"I love this hotel. We stayed here for my birthday and honeymoon and is the best hotel I have every stayed in, anywhere else in the world it would be a 5star+ hotel. The staff can not do enough for you, I have never experienced customer service like it, anything you want to do while staying with them they will organise restaurant, taxi, activities etc. You dont have to lift a finger. The food was amazing all day from breakfast to evening meal. We cancelled a restaurant reservation because we just wanted to eat at the hotel again food was that good. We took advantage of the activities they offer doing the cooking class with Mario and hiring the ebikes exploring the national park the hotel is located in. I would thoroughly reccomend both, we enjoyed them so much. I couldn't reccomend this hotel enough from all the personal little touches they did to make my birthday and honeymoon truly unforgettable."

"No air conditioning during the heatwave (we were given two fans, but with young children, it wasn't ideal; the excuse was that it wasn't possible to install air conditioning due to building regulations—apparently, portable air conditioners don't exist in Italy), wasps in the orange juice at breakfast, and stale bread served at breakfast. Cleanliness was not exceptional. The pool area was cleaned occasionally. Rustic, yes, but not the charmingly rustic kind you imagine... Visited in summer 2022. The worst holiday accommodation I've ever stayed in."

"Our family was meeting for a beautiful family celebration. It was our anniversary. We invited our two sons and daughter-in-laws to join us. Our family lives in three different countries, USA, Brazil and Grand Cayman. Therefore, our time is precious together! Relias Le Macine Di Stigliaano delivered more than we dreampt. Staff/Service: The staff was welcoming and inviting. They are caring, supportive, professional, friendly, accommodating and talented. I can’t single out one person, because every single person wanted to ensure our every need was being met. Rooms: The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The entire hotel was immaculate. Food: The quality of the food was delicious. There were separate dining areas which was nice. Breakfast was served in a bistro style space. Lunch and dinner was served on the beautiful outdoor patio which overlooks the elegant and colorful gardening of the property. The chef’s menu and preparation was amazing. He was very accommodating even though his food was perfection. Great wine selection and drinks. Property: The property was very well designed in order for beauty to be seen in every direction. It didn’t matter where you were walking, sitting or looking out a door or window you saw nature’s best! From the rolling hills to the scenic countryside it was relaxing. Amenities: Wow! The wellness center is located privately so relaxation can be fully enjoyed. We scheduled massages and it was just what we needed. We also participated in a competitive archery event. Everyone had a blast. We had several moments by the pool. Stunning! We placed drink orders from the app and our drinks were delivered. Extraordinary Service: We had a medical issue which required a physician. Margarita, one of the owners, not only found a physician but also gave a personal escort to their office. Oh, I can’t forget, Mallory. Mallory is our pet away from home. She was loving, perfectly mannered, and friendly. What a wonderful surprise. I would rate this rare boutique hotel a 10 out of five if possible. We loved our stay and hope to visit again in the future!"

"We had been staying at location inside the walls of Lucca for a few weeks and needed a 2 night escape. We booked with Residence Arianna so we would be close to Volterra and Siena for some day visiting. Caterina & Fabio have this wonderful, clean and semi modern building about 1/2 way in-between the places we wanted to visit. The apartment we got was on the top floor (unit 10). There is a lift for easy access. The apt itself is great for a few nights. Is very roomy, although the shower is a bit cramped. The kitchen is pretty good, but could use a few extra pans etc. When we asked for a coffee maker, Caterina not only brought us one but also some pretty good coffee. They put on a decent breakfast and there is an onsite restaurant open at dinner time run by Their daughter Arianna and serves up pretty good pasta which we tried one of the nights we were there. And the big bonus is there is a nice large lap pool which we used both days we were there in the hot afternoons - great way to cool off. Highly recommended for creature comforts and location."

"After a short journey along a scenic road, we arrived at this beautiful location. The old monastery looks fantastic from the outside. An update to the bedrooms could give this location an extra boost. It did leave something to be desired, though, and the service was friendly. We had a delicious breakfast outside in the courtyard in the morning. Tasty sweet treats and good coffee. Afterwards, we went to visit the region."

"This property is in the countryside not far from Siena, perhaps a 25 minute drive. It's remote, rustic, and provides an opportunity to relax in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Room was clean and our bed comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped (included a bidet). Breakfast was fantastic and featured a selection of meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, yogurt, boiled eggs, and pastries galore. We had dinner on a Sunday evening and it was equally delectable. Be sure to make a reservation (for dinner) or be prepared to wait or go elsewhere. It's important to note the restaurant isn't open for dinner on Mondays and alternatives are very scant other than in Siena. Emanuel was of particular help when mapping out places of interest to visit in the general area. The entire staff in the BnB and restaurant were excellent. I would stay here again."

"Myself and my friends had the most wonderful experience at Hotel Castello in San Rocco a Pilli. We were a large party of seven, travelling from London to Tuscany (some of us for the first time). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by the owner Marinella - who provided a service for us that was of the highest standard. Equally, when pre-planning parts of our itinerary (from London), the receptionist Valeria couldn't have been anymore helpful! Unfortunately, whilst we pre-booked, our taxi company (in Siena) let us down, Marinella and Valeria went out of their way to resolve the situation - this was far and beyond what we expected and we're eternally grateful! It's a clean, peaceful and beautiful place to stay, with stunning views - we're already looking forward to our next visit already!"

"Six of us stayed in an apartment for two nights as part of our girls' trip. This is a beautiful property with an on-site restaurant, a pool, and a tennis court. All the staff, including Rosanna at the front desk, were very helpful. I would highly recommend this property. Be sure to book one of the rooms that have air conditioning. The apartments don't have air conditioning, and that's a detail we missed when booking this place. They provided us with pedestal fans that were a consolation during a heat wave."
