Sunny Pavilion ★★★

📍 Noovilu, Kalaafanu Hingun, Thoddoo

"A magnificent modern hotel, with top-notch amenities in the room. It's spotlessly clean, and the beach is 700 meters away, making it ideal to be driven there and back in an open car. The owner provides free underwater video footage while snorkeling. Breakfast, however, is a bit meager."

📍 Asseyri Magu, Night Rose, Thoddoo

"I really liked the hotel's location and convenience! Each room has its own private terrace where you can sit and sip tea or other refreshments overlooking the tropical garden! The breakfasts were filling and varied! Bikini Beach is a leisurely 15-minute walk away. Cafes and shops are nearby. You can rent a bike and ride around the island, exploring its most hidden corners! The island is very green and clean."

Hakuna Maldives ★★

📍 Dhilaasaage, Carnation Magu, Thoddoo

"We had a rest in September 2024. Ramiz organized a transfer from the airport and back. The meeting was very warm with coconut juice! Only twelve rooms, a 24-hour swimming pool. Bicycles, masks, fins for rent. We took only breakfasts and dinners. Everything was very tasty, especially fish dishes at dinners!!! The cook always came out and asked for an opinion on the quality of the dishes and about desires for the next breakfast/dinner. Tea/coffee around the clock. It is very nice! The hotel is new, the beds are comfortable, the shower is in the open air. The Wi-Fi is excellent, which is quite rare in the Maldives."

📍 CXQ5+5M, AA, Crystal, Ameenee Magu, Thoddoo

"This is one of best places to stay at Thoddoo island. We’ve been told that Thoddoo is one of the few natural islands with an hour boat ride from the capital Male. This guest house has friendly staff with a nice, modern and clean room. There is a small pool within the vicinity and a nice 10-15min walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants around the area too. Definitely a memorable experience."

📍 CXQ6+RHX, Thoddoo

"We stayed in October 2025. We liked the guesthouse for its bright, clean entrance area and the friendly staff. The manager is always on hand and courteous. The establishment has seven rooms, all cozy, quiet, and family-like. Each room has a table and chairs. There's a kitchenette with a microwave, stovetop, and 24-hour tea and coffee. The owner comes to the guesthouse several times a day to inquire about the guests' moods and needs. The beach towels are good. Upon arrival on the island, we were met at the port by an electric car and escorted back."

Avi Guesthouse ★★★
"We were very pleased with our stay at AVI Guesthouse! The owner is very kind and hospitable, and the staff are pleasant and attentive. From the very first moments, you feel completely comfortable – everything is cozy, homey, and with guests' comfort in mind. I'd also like to specifically mention the delicious breakfasts – everything was fresh and filling. We were given detailed explanations of where the reef was, the best places to go, and what to see, so it was easy to navigate and plan our time. The room itself was also very nice and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you for such a warm welcome and atmosphere! We would gladly stay here again."

"I recommend the Sunny Pavilion to everyone. The owner is very helpful and the location is great. The availability of staff to transport us to the beach in their golf cart was a huge plus. Breakfast was excellent and the place was very hospitable."

"I really enjoyed it. The friendly owner of the villa greeted me, gave me my first dinner free, and drove me to the port after my arrival. The room was clean and had a view of the garden. We highly recommend visiting."

Hakuna Maldives ★★
"We were in this really nice hotel from February 27th to March 10th. The hotel staff were great, the cleaning boys were great, the restaurant 10/10, the chef 12/10 :-))) The food was really tasty, they even prepared something special for our 2 year old daughter (pizza). There are bikes with child seats which are practical for getting to the beach (about an 8 minute bike ride). This was our first time on the island of Thoddoo and our really pleasant stay at Hakuna Maledives meant we would love to come back again."

Belena Maldives ★★★
"A very nice, new hotel with a small pool, Maldivian-style rooms, stylish renovations, new showers and fixtures, cozy grounds, and helpful staff who will pick you up, drop you off, and bring you back. Thoddoo Island is small, but everything is close by, including cafes and shops. We went for dinner to Seli-Poeli, 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel breakfasts are European-style: sandwiches, eggs, toast, beans, steamed vegetables, sausages, tea, coffee, local roti flatbread, tuna with coconut, yogurt, pineapple, and watermelon. Nothing fancy, but you won't go hungry."

"I'll mention the only downside right away: the hotel doesn't respond to calls on trip. The number listed is for some surf school in the Maldives. I was able to find contact information only through people who had previously stayed at this hotel. Otherwise, everything is very good. It's a fairly quiet street, and there are no construction sites nearby. The only noise is from a neighbor's rooster 🙂 Pleasant indoor area. A table next to each room. Bicycles and snorkeling gear are available, so it's convenient if you don't have your own and don't want to buy one. Breakfast is either continental or local, and the fruit selection varies. Everything is delicious; I didn't get tired of it after four days. The location is closer to Sunrise Beach; another one is a 15-minute walk away, so it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, the hotel is excellent."

Sands Garden Hotel ★★★★
"Nice and clean hotel, we chose it because of the pool. But there was no opportunity to swim, because it is not looked after and not cleaned. The first three days there was a buffet breakfast, then portioned and with waiting. The room was cleaned every day, all the staff are nice, except for the manager. He smiles, but is a very unpleasant guy."

Thoddoo Inn ★★★
"Guest house with family drive with Maria that makes exceptional dishes every day. Bike always available to reach the two wonderful beaches. We were also lucky because in 14 days of stay we only got 2 hours of rain despite the period was not the best. I strongly advise you to come to this guest house for excellent price quality haircut Room cleaning nearby shops A great thankfulness to all the staff that made us feel like at home. A goodbye to us soon (I hope)"
