"My best friend and I booked individual rooms after a local stay ended up not being comfortable. The hotel staff was super friendly and the accommodations were beautiful, relaxing, and much more comfortable than our previous apartment rental. Once I walked into my room, took a shower, and sat on the side of the bed....I woke up 3.5 hours later feeling like I just had a spa day. We both scheduled massages downstairs in the Wellness Center and walked away thanking the staff there for amazing massages, which we both needed from body aches due to traveling and working out. The balcony to each room was peaceful and a great way for me to wake up each morning and simply sit there looking at and listening to the stillness of the water and scenery. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"

"We chose this hotel for our last night in Croatia as Vodice is about a 50 minute drive from Zadar airport. Our Superior Double Room with Sea View was comfortable although on the small side. The shower room was modern and there were English channels on the TV. As our flight was in the evening we paid extra for late check-out. We had hoped to chill on our last day by the pool. However there were only 2 sunbeds that were permanently occupied by 2 people and no one else was sunbathing. The pool bar was not fully staffed as you had to ask at reception for refreshments. There is space for about 10-12 sunbeds instead of the tables and chairs by the bar. These are irrelevant during the day, especially as there is no one behind the bar. In the evening if they want to turn it into a bar area, they could stack up the sunbeds and put the tables and chairs out. As it is the swimming pool, although it looks inviting, is largely a waste of space."

"We had a really nice stay at Matilde Beach resort. The beds were so comfortable and the view was beautiful. Everyone was so nice and polite to us. From receptionist Petra to restaurant stuff Hanna and Anđala and all the housekeeping stuff. They smiled and were really helpful in every matter. The only thing we missed was that the housekeeping washed the dishes in the apartment as well. But we enjoyed the stay and we are definitely coming back!"

"This hotel complex is in an attractive location on the seafront and only a five minute walk into the pretty town of Vodice. The bar and pool areas are pleasing to the eye. However, the two residential blocks give off a university campus student accommodation vibe. This student vibe is strengthened on entering the building and then your room. It's rather small and Spartan to say the least with tired carpeting (why carpet?). The balcony is actually rather spacious with a sea view and the balcony door can also be adapted as a window to allow fresh air in (which is nice in September). The bathroom facilities are fine although you have to go on a hunt for the cleaner's trolley to get any body gels or shampoo. Storage was ok and wifi good. There is a rather old fashioned safe but no coffee/tea making facilities. The bed was a bit firm but ok and it was very quiet at night allowing for a decent sleep. The restaurant at night continues the student accommodation feel with basic furnishings and fluorescent tube lighting although that feel is softened when they open the sea facing doors on to the bar patio. Breakfast was very good with nothing being allowed to run out and there are two coffee vendor machines for espresso and cappuccinos. The evening buffet meal choices were good with the open kitchen allowing the chefs to refill or top up food over the counter. Fish choices were particularly good. The wines were good but you need to ask for a large glass or you end up with about two sips worth. Vodice is obviously a thriving tourist town with loads of restaurants and gift shops, and being September it had, for us, a bit of an end of season feel about it The promenade from the town runs along the sea front to the hotel and on past other hotels and apartments. It appears that a third block is being constructed alongside the existing blocks. Perhaps this new accommodation will be less sparse and a little more modern than its neighbours. "

"The hotel was lovely, perfectly located, clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room overlooking the sea was delightful. The disappointment was our Hotel restaurant was not in use and we understand had not been in use for 2 years. I quote from their website: ' the pleasure of fine food in our restaurant' There was no indication on their website that La Belle Vie Restaurant was in fact in another hotel so we had to next door for a buffet style breakfast. During our first week it was so crowded we had difficulty finding a table. After our complaints, the management did reserve us a table but it was not the peaceful start to the day that we had hoped [and paid for]. There was obviously no evening meal in the restaurant, again a very average buffet style meal was provided at La Belle Vie Restaurant next door. We only ate there once. Also, there was no pool service, again you had to walk round to the hotel next door for drinks. This was a pity because we felt we had paid for the service which was lacking. Despite this, we had a good holiday. Would I go back to Villa Radin, No. "
