City-Hotel Ochsen ★★★★

"1 night ( May 2nd).. 3rd hotel in our week in Italy & Switzerland & the hotel I liked the most 😊👍.. A great location in relation to the lake.. Warm welcome, excellent room, that was as described😊.. As with the previous 2 hotels, the breakfast was yummaliscious. Zug is a great place to visit from the UK, i.e. it's an easy train ride from Zurich.. A return is definitely guaranteed..😊"

"1. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the sleep is very good. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out speed is fast, the location is convenient, the travel is convenient, the overall experience is good, and I will choose next time. 2. The hotel has a quiet environment, good health, intimate service and high cost performance. The surrounding facilities are complete, convenient to travel, and it is recommended. 3. Satisfied with the overall stay experience, the room is spacious and bright, clean, good service attitude, good sound insulation, recommended stay."

VISIONAPARTMENTS Zug - self check-in ★★★

"I travel to Zug, Switzerland a lot and had to book a Vision apartment because all hotels were booked up due to an event and I was booking short notice. It was expensive. I had googled in advance to see if it had aircon, given i arrived during a heatwave and had booked the cheapest room and google seemed to suggest it did (but to be fair I accept that is not the fault of Vision apartment and I should have called them direct in advance). The room (a 'mini') was so small it felt more like a sweltering capsule, and I arrived late in the evening. Other occupants were shouting and singing loudly when I arrived and I immediately wanted to leave. There were barely any plug sockets to charge a phone or laptop and it was too hot to work. I sat there until I could find a late night no show in a nearby hotel then left and will not go back."
