"great location near river. Free parking near river was 5 min walk away. Interior decor excellent especially the cocktail and breakfast areas. Only downside was reception was closed on Sunday evening."

"Between the mosquitoes that attacked us all night, the fowls in the roof that woke us at 6:00 ... and the shot on the head by trying to get out of the room (very low door in the way of a very tight staircase) ... Sincerely disappointing experience even if the host was charming."

"I decide after a lot of research we would head to Vendome for our 1st of two nights travelling back to the UK after 7 months in Lot, as a Logis & ETIK member i picked the St. Georges with a private car park. First and foremost St Georges, you NEED someone on your Reception desk.....We arrived mid afternoon, i, having left my Partner parked wherever we could, this place is on a junction, entered into a very dark, totally deserted hotel.....how bad is this, i wandered around, finally giving up after seeing a row of room key 'cards' i went back to the Car, no idea where to leave our Car... We went up to the room, left our things and went for a walk around Vendome, arriving back there was now a very nice Man who spoke perfect English, got the Car parked and then asked about a Restaurant, many where closed, Tuesday, he phoned and got us a Table at a very good Italian across the road... I had booked the room at the front with a big corner bath complete with Bubbles, lovely Bathroom with a very noisy heater/towel dryer. Good towels. The room is big and looked better when the four blinds were down, the double glazing does nothing to cut out the noise, which wasn't too bad for a junction. The Bed...massive and far too big to make the room look right, average in comfort. Small kitchen area if you needed it with a fridge etc. Breakfast was good with my favourite 'egg boiler' so freshly boiled eggs for me and lovely bread...."
