Hotels With Breakfast in Johor, Malaysia

I've booked the Executive Four Bedroom Duplex (3kings &3single) for 2 days 1 night. My family members are happy with the rooms. Just share a feedback from them, we booked the hotel and noted that the check in timing is 3pm. In comparison to other hotels, this is a late check in timing. We arrived at 12pm and checked with the reception that the check in timing is 3pm. We have asked if we could check in slightly earlier as we have elderly on wheelchair but the reception told us that the room will only be ready at 3pm. We went back at 2.45pm, the reception still updated us the room was not ready. Eventually, We have to seek help from the hotel manager. First of all, checking in at 3pm for a hotel is already considered a late check in timing. Nexr, understand that the hotel is packed with guests, we should be given the hotel access card at 3pm instead of being told we have to wait beyond 3pm and having all our family members waiting at the hotel lobby. Lastly, we should be granted late check out timing without charges should the hotel room is not ready by check in timing. This is not my first stay at KSL. Really appreciate that the hotel management look into this. Thank you.

Highly recommended! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The hotel is very clean, and we especially loved the breakfast. My family really enjoyed the food and the overall setup. We had a wonderful stay!

It’s our 2nd time staying with R&F, as our first time’s experience was fantastic, even my 2yo toddler kept saying she wants to go back to the room. We love the spacious size of the unit, very family friendly. Overall cleanliness level is great too, the amenities provided are all like hotel standards. Instructions and checks from the team are very prompt as well. Location wise we have nothing to say, just way too convenient. This time we got a wonderful full sea view as well! It’s sooo pleasant overlooking the sea from our big room balcony. The pleasant surprise this time round is the non-stop fireworks due to CNY that we are able to see from our balcony from the other side of the sea, it’s just sooo beautiful! Again it has left my little girl a wonderful memory, she kept saying she wants to go back to the room to view fireworks this time round😂Overall we would rate our experience 10/10. If we are to return to JB will stay with Fuju homestay again definitely as welll. We love their service and how they manage the property. Thank you for your support and great efforts team! Pls keep it up 👍💪Forgot to mention, downstairs there are 24Hours convenient stores & some restaurants, also very convenient.

Breakfast at Oliva cafe was great. But on the 2nd morning which coincides with Xmas day, the service was not too great. Too a while to replenish food 😅 might be due to lack of staff? I don't know. The best point is the location, near (walking distance) to mid valley south key mall but not the same pricey tag to st Giles. Room is clean and functional. I like that I can control the thermostat

I booked a Suite for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate a loved one's birthday, but the experience failed to live up to the occasion. Expectation: A special birthday touch and a premium room experience. Reality: Our requests for a cake and decorations were ignored, and the view from the Suite was just the side of another hotel. To make matters worse, the in-room dining service was disappointing; the staff member was surprisingly unpleasant to talk t when I asked about the menu, and the food quality was subpar. While the infinity pool views of the Johor Strait and the excellent breakfast buffet were highlights, they couldn't make up for the service gaps. We will not be returning here for any future special occasions.

Our second stay in this hotel after 1.5 years. The hotel is still well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They will greet you every time when you pass by. The room has a sofa which you can request for extra bedsheet, blanket and pillow for a child to sleep so it is perfect for a family of 3. They provide basic amenities. Food varieties also reasonable and I saw some improvement. This time they invested a fresh orange juicer machine so that guest gets to drink fresh juice. Overall good, will come back again if they are able to maintain the affordable price.

Bathroom got hot showers. Bedroom is good and comfortable. Good location and near night market and many shops. Market and variety cafeteria. Staff worker very good and helpful iff you have a question for ask address where do you want to go.

A decent hotel located at the western part of Johor Bahru. Breakfast was ok with local delights such as porridge, Nasi lemak and prata. Western bakery were served as well. The room I stay was a family room as smaller rooms I understand were all fully booked. However I did inquire on the e possibility of late checkout which is 1230pm and they are flexible to do a so call half day extension till 6pm at a top up depending on the room availability. Swimming pool looks clean when I visited. No many shopping and eatery around unless you drive.

Okay, Fives is definitely not a five-star hotel, but honestly, the location, price, and staff more than make up for it. Pros: Price is shiok — especially if you book a few weeks in advance. Your wallet confirm happy. Location solid — Yes, it’s a few hundred metres further than the big-name hotels, but still right opposite Komtar JBCC. Just cross the road and you’re there lor. Staff all very steady — Always cheerful and polite. Stayed here more than three times already, and every time feels like coming home (minus the nagging from mum). Facilities okay one — No pool, but got a big, comfy lobby where you can nua while waiting for your Grab. Best part? Got a huge convenience store inside the lobby that opens till 2am. Supper crisis solved lah. Cons: No pool lor. So if you wanna float around in a bikini, go somewhere else. Never tried the breakfast spread, so cannot comment. Maybe nice, maybe meh. Other notes: Rooms are small-small one, and while they look clean, maybe don’t go CSI mode and inspect too closely. Not a dealbreaker though — just manage your expectations. Verdict: If you’re in JB for one or two nights, and you just want a good location, great price, and no-frills stay, this one is perfect.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the train station, making it incredibly convenient whether you're arriving by train from Kuala Lumpur or heading to Singapore. The room facilities are very good, and the view outside is quite beautiful. I thought I'd have to use a sofa bed, but to my surprise, they brought an extra bed directly. The room rate is pretty good; you save over 200 yuan if you don't opt for breakfast. There are shopping malls on both sides, and even a Huayang that Kuala Lumpur couldn't squeeze in.
