"If you happen to be in Tarma, this is a great place for several reasons. It’s simple but very clean, bed was comfy and warm, the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is huge, and it’s only blocks from the center and one block from the main bus station. It’s set back into a green area with a larger tourist-focused hotel and has pretty flowers and interesting hummingbirds and other birds. I enjoyed. Great base for what people come to Tarma for— visiting the regional sites. Rosa at front desk can help navigate public options or negotiate a taxi tour."

"First the positive: nice cabin, nice gardens, there are animals in case you go with children, in general the stay was pleasant. Drawbacks: We did not have hot water in the room upon arrival or on the last night before leaving. They gave us a minimal discount, but because we asked for it, at the time there was not even an apology. The breakfast seems somewhat limited to me and very local (cured meat, egg, fried banana), but very good coffee, there were no different options for children who usually eat something different for breakfast. Restaurant closed at night at least during our stay, there was no possibility to heat water. The cabins are clean but since they are made of wood, the truth is that you can hear every movement (in our case we had two floors)."
