Best Ternate Hotels

"We stayed overnight for transit. The hotel is in strategic location, only 10 minutes by car to the airport. The hotel is in the same building with a shopping mall. They upgraded our rooms from deluxe to super deluxe with no additional charge. It’s fantastic to overlook the night views of Gamalama mountain and the city light from the balcony at night. The breakfast provided on 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. However, due to our early flight, the hotel prepared some meals earlier so we could have our breakfast before check out. What an excellent experience!"

"Probably the grandest hotel on Ternate. Government owned (apparently) and it shows. Desperately needing a renovation, it is nice enough but getting rough around the edges. Friendly staff - as always. Great views of the mountain from the terrace/pool area. Food is pretty basic and below what they really should be producing. Overall, still a nice enough place to stay."

"This is an excellently run hotel - all the more unexpected given the place - and strongly recommended if you are in Ternate. The hotel was modernised a few years ago. The interiors are fresh and very functional. The front desk team are very friendly and professional - personally checking the room before releasing it. My room was better designed, equipped and cleaner than most KL Airbnbs/hotels I've stayed in recently. The bathroom shower glass and mirrors were almost spotless... amazing. Breakfast was a decent buffet - pastries, fruit, toast, local hot dishes (really good!) - with clean, modern utensils and plates. Great job! The location is quiet but a walk to the waterfront market area. Straight up the road to Moya and one of the routes to the mountain. 15 mins from the airport. Overall, there is nothing to fault these guys. Yes, no gym, pool, big terrace, etc, but if you want a friendly, safe, clean, very functional space with a comfy bed, decent shower, and workable internet - Belson Hotel is your place."

"Cozzy Hotel Archie 2 was okay for a short visit. The location is very convenient, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, the room felt a bit dated, and the walls were thin, so we could hear some street noise at night. It’s a fine place if you just need a clean bed to sleep in, but don't expect anything luxury."

"Let's start with the positives: The service was friendly and helpful; the room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The environment was relatively quiet, the mattress was the perfect firmness, and the linens were comfortable and conducive to sleep. The breakfast was decent, but suitable for someone like me who's cutting out carbs, and filling enough for a moderate meal. The amenities were complete, including a safe and refrigerator. The lighting was adequate. Cons: The bedside light switch lacked a button to turn off all lights, which needs improvement. The outlets weren't suitable for Chinese tourists, so you'll need to bring your own adapter."
