I thought it would be okay to use the bath in my room, but when I tried to take a bath, it was so small I had to sit cross-legged to get in. They advertised free curry with weekday dinner, but in reality it had no toppings and was just a plain curry sauce. The pillows in the room also smelled like the oily smell of middle-aged men. Everything about this hotel is so terrible it shouldn't be allowed to continue operating as a hotel. I want a refund."

"This is clearly a long-established resort hotel in Mt. Tsukuba, situated halfway up the mountain with unobstructed south-facing views that extend all the way to Tokyo Skytree. The onsen (hot spring) is located on the rooftop, perfect for soaking while watching the sunset or sunrise. Dinner and breakfast are typical Japanese kaiseki meals, exquisite and delicious. Although the hotel facilities are old, the rooms are being gradually renovated and are clean, tidy, and well-organized. Behind the hotel are Mt. Tsukuba Shrine and the cable car leading up the mountain."
