please help me to write a hotel review. The hotel is nice,its have supermarket nearby. But parking also nice just the space a little bit small for you to park your car. but it is very convenient to bring your luggage direct to your room. the room is clean and tidy,just the light is quite dim. and the car from outside the road is quite bising since the room is at the corner near to the vamp. The swimming pool is nice but dont have the children pool. The breakfast is okay and have many delicacies which like malaysia also. Excellent. My kids love the pool and the playground. My husband enjoyed the gym. The room is spacious. We picked the grand deluxe and love it. Two toilets, how convenient. I heard there are connecting rooms between deluxe and grand deluxe. We are going to pick those when we come back. The staff is friendly. When i accidentally left my stuff after checked out, they helped me look for it and i easily could get it back without any hassle.

Spent 3 nights here at higher hotel. What can we say, firstly the hotel was clean, linens towels were clean. The room size was surprisingly big too. We had the twin bed but that’s ok for us. Location wise, just 7km away from the airport. Dart costs BND10 each way. In terms of shops and eateries, there’s myriads of shops just walking distance. They have laundry just next door to the hotel. The food in the hotel breakfast served home meals, close to local dishes. We get used to it since it’s almost like our own. Lastly, but the most significant one would be the friendliness of all their staffs, whom 90% was Filipino. They are very polite and just friendly to every guests. If we ever come to Bandar Seri Begawan again, we will look no other than Higher Hotel.

The location is fantastic. Even during Ramadan, they prepared breakfast for us. And not just in the room, but we could eat as much as we wanted at the 7th-floor buffet. Thank you! The room is spacious. There are so many light switches that it's hard to figure out which one controls what. There was a kitchen, but it wasn't usable – no pots, pans, plates, or spoons. There's an electric kettle, two complimentary bottles of water, and a fridge. The staff are very kind. I appreciate having a bathtub, and the hot water works. My biggest complaint is that even with the AC turned off, it was still cold. Maintenance came to the room multiple times, but it remained chilly. The pool is a good size, and there's a gym too. A supermarket is conveniently connected next door, along with cafes. Across the road is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and it seems to be owned by the same group. Postcards can be found at the Ritz-Carlton gift shop. The hotel front desk offered a service where, for $1 per card, they would go to the post office, buy stamps, and mail them for you – very helpful! A ride to the airport was about $10 via a ride-hailing app. The place has a retro vibe. There were koi fish in the lobby. The biggest issue is the no-smoking policy; you can't smoke outside, in your room, or anywhere on the premises. Apparently, this isn't due to Ramadan but is a Brunei rule.

Pros: Great location, low price, free airport shuttle, and a wonderful coffee shop open from 7 AM to 11 PM in the building next door. Cons: The hotel is very old, everything in the room is outdated: the furniture, carpet, sofa, and bathtub. Everything is ancient. The water from the tap is yellow, and there's absolutely no water pressure in the shower.

The staff were all really enthusiastic. The hotel itself was actually pretty good. I stayed on the second floor, and I can understand why some people mentioned it being a bit damp – it definitely was, but it was manageable if you kept the exhaust fan on. Capital Residence Suites, Brunei I had a generally pleasant stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the place felt quiet and calm, which was nice after a long day out. The bed was comfortable and the room was well maintained. Breakfast was provided and was simple but sufficient to start the day. Nothing fancy, but acceptable. A good highlight is the free city tour organized by the hotel. During the tour, I managed to visit Energy Hub, Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien, Istana Nurul Iman, Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Gadong Mall, and Masjid Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, which was very convenient for first-time visitors. Also the big plus is free airport pick-up and drop-off (reservation required) Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it offers decent value for money and is suitable for a short stay, especially if you want an easy way to explore Bandar Seri Begawan.

We enjoyed our one-night stay with my friends. We stayed there for our hiking trip. They granted us a late check-out until 1:00 PM. Breakfast was alright. I wish they had soup options like corn or mushroom, and more fruit selections—there was only watermelon (not sweet) However, the main courses were delicious. Wi-Fi on Level 5 was not stable. The swimming pool was closed for some reason. We called the reception 3x, but no one picked up. Other than that, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it.

This five-star hotel feels more like an upscale local resort. Upon check-in, they told us they'd double-upgraded us to the main building, which was great as the pool was just downstairs. The pool bar service was decent, but the coffee was terrible. Breakfast was okay. We went to the Western restaurant on the 6th floor for dinner, and the service there was excellent, with reasonable prices. Overall, I found the stay experience to be very good, but the service in the public areas was just average, and the buggy staff's attitude wasn't great either. There's no valet parking at the entrance. Compared to the 'seven-star' hotel everyone talks about, I'd say this is more like a high-end resort, suitable for locals looking for a staycation. Tourists don't need to make a special trip here.
