"A small, functional hotel, but a good choice for a budget stay; it's located right in the city center, you can walk to the cathedral and Tours castle in 5-10 minutes, and there are plenty of small restaurants nearby; the staff is very friendly and the room is quite quiet; the bedding is very comfortable; the €8 breakfast is quite reasonable, I highly recommend it"

"I went to spend last weekend with my mom for her birthday. I received text messages in the morning to know the exact time I would arrive, it was complicated to tell them the time given that I live far from Tours, but I was under pressure to arrive absolutely before 4:00 p.m. because the message services were scheduled at that time and the person was coming only for us. Okay, in principle I understand, so I asked if we could postpone the service to 4:30 p.m. and there, I was told that it was not possible to postpone. However, in the salon I saw the masseuse, she did not seem to be in a hurry, I am sure that I could have arrived at 4:30 p.m. without this pressure. When we arrived, the welcome was courteous but not warmer than that. The establishment is rather clean, but aging, it would deserve some refreshing work, in fact the faucet of my shower was broken, the curtains of the room torn and dirty in places, the small decorative tagine on the bedside table broken, and the plastic decorative flowers I find it a little cheap for a place that calls itself "luxury" Foufa's massage was very pleasant, it was a good time, I recommend. For dinner, the briks leaves were reheated and not cooked to order, which made them soft, the couscous was served while we were only at the entrance, but we had the feeling that we had to finish quickly because the people still present in the establishment wanted to leave, we were then left alone in the establishment, if I had not asked the question of whether we were actually going to be left alone, no one would have warned us. I also found that they were in a hurry to clear our table, basically I found that there was pressure on everything, I was not relaxed, there was no music during the meal, quite a strange and uncomfortable atmosphere. The breakfast brunch is not worth it, a lot of leftovers which in my opinion were reheated. Industrial orange juice, and miniature plastic jam. An establishment that would benefit from serving something more refined, we can see that there is no effort made on the meals. To conclude, I would say that it is much too expensive for what it is, that the managers should be trained in welcoming and caring for customers, and above all, special attention should be paid to the meals."

"Most suitable location for taking the train to explore the Loire Valley châteaux. Warm and helpful reception. Clean and nice room. Good breakfast. Around 15 to 20 minutes walk to the old town where one can find a rich variety of restaurants."

"There are a lot of rooms, but only a small reception desk with one person available. There were 2 persons in front of me and it took 15 mins before I was checked in. The hotel clerk didn t explain anything. Rooms are big ,a bit worn out, and very noisy, all street and station noise comes in loud. Expect a wake up around 05:30. Big tv in room and wifi works well. Very basic breakfast, comparable with what you get at every Ibis… Instead of a Novotel, this indeed feels more like an Ibis with bigger rooms. I was not at all impressed and won’t visit this hotel again."

"The staff are doing a reasonable job of working with a tired building that would benefit from updating & modernisation. We were travelling back to the UK & the location is conveniently close to main autoroutes & whilst set in a retail park was quiet. The restaurant does not open on Sunday, the day of our arrival, but there are 4 or 5 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is adequate without being extensive. Parking is conveniently close to the hotel."

House wine had the right effect to enjoy the meal and sleep well. Friendly and welcoming reception to the hotel makes you want to try the Christmas beer at the bar first."
