"We arrived Sunday to this hotel and all I can say is wow ! I never take the time to leave reviews but feel I have to for this holiday . I have stayed in lots of 5 star resorts but have never encountered a hotel where every staff member is happy , helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed . The hotel is lovely and the restaurant food is amazing. We are beach people so have spent our days at the beach and it is stunning , soft sand and clear water ,the hotel beach loungers are so comfy and the beach bar staff are so nice and so attentive I love that you just press a button on your parasol for service it’s great. If you are thinking about booking this hotel then book it it is so relaxing I absolutely love it !"

"After spending 10 days at Vathy Cove, I’d like to share my honest opinion: The hotel is a boutique-style property located in a stunning, secluded cove with crystal-clear water. The sea-view rooms are beautiful and generally clean, although the daily housekeeping was quite superficial. The road to the hotel is rough – about 40 minutes on a poorly maintained track. We knew this when booking, so it wasn’t a surprise or major issue. However, the biggest letdown was the food. Breakfast was very poor: old pastries (not even heated, and no oven on-site to do so), no hot milk unless specifically requested – and even then, it’s heated using the coffee machine’s milk frother or in the microwave, often arriving after 30–40 minutes. Omelets took over 30 minutes to prepare. Lunch and dinner options were extremely limited and overpriced considering the poor quality. Meat was often tough and full of gristle, bread was stale, and we were once served a salad missing its cheese – the staff simply said they’d run out. Even worse, I once found a hair in my salad. The soups were disappointing too – more like warm liquid cream than actual vegetable soup. Fresh fish required pre-ordering a day in advance and cost €120/kg, which is steep for a seaside location – especially considering the fish was not well cooked. There were no real side dishes available. Everything seemed to be fried: a bitter-tasting pita likely made in the same pan as the meat, frozen nuggets, and fries. One day we ordered a fruit platter and received something fresh and nicely arranged. The next day, it looked like scraps from the kitchen – yet we were still charged €22 for it. When we asked why, they simply said they ran out of fresh fruit. We were traveling with a child, and the owner promised to add basic child-friendly options like rice or mashed potatoes to the menu – but nothing changed during our entire stay. Ordering even simple dishes like salads or risottos could take up to two hours, and they often brought the wrong food. Overall, the food was overpriced and very low quality. Only 2–3 waiters seemed properly trained – the rest were inattentive and disorganized. Sadly, I don’t recommend Vathy Cove. While the location is gorgeous, the poor food and service overshadow the beauty of the place. There are plenty of better hotels in Greece where you can enjoy both the view and the experience."

"We stayed at this hotel end of Aug, staff were lovely and helpful the guy who manages the restaurant never stops he deserves a medal. Hotel is about 1yr old all very modern, the rooms are very nicely done there is a fancy wall on the ceiling and behind the bed ( didn’t pass the dust test ) the bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were like sleeping on a brick , the rooms are small but it’s enough they don’t have any drawers in the room so no where to keep underwear/ swimwear they have a fridge and coffee machine, the coffee wasn’t always replenished we just had to keep asking for more .all rooms face the sea we had a beautiful view and listening to the sea in the evening is the best sound the balcony was lovely to sit on and quite big it’s the best sea view I have ever had . Breakfast at the hotel was disappointing for me as they didn’t have any nuts/ seeds or croissants, the bread was nice and fresh , they have 3 cereals to choose from cornflake/ choc cereal and oats if you wanted bacon u just had to ask and they made it fresh for you , the beans were cold not sure if they were meant to be cold or not they made coffee/tea / fresh orange to order , there is enough to choose from and to keep you going till lunch . The Sunbeds are free to use on the beach very comfortable and thick but you were asked not to bring your own food or drinks on the beach , felt sorry for the young girl waiting for drink/ food order on the beach as uniform was long pants she was obviously too hot and she was so lovely. There is a 10min walk into town plenty of restaurants to choose from . During the day if you have food especially meat the wasps just swarm around you no wasps in the evening . If you want to go to thassos this is a nice hotel in a perfect setting."

"We stayed at Elektra Confort Hotel in june 2026 and it was a great experience. The rooms are spacious and confortable, the beach is amazing and right in front of the hotel, the restaurant has very good food (we were very pleased with the breakfast, as well as the food for lunch), the people are very nice and the hotel is very conviently located, as Skala Prinos is quiet and cozy and at perfect distance from other amazing beaches. There were a few minor inconveniences, as the cleaning part can be a little bit improved, the fact that in the parking lot in the back there are no cameras (our car was scratched in the parking lot by people driving a rented car and there were no cameras) and the fact that the bathrooms are rather small. However, these aspects did not affect our overall experience, which was a great, quiet and relaxing one; staying at this hotel was the best choice and it was a very good value for money."

"The vacation met our expectations – crystal-clear sea and good food. The family room in the main building was spacious enough for 4 people, featuring a relatively large bathroom, strong A/C, and insect screens on the balcony doors. Upon arrival, we were caught off guard by the size of the resort and I was worried the beach would be overcrowded. That wasn't the case at all; finding free sunbeds by the sea in the morning was never a problem. We didn't use the pools. We had HB, and the food was truly excellent and varied. Supermarkets are within walking distance in both directions, there is a tavern within the hotel complex, and you can also order lunch or drinks right on the beach. Evening entertainment took place about twice or three times during our stay, mostly quieter live music performances. We spend our evenings differently, so I can't really say much about it. The town of Potos is just a few minutes' walk away – a slight disappointment due to its touristy, 'carnival-like' atmosphere. The hotel, its garden, and the surrounding area are very clean and well-kept, and the staff is lovely. We would happily return."

