Deceptive Practices & Unacceptable Experience We booked and paid for this specific hotel but were secretly sent to a completely different property without our knowledge or consent. Only upon arrival did we realize we weren't at the hotel we selected - no advance notice, no explanation, just blatant deception. Key issues: ✖ Bait-and-switch scam: The replacement hotel was in a worse location (further from restaurants/attractions) ✖ Price gouging: We paid 30% more than the actual accomodation's rate, with no refund ✖ Unbearable noise: 3 active construction sites surrounding the property ✖ Zero accountability: Management ignored complaints and refused compensation Most offensive part? They clearly targeted us as foreign tourists who wouldn't notice the switch immediately. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. They falsify bookings, overcharge, and provide substandard accommodations. When we first arrived at the homestay, one of the brother hurriedly came out to carry our luggage in. The check-in process was smooth and done swiftly. Thereafter they even helped us to carry our luggages up to our rooms as we stayed at level 2. The room was spacious and clean, with heater and oxygen tank for us just in case we may need it due to the high altitude. The dog there was so cute and size a huge size! Breakfast was decent as it’s their traditional Mixian and they also served drinks like Coffee and Soya Bean too. Overall a good stay and we enjoyed ourselves very much.
