"The environment is absolutely stunning!! (The lakeside room, I'm not sure if all rooms are lakeside) It's so beautiful, and there's even a small balcony. Sitting on the balcony with a drink in the summer would be so relaxing, although I went in winter, so I can only imagine. The building is probably around 200 stories high, so the facilities are relatively limited. There are only two places in the room with a few power outlets each. There's no mini-fridge, no kettle, just a desk and a wardrobe. The bathroom facilities are okay. Fortunately, the room is clean and hygienic. Although the facilities aren't comprehensive, they're negligible compared to the breathtaking view. Parking is convenient, but the hotel breakfast is a bit simple."

"Great location next to the lake and easy to access.   Unfortunately service was poor: check-in was at 4:00 pm but our room wasn’t ready until about 4:30 pm due to staff shortages for the holidays.   Breakfast was disappointing — leftover cakes and desserts from a party were mixed in with breakfast items and felt like a quick cover-up, not proper breakfast offerings.   At checkout the receptionist admitted staffing problems (several employees absent) but the hotel should not sell rooms if they can’t staff them.   Not what I expect from a four-star hotel."

"I stayed at Rigi Kaltbad last August and it was wonderful. Panoramic views of the mountains, dining and a VERY relaxing mineral bath spa experience. Fast forward to today: young parenting couples bring their infants, toddlers, plus older to the mineral pool. They jump, play, scream and no one seems to care. The spa is managed by a separate company. After a 4 hour hike I wanted to luxuriate in a quiet, serene setting. So, if you want to bring your children to a wellness spa to relax; enjoy this NOW family oriented resort. BTW, the rooms are antiquated and need a facelift. One sinks into one's own mattress and it is like falling into a "V." Restaurant is less than wonderful. However, on a positive note, the staff is amazing!!! PS - Stay away from the steam room; there was green nose stuff on the floor!!!! Read less Date of stay: July 2024"

"Nice mountain hotel 5 min walking distance ( slightly steepy road) from Rigi Kaltbad. Very friendly staff, cozy and clean room. I had the room with a little terasse towards the lake… amazing panorama! Not a lot amenities ( no tv, no coffee maker), but this hotel is about the nature experience! Being a little bit secluded and not reachable by car, logistics is not trivial. Therefore no à la carte menu, but if you are interested, they offer a really with love made 4 couse dinner, that tasted also really good. Nice breakfast buffet. For nature lovers, who appreciate the simple but good things a must!"
