"Booked for the family, for a week to attend my daughter's wedding. Graeme is a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. The property is in a wonderful position, the views are amazingly and we really enjoyed our time there. Plenty of room and the added extra of a pool table and games in the sun room, off the kitchen. The property is old, and as such there are areas that reflect this, but nothing detracted from our enjoyment, and made it more quirky and more like a home than a clinical hotel, with no character. Anything that was mentioned to Graeme was acknowledged, and he is constantly working to keep this beautiful property a pleasure to stay in. We would happily stay here again, in future, we loved the atmosphere, the welcome feeling and the fact that it has almost 200 years of history (but no Victorian ghosts, or at least none that we encountered). The only thing that let us down was the good old British weather, because I'd have loved to have spent more time sat in the outside area, or having coffee on the bedroom balcony, watching the ships go by. Thank you Graeme, it was lovely to meet you and stay in the property."
