YHA Malham ★★★★
"it's a great location , near the cove and the local pubs.. my score would be a 3.5 it's just not for me , lovely people / service .. my room was just too hot , ended up sleeping on the floor and not sure if it was the next rooms sink/shower but it was so loud everytime it was used... I expected most of the quirks because it was a hostel experience but for me everything felt slightly overpriced and maybe during the summer months have a fan hire option."
The Lister Arms ★★★★
"Very, very nice country hotel. The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Insufficient: 1. The electric kettle is made of plastic rather than stainless steel. 2. We ate three breakfasts, maybe the chef made different breakfast standards are also different: the first day, enough; The second and three days, the amount was halved, my husband ordered a "full set of English breakfast" and I ordered "smoked salmon eggs", "smoked salmon eggs", bread, eggs, salmon from two to one."
Travelodge Skipton ★★★
"We stayed here one night with friends to go to a Music Night in Skipton The staff here were very welcoming and friendly. It is an ideal stop for Skipton just off the A59 and only about 5 minutes back into Skipton itself. The room was large and very clean. The beds were very comfortable Also it was a good price. We will certainly stay here again for an overnight in Skipton"
Herriots Hotel ★★★★
"Nice hotel"
Grassington Lodge ★★★★
"The room was on the third floor, which might be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. It wasn't huge but was clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi signal wasn't great; videos would buffer a few times, but sending and receiving emails was fine. It's very close to the town's scenic spots. Of course, the town is quite small, so it seems unnecessary to stay more than one night."
Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave) ★★★
"Having read the previous reviews we were very worried about our 3 night stay here. Oh my days it was utterly brilliant. We had one of the recently decorated and updated rooms and it was amazing. The hotel itself is absolutely fine , I don't really know what others expected . The staff are amongst the friendliest and most helpful we've experienced. Always a cheery hello . The room was fab , we liked not having the big desk but most of all on the hottest may bank holiday weekend ever we loved the a/c... never have we loved a/c so much. It kept us and the room beautifully cool. I just about forgive them for removing my favourite curved shower curtain because the shower is still awesome . We didnt eat on site but went to the local village coming back for a cold diet coke outside on the benches. To be able to walk alongside the canal was a trip highlight we didn't expect. Overall our favourite stay in premier inn and we have stayed in loads."
Highfield Guesthouse ★★★★
"From the minute we arrived the landlady was a delight. Very welcoming and chatty, a change from what you get in the big hotels. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable (a little dated but this added to the atmosphere). Close by to everything (town/railway station/shops) but not too busy. Beds were made up daily and towels replaced. and all the little things taken care of. Only thing missing i think might be the option for breakfast, although we didn't need it as we were at events from first thing and were fed anyway. If i am in the area again i will definately stay again. A great stress free 3 nights."
The Railway ★★★
"Excellent friendly hotel - free on road parking - superb cuisine - spotlessly clean - amazing staff with special mention for Josh - good selection of drinks and comfortable rooms - all good Would highly recommend"
The Victoria ★★★
"We were going to walk at Malham Cove and spotted this place for lunch. It was just perfect. Sat outside, the lady serving us was delightful, it was a beautiful location, the food was plentiful and excellent, the beer superb and it was one of the best pub lunches we have ever had. Superb."
