Saibei Station (Kubuqi Desert Wokuotai Branch)

everything is quite nice. we booked the biggest villa. totally, it has 5 bed rooms: two of them is the kang bed (6m long bed), two of 2-bed, one of king bed. overall, the villa is clean and nice. big enough to accommodate 10-15ppl. the service is very great, especially the head staff who helped us arrange dinner which we forget to prebook or took us to nearby desert. the staff also help set up the bonfire and movie for nice chill, which we really appreciate. the toilet is also clean. inside the villa, also have a pool, a bonfire, a tea room. still, the pool may not be that clean. and there may be some insects. it is also important to prebook the dinner or the menu will be limited. there is also not much alcohol choice, so better bring your own.
Nairi Tourist Reception Center

I visited once in May and the grass is not as good as it is now. This time I came to take a hot air balloon to fulfill my wish. The next day I am going to go to the desert to play. The little brother also recommended the cost-effective tickets. I have been to other people's houses before, but relatively speaking, this one is really real. Very good. The grassland conditions are limited and not so perfect. The main reason is the high quality of service from the young boss. The weather is good these days. Even the Milky Way can be seen. The night view taken by Apple's original camera is absolutely amazing. The last time I saw the rainbow, I saw the Milky Way this time. I’m so lucky that every time my little brother gives me a small gift, I’m so careful that this will be the base.

Huabin International Hotel

Jinqiao Economic Development Zone/Pengxin jinyoucheng mall
The only thing that really shined about this hotel were the staff. Pretty much every single employee I ran into would give a polite greeting and always had a smile on their faces. Special Thanks to Jin Ping, who went out of her way to keep me satisfied; she helped sort out an issue with the gym (in person) and she even gave me her own fan when the air conditioner was not working in my room. I can tell she genuinely care. Very thankful to have her. The location is quite convenient; there's a shopping mall about a block away and if you continue walking in the opposite direction of the hotel, you'll find various restaurants and small shops. It was also easy to reach the attractions from the hotel. Despite the hot summer of July, the room didn't have a proper air conditioning system. It was preset to 27 degrees in the middle of the day, which was very frustrating when returning from the outside scorching heat. Air conditioning should be a basic amenity considering that it's July and it's rated a 4-star hotel. There's also a misconception about the gym. On Trip.com, you get the impression that the gym is part of the hotel, which Is not; I couldn't find any explanation regarding the gym usage. I came to find that it is an independent, fully equipped gym and you need to pay 48 yuan per session. Paying this amount isn't that much of a big deal, but I booked the hotel in great part because of the gym itself.
Baotou Rare Earth International Hotel

Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Zone
The hotel was very easy to find. Not far from the train station which was very convenient. When we arrived we realized we would have trouble because the staff at the international hotel did not speak English. We had some difficulty with this throughout our stay. I would say that our stay was quite nice though. Except for one thing. The air conditioning in our room. We could not control the air conditioning. We were there during a hot time of the year and we could not get the temperature in the room to be cool. My wife has a medical condition which keeps her from cooling off easily. We really needed cool air. We asked two or three times for people to help us and they would come up and ask us to wait and then not help us. We ended up going to a localShop and buying electric fans for the room. We didn’t sleep well the entire trip because of the heat. We could not even open the window because we did not have a window in our room. I think that if you are going to have windowless rooms you should have a good ventilation. Breakfast was OK but not great. After trying it the first day my son and I did not even want to go down and have breakfast in the morning. Eating in the restaurant is not worth the money at this hotel. Overall we had a good stay. The swimming pool was very cold, that was refreshing! My son and wife and I all enjoyed the swimming pool.
Jinjiang Inn (Hohhot Dazhao Affiliated Hospital Metro Station)

First Affiliated Hospital/Islamic Street
The hotel was nice, in a great location close to all touristy places. We just had stayed in Jinjiang hotel (same company) in Baotou and this hotel in Hohhot was so much better because staff was kind, room was clean, no transparent bathrooms which is awesome. The only thing that the room is a bit small and it is possible to get better offers for lower price. But anyway we truly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks to staff members for being welcoming!
Baiquan Villa Hotel

Wanda Plaza
The second time I stayed at Baiquan Villa, the hotel environment is very good, the room facilities are perfect, especially the bathtub in the big bed room, just washed away the ash in the afternoon, the hotel service awareness is very good, there are questions and needs, the first time to arrange door-to-door processing. Unfortunately, I arrived late, there was no random bed room in Block D, and the big bathtub there was more comfortable for two people to soak together. However, the shoe polish cloth was perfectly cleaned up for a family of three leather boots that climbed the volcano dusty for a day.

Wanda Plaza/Inner Mongolia Museum/international exhibition centers
It was quite good. It was my first time staying here. This should be an old hotel, but it was very clean and hygienic. It was admirable. The waiters greeted us when they saw us. It was really nice and welcoming. The facilities here were complete and the rooms were all disposable toiletries, which were convenient to use. I want to emphasize the mattress. It was very comfortable to sleep on. I always felt that I didn't want to get up. The waiters in the restaurant were also very enthusiastic and introduced the dishes. Their pancakes were delicious, and the Mongolian milk tea with milk skin was amazing. There was also a treasure box at the front desk, which was very convenient to use. In short, it was very good.
Enhe Ranch International Youth Hostel

Enhe Russia Ethnic Township
This hostel was recommended in Lonely Planet along with several other travel blogs from Inner Mongolia and it did not disappoint. The location was fantastic as it was set a bit further out from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The ranch sits directly beside a river and parallel with it is a walking/biking path that is perfect for pictures during golden hour and for seeing the stars at night. It would have been nice to know in advance that foreigners are required to complete their own registration at the local police station because we could have gone there straight instead, but fortunately it was only a five minute drive from the hostel and we were able to check-in without a problem. It was hot at night and the air conditioner didn't seem to work despite setting it to 19 degrees Celsius. Enhe ranch was in a great location for a day trip to Shiwei on the Russian border along with the birch forests in E'erguna on our way down to Hailar. My favorite part was the view from the bedroom--stunning!
Yuli Hotel (Tongliao City Government Branch)

Municipal Government
The newly renovated hotel environment and sanitation have nothing to say. The most satisfying thing is that one of the hotel's pillows has some hardness, similar to memory pillows, very comfortable, and those who can't sleep on the fluffy pillows should understand!