"We were of female friends consisting of a police officer, nurse and senior manger. We were not being ‘rowdy’ however the receptionist reprimanded our ‘rowdy’ behaviour at watching the England game at night.’ We were NOT, loud apparently’3 rooms’s had complaint about us despite us being quiet. When we questioned about a screaming child waking us up every morning bring ‘louder than us’ we we’re told to ‘report it’ this is my ‘report of it’. This’s me ‘reporting it’. How can you take issue of 3 females watching and England’s game and celebrating for ten seconds when they scored vs 2 hours of a petulant child screaming next door keeping us awake and doing nothing. Very misogynistic and u n fair. Room 321."

"Good breakfast, good location but customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! When we arrived, no one was at the reception, so we had to call someone that was not even familiar with our booking. The room we were given had nothing to do with the one in the pictures, since the one in the pictures was at the first floor and had a balcony, while our room was at the ground floor with a backyard that you could directly access our room. The description of this particular room in the Booking website also mentioned a balcony, but no ground floor. We went to the reception the same evening, but no one was there, except for a drunk guy that could barely speak. So the next morning, we went again to the reception and the receptionist was there. When we informed her that the room did not look like in the pictures, she told us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room! Rude and disrespectful! To make matters worse, the same guy that was drunk the night before (so drunk that had almost passed out) started yelling and telling us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room, trying to convince us that the ground floor backyard was also considered a balcony! He was yelling at us to go outside, showing us other walled backyards of ground floor rooms in the area as balconies! Our backyard was not even walled! Instead, you could directly access our room through the backyard! The guy said he was the hotel manager, but neither the receptionist nor him had any ID as they should! The room had no mosquito nets, had spider webs over the air-condition and was infested with ants. Of all the hotels visited, this is by far the worst! Customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! Don’t go there!"

We have found decent condițion with very kind and amabile host. Definetly not for pretentious peoples, 3 star hotel, located apx 700 m from the sea, 400m from a Matsoumi supermarket. We will come again and we recomend for the boeme atmosfere."

"Wonderful hotel for a quick getaway from London. It is located an easy taxi ride from the main town of Thasos. However, you do have to catch a taxi to Kavala and then a ferry from the town of Kavala to Thasos. Kind of fun. The Room, the grounds and the beach were all clean. I chose the hotel for the private beach- which is wonderful. The sun beds are assigned on a room tier basis - which I kind of understand. However if the hotel isn’t full I do suggest that they allow guests to change up the sun beds a bit. There seemed to be a large selection of foods in the half board option. I personally chose to go into town instead. A lovely quiet break on a lovely super sandy beach."

"5 stars are only for charging you an additional fee of 7.5 euros per night per person, for which they don't even issue an invoice. The rooms are dirty, cramped, neglected. No duvets, just dirty and smelly blankets. Frowning receptionists. A monotonous breakfast with low quality products. For dinner, they mainly use frozen foods, which are put directly on the grill. Not once did I see fresh baked or fried fish."

"A Lovely quiet hotel, beautiful location right on the beach. A short walk (10 mins) either way from the hotel takes you to the Tavernas and restaurants which serve excellent fresh food. Hotel very quirky, clean and rooms beautifully decorated. Fabulous buffet breakfast and the local bread was amazing, as is all the staff, Joanna was a very happy soul always smiling and helpful. Left a tip in a quirky frog money-box by the tables and hope it is found and not just an ornament? Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back there. Our one and only problem was getting into the very high sided bath which is the shower too because we are in our late 70’s it was not easy and could have caused us to fall trying to get out. "We spent 10 wonderful days at Hotel Zest and were completely satisfied with our stay. The location is excellent, right on the beach, so you never have to worry about getting there. The sun loungers were very comfortable, and since there are not many other hotels nearby, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Our room was beautiful and offered a fantastic sea view. We booked half board and enjoyed an excellent dinner every evening. The chef prepared unique and delicious dishes every day. You could really tell that he cooked with passion and care. The fried squid was the best I have ever eaten in my life! The highlight of our trip was the staff. Kostas, Kostas, and Iro were incredibly friendly, open, helpful, and warm-hearted. They taught us a lot about Greek dishes and local specialties, and they always took the time to chat with us. The whole experience felt very personal and welcoming. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team for making our stay so special. Thank you for the wonderful time we had on beautiful Thasos. We will definitely remember it and hope to come back one day! Highly recommended!"

"This is a marvelous little bed and breakfast hotel. It has its own private beach and is in a quiet location. Breakfast is fine but a bit limited and pretty much the same every day and the rooms are compact, Yotel style. The staff are fantastic and helpful and the beach has a bar service. I would certainly stay again. Book with confidence. It has an evening restaurant and there are 3 or 4 tavernas within easy walking distance. It has its own off road parking if you rent a car too."

"The location offers stunning views and, access to a really lovely beach. All staff are friendly and happy to help. They offer two pools, and these don't get that busy as most people use the beach, one of the things I think needs changing is the pool times they offer a lifeguard during the day but this restricts the pool hours, so it's only only 10-18:30, but everyday at closing time the pools where both being used. The food was nice but I think needed more choices, as some nights if you didn't like fish or vegetables, you had chips and pasta, and salad. Overall I would recommend this hotel, mainly for the chilled vibes and the views"
