Be aware that there is a northbound and southbound hotel, services on either side are not joined. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, good stopover but wrong side for going to alton towers from the south 🫣"

"What a gorgeous house. It has buckets of character and my room (Katrina's Room) was massive, as was the bathroom with roll top bath and spacious shower. Bed was so comfy and the views stunning, even in the pouring, February rain. Sue was a fab host and her brekkie was divine. Will be back next time I'm in the area. The pub down the road is also rather lovely. Great food and atmosphere. A refreshing change from the bland, chain hotels I usually have to stay in!"
