Phumelelo Lodge ★★★★★
"Unfortunately our stay was ruined by not having electricity in the lodge. The first night we were told the electrician was busy fixing the issue. We went to bed with lights tripping every now and again. Still had the electricity issue on second day and had to shower with cold water. The only thing that made it almost good was the wonderful service from the staff, Ray the chef and Piet and the ladies who were very friendly otherwise the electricty issue really spoiled the mood."
Buyskop Lodge ★★★
"A group of 20 of us shared together in a relaxed conference over 5 days in which everything we needed for our group sessions was well taken cate of. We especially appreciated the warm, personal touch from all the staff and Jan, the owner. We were provided with the most delicious, generously portioned suppers. Buyskop is a peaceful, beautiful place to breathe in the Africa bush, to relax and enjoy time with friends and family with zebra and giraffe wandering nearby!"
BushTime Mabula ★★★★

Klip en Kristal Guest House ★★★
"No inverter for loadshedding, there was a generator on site, but was not started when loadshedding kicked in. No water when loadshedding started, I assume they have a pressure pump on site, no electricity/no pressure. The toilet had some black pieces driping from the water bowl. Bed was comfortable, but we had a really struggled to sleep as the cushions were to hard/high. My husband has neck problems and he had to buy a temporary cushion to be able to sleep. The coffee mugs was not cleaned properly when we used them for the first time. Our fridge packed up on the last day of our stay. Other than that... We liked the aircon in the room, the swimming pool was nice. The braai area was also nice. Room was also equipped with full dstv. Guesthouse staff was very friendly. If all the above can be rectified we will go back anytime, the biggest issue we had is the fact that there is no working back up system in place when loadshedding starts. Other than that, the rest of the issues we experienced is not a big issue for us. "
Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp ★★★★★
"I cannot tell you how much this lodge made our entire holiday and has had such a huge impact on our time and a once in a lifetime experience. The staff cannot do anymore for you than they do. The tents are immaculate, the public areas perfect and the staff are so kind and friendly. The tents are straightened daily and hot blankets and heaters are turned on for you returning on a night-time. Nightly fires and blankets, fresh water constantly provided and friendly faces wherever you turn. The food is difficult to even describe. Fresh, different and cooked to perfection by a clearly extremely talented and charismatic chef, Johanes. Not to mention the amount of food you are offered, consistently at an incredible standard. I feel a particularly special mention should be made to our game driver, Andrew. For us he was the highlight of our trip and made this an unforgettable experience. Every question was answered with in depth knowledge and patience. When I say someone was born for this job, I genuinely mean it with this man. No question was too big or small and the facts he could provide were exceptional. He clearly has an in depth knowledge and care for his role. Outside of the game drives, he is constantly helping around camp, setting up fires, transporting guests, cleaning the pool and serving the food from early morning to late at night. I sincerely hope he knows that his hard work at the lodge is acknowledged and seriously appreciated. We understand that as guests, they see many of us come and go in short periods of time, but for us they are memories and individuals that shaped an unforgettable life- altering experience. From the bottom of our hearts I hope they know this. Tears were absolutely shed when driving away from the camp and we are already planning our return."

Elements Private Golf Reserve
"An Unforgettable Stay at House 111 From the moment we stepped into House 111, we knew we were in for a treat. A personalized welcome Christmas package from Elanie set the tone for what would be a fantastic experience. Her home is immaculate, modern, and absolutely stunning. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the oversized bathtubs, paired with the thoughtful detailing in each bathroom, added a touch of luxury to our stay. The highlight for my family, however, was the Jacuzzi. Despite the rainy weather during our visit, soaking in the hot Jacuzzi after a day filled with games was pure bliss. Elanie is a phenomenal host who truly pays attention to detail. For those seeking an elevated culinary experience, I highly recommend hiring Godfrey, the personal chef referred by Elanie. Every meal he prepared was exquisite—scrumptious, professional, and tailored to perfection. Godfrey went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extraordinary. House 111 is a perfect 10/10. I can’t wait to return with a group of friends later this year!"
Nako Safari Lodge
"From pick up to to drop off back in JNB. We had the most magical experience at Naku Lodge. The hospitality and drives surpassed my expectations. The accommodation was of an extremely high quality, every detail thought through. The drives were exciting and very informative, we were in safe hands. We were welcomed back to the Lodge with a lovely dinner or a bountiful breakfast. All of the staff were welcoming. I will be going back with family and friends. I can’t fault anything."
