I have stayed in this hotel before when it was the Hilton. It was good then, and it is good even now. It used the home tennis stars during the Tennis Masters tournament in Shanghai. The location is the best part of this hotel. and easy access to Metro stations, the neighboring roads Julu Lu Changle Lu and Fumin Lu are buzzing with activity on weekend nights with their endless bars and restaurants! a great place to chill out, and I did just that. I got upgraded to a fantastic room with a view of Jingan Temple!

Second stay after very pleasant one two weeks ago, but slightly disappointed with a few things broken down in the room including the blue tooth speaker resulting in changing to another room which was a little hassle. Although nothing is perfect, but in a very competitive hospitality industry, the consistency of customers’ satisfaction maintains guests’ loyalty. Comparing with other hotels, Puli still stands out as a service oriented hotel. The amenities do look a bit tired and need to be taken care of or upgraded soon.

Everything was perfect except, upon arrival to our room there was a notice on the table which said the swimming pool would be under maintenance the following day for one week. If you want a hotel with a swimming pool, always call the hotel first to confirm the pool is open since there will be no notice via the trip app before you book or after you book.

This a a cute hotel in a great location if you want to go out in downtown Shanghai, since its surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room is of a good size and although the soundproofing isnt amazing there were no noisy guests on my floor so I slept well and the bed was warm and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient,and there is a nice cafe downstairs. The sink in the bedroom area is a little odd but that is really the only bad thing I can say.

I stayed in the Portma Ritz Carlton for 2 nights just after Christmas. The service was excellent, all of the staff went above and beyond to help me. They greeted me by name, remembered my coffee and drink orders and went to great lengths to help me. The staff in the club lounge were amazing, Lisa, Tina, Sunny, Vincent and others. The floor attendant Cici was also so helpful. The location is great, many restaurants around and short walk to The Kerry Center and Jingan temple. definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here at Hotel Equatorial Shanghai. Hotel is easily accessible from Jing'an temple metro station. The beautiful Jing'an Sculpture park is very close. Great location in a beautiful area for shopping and food or for leisurely walking . We found many great restaurants in the nearby area. And being so close to the subway puts the entire city at your doorstep. Hotel rooms are of a classic design. Solid walls ensured great sleep with no disturbances. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel staff are enthusiastic and very helpful when we had questions. A special recognition and thanks to the master chefs and staff in the kitchen. The breakfast buffet here is amazing and not to be missed! Everyday was delicious. Highly recommend! (and keep an eye out for the hotel robot that you will see gliding around and even taking the elevators!) :-)

The hotel is in a brilliant location. Very close to the underground and Jing’an Temple. I have been staying at this hotel regularly for the past 5 years and service has always been good. Only complaint I have is that there have been no renovations or improvements made to the rooms over the past 5 years and the ware and tear is starting to show.

Very good check-in experience, the attitude of the service staff is very good. I need to check in early when I bring my mother to a nearby hospital to see a doctor. I can't wait for the vacancy. A female manager is very friendly and helps to arrange the room. My parents are very happy and let me write a good review! Try to stay in main building (only those rooms with Main Building are better). The other rooms in annex buildings are old, rundown and can be quite unpleasant. The triple room we stayed in (in the annex building), the bed is stiff and uncomfortable. Furniture is old. Most unpleasant is that there is this mirror before the entrance of the toilet. This mirror can be opened and inside is a building service compartment with all sorts of pipes inside and seems to link to other floors. Although it is narrow and i dont thing people can go through.

Everything about this room is amazing. It is clean, tidy, modern, the services well organized and polite, it has character and an amazing location with nice views. The best thing about it though are the people running it, as they are super polite and helpful. I definitely and unreservedly recommend it! I also have a dog and they treated us great, while ensuring of course we take care of the flat. All was done with great politeness and grace. I m super happy with them!

This was a great find. We stayed here with two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. Mostly we were impressed with the service and how quick the owner was to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the area and the 10 min walk to the subway passed a few good eateries though it was a little outside downtown. Warning! Don't try to take a cab during rush hour. Take the subway or walk it! Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, very close to the subway, and just a few steps away from the shopping mall pedestrian street. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is slightly weak, but the quality of the surrounding residents is very good, and there is no problem of noise in the middle of the night! The building is very special, it’s obviously got character but well the inside is very dated, some of the fixtures are not very well detailed for example the shower has some screws coming off and well it’s an old building so it’s understandable, the breakfast was good so was the coffee but half of the staff was friendly and half was a bit careless. It was a good experience.

The stairs look like this, but you won't be disappointed after entering. The inside was clean, and the counter was upgraded to a big bed room to sleep well. There is a small window that feels good overall ～ I will definitely come next time. It's only a five-minute walk from the subway station.
