Charles_HendoThis resort was AMAZING! 5/5! What a true gem. The hotel staff are incredible and upgraded my room to a Nile view. The management really know how to treat you and make you feel special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long hot day in the Egyptian sun. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Highly recommend this hotel

Eddie_OThe Temple Hotel & Spa in Luxor is truly a hidden gem and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. From the beautiful design of the hotel to the exceptional level of service, everything about this place reflects quality and comfort. The moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was incredibly respectful, attentive, and eager to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel at home from day one.
One of the best things about The Temple Hotel & Spa is its location. It is close to many of Luxor’s famous attractions while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment away from the busy crowds. This made my trip both exciting and relaxing at the same time.

Guest UserEvery service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night

The water around the room was relatively clean and I didn't particularly care about it personally.
Since it is located on the west bank side, it is recommended to stay on the east bank side if you are sightseeing in the east bank main, but I think it is good here if you are sightseeing on the west bank side ◎
The local ferry terminal is nearby, and you can walk less than 2 km from the ferry terminal on the east river bank side to the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple.
The view from the restaurant on the rooftop is great and you can see it forever. The food is delicious too! Above all, the staff were very kind and I liked it very much ☺️

Old hotel . Didn't have elevators to one of the rooms and we had to carry our luggage ourselves. They had no warning about it when booking this type of room. Not an expected experience that says this is a 4 srar hotel ! On the positive side, location is great with a nice swimming pool.

Pete04I enjoyed my stay very much and wouldn’t think twice about going back. The location is excellent, and Luxor Temple is just a 5-minute walk along the side of the Avenue of the Sphinxes. There are many shops and cafes close by, though the central location can be noisy at times.
The hotel and the spacious rooms are dated and could use an update, but everything is comfortable. The rooms include a fridge, a kettle, and free tea and coffee. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay very good value for money.
Breakfast offered a great variety, including made-to-order omelettes, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, and yoghurt. The rooftop is a highlight, featuring a small swimming pool with loungers to relax on after sightseeing. There is also a bar serving alcohol and a good range of food. Best of all, the rooftop offers fantastic views of Luxor Temple with the Avenue of the Sphinxes leading up to Karnak Temple in the distance.

Highly recommend this hidden gem hotel in Luxor! The overall environment is clean and elegant with a super comfortable atmosphere. There are neatly arranged lounge chairs by the outdoor swimming pool, and lying on them to sunbathe in the afternoon is the perfect cure for travel fatigue.
The breakfast has a mind - boggling variety of options, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts and freshly squeezed juices all available, kick - starting your day full of vitality. Several in - house restaurants are also outstanding, allowing you to enjoy authentic delicacies without leaving the hotel.
The room details are well - thought - out. The provided safe allows you to store your personal valuables with peace of mind. The biggest surprise is the bedding—the mattress and pillows are so soft that you won’t want to get up once you lie down.
A special shout - out to Yasmin at the front desk! When I arrived at the hotel, it wasn’t yet the check - in time, but she kindly helped me check in early, enabling me to drop my luggage and rest sooner. It was such a thoughtful gesture.
It offers great value for money for a one - night stay. You definitely won’t regret choosing to stay here in Luxor. Truly recommended to everyone!

Guest UserSteigenberger Resort Luxor | My Honest Review 🌴
My stay at the Steigenberger Resort Luxor was, overall, very pleasant and offered great value for money. The hotel's general ambiance is excellent; the public areas are well-maintained, and the garden, pool, and the atmosphere by the Nile are all very comfortable. For a five-star hotel in Luxor, I believe its overall facilities and environment are quite competitive.
The room was comfortable and clean. Although some of the facilities show their age, they are still well-maintained. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, saving time when visiting attractions like Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple.
I also tried the hotel's Lebanese restaurant. The dishes were generally good, but one shrimp dish was quite disappointing. The texture of the shrimp was noticeably tough and dry after grilling, with almost no juice. It didn't live up to the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel restaurant at that price point. I don't have an issue with using frozen shrimp per se, but the key is that the final quality didn't match the price.
I reported this issue to the restaurant manager at the time, but the subsequent resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory. Given that the restaurant is not cheap and positions itself as a five-star hotel restaurant, I believe guests are willing to pay more for the ambiance and service, but they should also receive ingredient quality and culinary expertise that match the price.
However, I must give special praise to the waiter, Abdallah. His service attitude throughout the meal was excellent – enthusiastic, polite, and very patient. Even after we reported the issue with the dish, he maintained his excellent service, which prevented the overall dining experience from becoming terrible because of that one dish. His service truly deserves commendation. 👏
Putting aside the minor hiccup at the restaurant, the hotel's stay experience itself was very good. With its pleasant environment, comprehensive facilities, and great value for money, it remains a hotel I would highly recommend in Luxor. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to the quality of its dining and the details of customer complaint handling in the future, and also acknowledge employees like Abdallah who diligently serve guests. This would make the overall experience even more complete. 🌅

Guest UserI visited during the hot season, so while it was a bit of a walk to the temple, it wasn't unmanageable. I booked the most basic room, which was an interior room, but it was actually great because it wasn't hot during the day. The air conditioning was already on before check-in, so there was no stuffiness at all. My tour started early, so I requested a breakfast to-go in advance, and it came with a good variety. On the second day, I ate outdoors, and it was relaxed with a great atmosphere. The only minor annoyance was the persistent touts for horse carriages and taxis in front of the hotel.

HahahahahaluoThis is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in Egypt, even though it wasn't the most expensive. The rooms are huge and spacious, and they even come with a balcony overlooking the Nile River. All the toiletries you could need are provided, and it's conveniently located for getting around. The hotel has clearly put a lot of effort into its decor, with many ancient Egyptian paintings. The third photo shows the view of the Nile from the hotel's balcony.
