"We stayed at the Africa Queen for two nights while visiting Somone. We had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful (especially Papy at the pool bar), and the surrounding village and lagoon were interesting and fun to explore. There's a solid Dibi place on the corner just down the street. They had some English speaking staff which was an added bonus. We heard that the hotel had somewhat recently been renovated so that might account for some of the less the stellar older review / pictures. "
