets to find the hotel. Don't hesitate to take up his offer to help direct you once you are Sciacca. Also take the host's recommendation for restaurants. Although there is no on-site parking, a public carpark is very close-by: tickets sold in the coffee shop adjacent to the carpark. Next time we'll stay longer to see more of what beautiful Sciacca has to offer."

"This hotel is located right next to the ZTL (limited traffic zone). It doesn't have its own parking, but there are several free or blue-lined parking lots nearby. Mr. Raffaele welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism. The room we booked was a superior room on the second floor (there are three floors, but the elevator goes all the way to the second). It was large, spacious, and recently renovated, with a beautiful bathroom, excellent toiletries, a small hairdryer (if you need a more powerful one, you can request one at reception), and a large minibar. We had a wonderful rest! The breakfast was simple, but also included gluten-free options. The price was fair for the quality of the stay. Highly recommended!"

"This was our first holiday as a family. We had selected Verdura due to its hospitality reputation particularly with children and it exceeded expectations. Sicilians in general were so incredibly welcoming and enamoured by our baby. The staff of Verdura went above and beyond at every step. On arrival we had a warm welcome and were brought straight to our restaurant booking that they had held for us despite being late from the airport. They treated us like special guests and were amazing with our baby daughter. Although I will do separate reviews for the restaurants the food at Osteria and Amare was outstanding and the service matched the quality of the food and drinks. Our room had a beautiful view, staff were keen to accommodate all our needs. We were provided with so many necessary items for a baby. These included a travel cot, mattress and bedding, a steriliser, a baby bath tub, wipes, nappy bin, bottle warmer, play mat, cuddly toy and baby slippers. They even gave us soap and a sponge on request to wash our bottles before sterilising. Breakfast was lovely, we were always greeted as a three with our baby enjoying the extra warm welcome from the staff. There was no question the hotel resort was stunning but it was the staff that made it the most hospitable holiday we have ever had. They were so friendly and accommodating. There were too many names to remember but Claudia set the tone with the warmest of welcomes and Filippo gave us a lovely cocktail experience to end our stay. We will never forget our first family holiday and hope to return soon."

"Great place, great people! We were warmly welcomed by Emanuela and Daniele, the owners, for our two nights get-away in Sciacca. The room allocated was a crisp white comfortable room with a double patio (great for the Sicilian summer). "Casa Dell Aromatario is modern, light-filled, beautifully decorated with plants and has all the right touches. It appears that no expense was spared in constructing the B&B from an ancient church property. The room where you take breakfast has been carved out of rock and is an architectural beauty. Although it was too chilly to take advantage of the rooftop terrace it looks perfect for late afternoon drinks or just lounging and taking in the view. But what makes this place really special are the hosts, Silvio and his brother Carmelo. They are the most accommodating and helpful hosts with restaurant recommendations and other information and will do anything to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible."

And Angela was beyond helpful! She actually escorted us to the commune to find his great grandfather’s home. She and her son Mario spent so much time with us helping us. Not only did they help us find his maternal great grandfather’s home, but also his paternal grandfather’s home in Augusta. They both went above and beyond and we are forever grateful!"
