Great location very close to the bund and on east Nanjing road so if you want to shop it’s great. I felt the service was below average for the price of 2700 ¥ a night. There was no welcome drinks you would think on a hot summer day the front desk would offer water. There was no help going to the room and guide on Wi-Fi, the room, where the swimming pool and time for breakfast. The turn down service is lackluster nothing was really changed in the room. The front desk really need training on how to treat guest at a luxury level this is not a cheap hotel and thus guest pay extra money for the hotel to pay extra for attention to detail. Breakfast service was great and the selection was great.

Location is near to the Bund and Suzhou River. No view, don’t expect too much. Windows need renovation to improve sound cancellation. I can hear cars from the road all night and constructions nearby as well. The night light in the room is acting weirdly. It kept going on and off as if the room was haunted. :/ I could not sleep at all because of the light. Will I book again? Probably not.

Great location, close to Nanjing Lu of course for all the touristy, but also behind the hotel you can get a slice of more local life in Shanghai too. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were beautiful too. It's an older hotel, so the decor is more traditional and is showing some very minor signs of age. We were very comfortable throughout and made use of the lovely indoor swimming pool too.

Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

From the very beginning, the service of this hotel was incredible. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience. All the staff in the hotel genuinely care about their role and the service they provide such as helping with my wedding proposal and organising bookings for the restaurants. You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. 100% recommend, especially for Christmas if you’re missing home.

Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location pretty close to the East Nanjing pedestrian road. It's easy and convenient for travelers to gain access to the Bund and its' neighbor within walking distance. The hotel is not far from Metro station. Only thing should be reminded is inconvenient when going to the nearest metro station; there is no elevator or going-down escalator for carrying baggage. The hotel facilities is OK and works in good condition. There is no mini refrigerator in room but it's not a serious issue. Overall experience in the hotel is great. Highly recommended for guests who would like to take a visit to Shanghai.

The room is very clean and tidy with complete facilities. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. You can see the street view from the window. It is very convenient to walk to the Bund in ten minutes. Highly recommended!

Great location, just a short walk to the metro station and Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street. We upgraded the room with a reasonable fee to check-in earlier, the room was quite spacious and the bed was comfy. We were on the 6th floor but we could still hear loud noises from the residential area next to the hotel from night till morning and it was a quite annoying. But other than the noises, the stay was nice.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

The best thing about this particular Atour Hotel is its proximity to the Bund, which is literarily a stone's throw away with a nearby Family Mart that is well-stocked with travel essentials and snacks. Nanjing Road is also within walking distance. As such, this Hotel is not the most spacious one especially if you have a bigger family, as its bedroom fits one big and one small bed just nice and its wash basin has to be in the doorway. One suggestion is to provide 3 towels instead of 2 for a family of 3. The breakfast is expectantly scrumptious with agood mix of protein and vegetables, however its coffee can be better as the current one is a bit too bland, as compared to Atour in other cities. Otherwise, the stay is ”Atourly” perfect.

Going downstairs in a straight line of about 200 meters, you will arrive at Nanjing Road… it is also very close to the Chenghuang Temple! The most worth stressing is that after checking out, I found that the ring was left in the room. The landlord arranged for the first time to clean and didn't find it. After communication, I went to help find it again. I finally found it and sent it back to the courier! So: highly recommended! The landlord and the cleaning aunt are very good! !

After reading a few bad reviews, I have been hesitant to live, but the two children said that they like the big bathtub, so they chose this place. After living in, the children were very pleasantly surprised and very happy. I didn’t expect the room to be so big. The night view outside was very beautiful, although it was not a room on the Bund. What location is not easy to find, my daughter's customer service is still the location and pictures sent by the boss, and she quickly found the place, and the attitude is very good. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. We went out to play and came back to the garbage. Put it up, That is, the sound insulation of the door is perfect, the window is very soundproof, and the door has a gap. In short, I am very satisfied, I will choose this one if I have the opportunity to go to Shanghai again.

The hotel is conveniently located and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are friendly, nice and helpful. Just 2 things that caused certain inconveniences. 1. The staff took away the bath mat and forgot to replace a new one. 2. The door could not be closed tightly in the shower room and water did leak out of the door. Overall stay is satisfactory and I will stay again.
