"Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. The hotel's Ctrip customer service responded quickly and was very enthusiastic. Check-in at the front desk was efficient. I stayed in an executive room which included lounge access with light meals and simple afternoon tea. The coffee made by the lounge attendant was delicious, and I went for a cup every afternoon during my stay. The only slight unpleasantness was one morning at breakfast. We had clearly waited in line to enter, but a female manager at the restaurant seemed to misunderstand, thinking we had cut the line. Her attitude wasn't great, and she had a stern face the whole time – it must have been a misunderstanding. However, all the other hotel staff I encountered were excellent; some even greeted me proactively. Overall, the service was really good. I'll definitely choose Shangri-La again next time I'm in Wenzhou."

From hotel 2nd floor there is an exit that leads to the skybridge that is connected to wenzhounan. Just look for the giant figurines. From wenzhounan look for the sign "hotels" that leads to the skybridge. Didi to hotel cost less than 20 rmb. Pls note there is a designated pick up for online car hailing service. Different floor from normal taxi. No handsoap provided. Breakfast is great. Room is big."

The overall cleanliness was good, though it would be perfect if they paid a bit more attention to detailed cleaning around the headboard and toilet. They even gave us a small parting gift when we checked out. Overall, I was very satisfied; it's a hotel with excellent value for money, especially during the Chinese New Year period. Highly recommend."

"The lobby and restaurant were decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel safe. The decor was also quite new. I heard they offer a very good lunch, but I didn't have time to try it next time. The hotel facilities were pretty good; there was a chess and card room on the third floor, a spa on the fourth floor, and what seemed like a Hema delivery point on the first floor, which was very convenient."
Wenzhou Park Wonderful Mermaid Resort Hotel
"This National Day holiday, we took our child to the Mermaid Hotel, which opened in May 2025. The rooms were large, but the formaldehyde smell was still very strong when we opened the door. We had to leave the balcony door open for most of the day and use an air purifier to get a little better. Secondly, the service was terrible. There was a half-empty bottle of beverage left by a previous guest in our refrigerator, and there was something that looked like a piece of sheet metal on the sofa. What if our child broke it? Also, no one cleaned our room the next day. Even if they didn't clean, they didn't provide toilet paper, water, or toothbrushes. We had to ask the cleaning lady ourselves. This service was completely unworthy of the price. Finally, there's a swimming pool on the second floor, and several rooms have direct access to it. People were swimming in the pool until 11 pm, which was very noisy. The hotel could set some time limits to avoid disturbing other guests. The soundproofing wasn't very good either; we could hear people talking loudly in the next room. The only thing worth mentioning is that their breakfast was okay."
