"I stayed in Zug for one night before doing the Stoos Ridge hike. What a charming city & a perfect hotel ! Immaculate, historical, quiet & very welcoming and friendly staff Breakfast was great ! I was traveling solo and this hotel was an easy 10 minute walk from the train station, and less than 5 minutes to the lake. Highly recommend !"

"I travel to Zug, Switzerland a lot and had to book a Vision apartment because all hotels were booked up due to an event and I was booking short notice. It was expensive. I had googled in advance to see if it had aircon, given i arrived during a heatwave and had booked the cheapest room and google seemed to suggest it did (but to be fair I accept that is not the fault of Vision apartment and I should have called them direct in advance). The room (a 'mini') was so small it felt more like a sweltering capsule, and I arrived late in the evening. Other occupants were shouting and singing loudly when I arrived and I immediately wanted to leave. There were barely any plug sockets to charge a phone or laptop and it was too hot to work. I sat there until I could find a late night no show in a nearby hotel then left and will not go back."

"1 night ( May 2nd).. 3rd hotel in our week in Italy & Switzerland & the hotel I liked the most 😊👍.. A great location in relation to the lake.. Warm welcome, excellent room, that was as described😊.. As with the previous 2 hotels, the breakfast was yummaliscious. Zug is a great place to visit from the UK, i.e. it's an easy train ride from Zurich.. A return is definitely guaranteed..😊"

"Minimum amenities, older hotel with limited services. They don’t have guest services or ice machines. If you need ice, must come downstairs to reception since there’s only one staff member during evening hours (9pm) so no room delivery. Heating unit doesn’t work despite thermostat adjustments. There are no artwork or paintings in rooms so it looks like you are living in a college dormitory. While the staff is nice, quiet neighborhood, and room is clean, I would opt for their sister Park Hotel next door, for future visits. It’s also 15min walk from Zug center."

"I’ve moved to CH and lived at Gubelhod Suites for 3.5 mths. The reason I gave 5 stars is simple: SERVICE and LOCATION. I could count on the spetacular attendance from Johanna that has always reacted quickly to my doubts and requests. Besides, you are too close to train station, mall, supermarketS, restaurants and the LAKE. At last, the apartment was very functional, nice and the weekly cleaning makes a lot of difference."
