It was perfect in every way. I was thinking about Fairmont and Waldorf and chose Waldorf. Choosing Waldorf was really the best choice. It was hard to enter and exit Fairmont because there were so many tourists. Foreigners like me definitely recommend going to Waldorf. And make sure to upgrade to the riverside view room. You can see the best view of Waitan lying down in bed. And Steven Diep! You made our trip perfect. I will not forget your service and kindness. Thank you.

Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

The overall feeling is pretty good. After all, given the price, it turns out to be some kind of hotel in Deutsche. It must have been renovated in cooperation with Huazhu? The exterior and the interior of the lobby feel quite new, and the rooms are quite big. After all, land is very valuable in Shanghai, and it is very close to the Bund. There is a ferry station across the road, a bus station at the door, double-decker buses, and the subway. The station is not very close. You still have to walk for a while to get out of Yuyuan Station. There is a little brother at the door to help carry your luggage. The room is generally okay. The bathroom feels like it's not a young hotel. The washbasin has a smell and can be yellowed, but there are no other problems. The slippers seem to be of average quality. I feel they are not in line with the hotel's positioning. The inner layer will stick 😂 The set meal for the advance tour did not include breakfast, so I didn't go to the restaurant. The service was still very warm, and baked cookies were given as a gift when I checked in. Biscuit, although the floor is high, the elevator is also very fast. Overall, I am satisfied. There is a small episode when checking out, but it is not a big problem. If there are activities and suitable prices, local dogs will still stay there again. See you again when we are destined.

Great location very close to the bund and on east Nanjing road so if you want to shop it’s great. I felt the service was below average for the price of 2700 ¥ a night. There was no welcome drinks you would think on a hot summer day the front desk would offer water. There was no help going to the room and guide on Wi-Fi, the room, where the swimming pool and time for breakfast. The turn down service is lackluster nothing was really changed in the room. The front desk really need training on how to treat guest at a luxury level this is not a cheap hotel and thus guest pay extra money for the hotel to pay extra for attention to detail. Breakfast service was great and the selection was great.

Great location to visit the Bund, Yun Garden and City God Temple anytime. Booked the family suite room as a first timer. The room has two beds, enough space for up to 4 person and a living room. Room facing Landmark view (a sculpture). Top notch bidet toilet bowl, automatic closure and opening plus heating of the pad. Down side is the room was stuffy and hot during cold season. Heating system is centralised and the most the hotel staff can do is to provide an additional fan in the room to help with the ventilation. Presume this will the problem of most hotel who use centralised heating/cooling system. Staff is accommodating when you ask for their help. Standard of service is acceptable for me.

Although the hotel room is small, it is clean and sanitary, with a smart toilet, good bathroom supplies, and comfortable tatami mattresses. The price is reasonable in a century-old house where every inch of land is valuable. The hotel is in a good location. Turn left and you will see the Bund. The hotel is also responsive to my requests. In particular, the young owner of the hotel was very enthusiastic from the moment he met me. He helped introduce the room facilities and get hot water. The service was super five-star. It is a hotel worth recommending. Transportation Hongqiao Airport ~ Pudong Airport Take Line 2 to Nanjing East Road, Exit 2 is the closest. Shanghai Station: Take Line 1 and transfer to Line 2 to Nanjing East Road.

The best thing about this particular Atour Hotel is its proximity to the Bund, which is literarily a stone's throw away with a nearby Family Mart that is well-stocked with travel essentials and snacks. Nanjing Road is also within walking distance. As such, this Hotel is not the most spacious one especially if you have a bigger family, as its bedroom fits one big and one small bed just nice and its wash basin has to be in the doorway. One suggestion is to provide 3 towels instead of 2 for a family of 3. The breakfast is expectantly scrumptious with agood mix of protein and vegetables, however its coffee can be better as the current one is a bit too bland, as compared to Atour in other cities. Otherwise, the stay is ”Atourly” perfect.

Found a good deal on trip for this hotel and I wasn’t disappointed! The location is amazing! A 5-10 mins walk to The Bund, 10 mins to Nanjing East Road metro station & the pedestrian street. The room has this lovely retro chic style and was clean. Bed was comfy and amenities were great! I was surprised to see a capsule coffee machine in the room and a few fizzy drinks in the fridge for free. My room was in the second floor & it was noise free as well. Highly recommend staying there!

The hotel location is superb - located near the nanjing east metro station/pedestrian street and 5 mins walk to the bund. Along the same street has local breakfast places. The breakfast provided by the hotel is basic but has variety(shao mai, porridge, hard boiled egg) and non-chinese guests will be able to experience authentic simple Chinese fare. Breakfast was delivered to each room which is great but just too early at 730am-8+am despite me indicating a later timing. The room is clean and the cleaning auntie is very down to earth and friendly. Counter staff also reminds me to order my breakfast daily. The awkward bathroom which was shared by past guests as having pure transparent glass had been fixed with stickers per my photo. Paper cups are given instead of glass cups, water kettle avail, free bottled water avail. My room was facing the bund and the custom house which has a clock that chimes from 7am till midnight at 15mins interval!! If you are a light sleeper, please do request rooms facing the church instead.

The hotel is located at level 11 or 12 of the building. Not all the floors belongs to the hotel. The staffs attitude is cold but helpful in some way. They also offer free laundry and dryer that you can use at level 12. For breakfast, you have to scan the QR at the reception via wechat to claim the breakfast from the vending machine. It is convenient but it is a struggle for those who do not read chinese.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

Ji hotel has great location, right beside daimaru dept store and hongyi plaza. Walking distance to the bund. We stayed at family room (1 double + 1 single). Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

After reading a few bad reviews, I have been hesitant to live, but the two children said that they like the big bathtub, so they chose this place. After living in, the children were very pleasantly surprised and very happy. I didn’t expect the room to be so big. The night view outside was very beautiful, although it was not a room on the Bund. What location is not easy to find, my daughter's customer service is still the location and pictures sent by the boss, and she quickly found the place, and the attitude is very good. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. We went out to play and came back to the garbage. Put it up, That is, the sound insulation of the door is perfect, the window is very soundproof, and the door has a gap. In short, I am very satisfied, I will choose this one if I have the opportunity to go to Shanghai again.

Overall, it is a nice and comfortable hotel to stay. Except that the environment & facilites near the hotel is not so well kept and clean. I noticed there is a small red spot stained on e bathroom floor (not sure what is that, it looked likes blood stain to me). However, on e last night, it was quite warm, I think there is no access of airconditioners during winter season. Other than that, room is really huge and with impressive Oriental Pearl Tower Views! The location is perfect with Yuyuan garden & Cheng Huan Temple located behind, food amenities and shopping street. Sightseeing bus also nearby the hotel to bring me around the bund & famous attraction spots. Subway also a short walking distance from the hotel. Family mart just below only! Price worthwhile overall!

Very enjoyable stay! We arrived early in the morning before the scheduled check-in time. Although it was fully booked that day, they have managed to keep the housekeeping process quick to allow us in for a good rest. Before we depart to airport, they even offered us bottle of mineral water to keep us hydrated. Small gestures, but great hospitality. Kudos to the receptionist team. Will definitely be my top pick in next visit.

The location is great, it is really only a few minutes to the Bund. It is simply convenient at this location. It takes a lot of walking to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to the Bund. There are a lot of food downstairs. In this big holiday, there are traffic control everywhere. It is really convenient to walk.
