The Townhouse Manchester provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Manchester will find that the Townhouse Manchester is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is only 600m from Manchester Oxford Road Station and 14km from Manchester Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. There's plenty to do nearby, with Gay Village, Manchester City Council and Manchester | Boyce Avenue 2026 Tour all within a short distance. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"Service - nice, the staff members are very friendly and kind. I will give 4 of 5. Breakfast - they don’t have lot of variety of breakfast. But what they have is alright and taste okay. I will give 4 of 5. Location - good and bad. The good part is it is close to a lot of places. For example, art gallery, the library. So it is really good for people want a convenient travel. However, the location is very very noisy at night, and some how, our room is not sound proof enough, at Friday night, a bunch of people singing on the street with microphones at 11:30pm, and we can hear all of them (we are in fifth floor, don’t know how people in the first floor would feel about it..). Room facility - bad. It is not a 4 star hotel level. They do not provide fridge or room bar. The Tv is very old and the carpet of the hotel is very old and a bit dirty. The table and chair on the room is squeeze, and not stable. The whole room is just very old. Room clean service - good, they do the service good and in time. In general, I don’t think this should be a four star hotel - at least based on our experience. It could be a alright three star hotel and a normal two star hotel. (The picture is irrelevant - just a place in Manchester)"

"This is a very good chain hotel. We had a two-room suite, which was very spacious, clean, and quite modern. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed by an hour, but they offered us complimentary cookies. The room had an unlimited mini-bar, which was a nice bonus. There was both a shower and a bathtub, but specifically, the bathtub had no hot water. The front desk responded very quickly, called a plumber, and everything was fixed within half an hour. The location near the train station was perfect for our needs, and we had a good view of the city from our high-floor room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as it was quite sparse (lacking fish, waffles/pancakes, and more variety of vegetables and cold cuts). Otherwise, we liked everything; the front desk staff were friendly, but the restaurant staff at breakfast seemed tired. We also had dinner at the restaurant one evening and highly recommend the steaks; the dishes were amazing!"

"This was my first time staying in a Yotel and it did not disappoint. The check in process was super quick. What I loved about the stay was that on the end of each floor they had a coffee machine along hot/cold water for free. They have milk too in the fridge (no alternatives sadly). The location is good, right in the heart of deansgate just approx 8-10 minute walk to the train station and around 15 minutes to Oxford Road or Piccadilly. The hotel benefits from a bar/restaurant which seems popular, I didn’t get chance to try. The room was comfortable and internet speed good. Would definitely stay here again."

"Considering the price, which was a few hundred, and the room size, it wasn't bad. However, the standalone chair was quite dirty. Since I didn't have breakfast or use any other hotel services, to be fair, I gave four stars for everything else. Aside from the dirty chair, everything else was okay. The location is truly excellent. It's right by Oxford train station and Oxford Road, with plenty of supermarkets, Chinese supermarkets, Yang Guo Fu Malatang, Sichuan restaurants, hot pot places, and even Jiangzhehu-style noodle shops nearby. There's also a bus stop right outside the door."

"Great hotel located just a 3 min walk from Manchester Picadilly Stn. Arriving into the room I was delighted at the size of the room and bathroom. Room came equipped with a small table, sofa and two soft chairs similar to what would be called a Jnr Suite in the US. Breakfast buffet at 15 Gbp was great value and top marks for providing individual pots of yogurt in lieu of the trendy open yogurts pans that very few people use due to health concerns. Big shout out to Mathew on the front desk who managed to get me into a room prior to the formal check in time which was greatly greatly appreciated after an overnight flight from Asia. Enjoy your stay!"

"Should be quite new hotel but just like all other Manchester hotel that is quite easy to get worn down. But still acceptable, we paid £320 per night because if these event in the city. Of course for this price is not a usual price for this hotel. Bed is on the softer side but still better than many other Manchester older hotel. Staffs are all welcoming and friendly. Great location Rooms is a bit inconvenient layout, bed so close to curtains but for 1-2nights quick trip is okay. Water pressure is strong and overall clean"

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight from Manchester, and it was such a pleasant surprise! We arrived during a heatwave in the UK, stepping out of a stuffy, non-air-conditioned car feeling like we'd been in a sauna, into a wonderfully cool and air-conditioned hotel room. It was incredibly comfortable!

Outstanding hospitality and superb facilities As someone who travels frequently for business, I am used to standard hotel procedures, but the team at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel completely blew me away for this leisure stay. They responded brilliantly to our pre-arrival requests, upgrading us to a beautiful King Skyline room and adding thoughtful touches like a welcome note from the manager and complimentary drinks. The hotel’s physical assets are in top shape, the 2nd-floor pool and sauna are peaceful and high-quality, and the breakfast service was seamless despite a busy weekend. Exceptional execution by the management and front-desk team.

There is a direct bus to hotel from airport and a bus stop at 10 mins away from hotel back to airport. The walls have no stains which is nice and the bathroom is clean and tidy but the bed linen has quite a lot of stains. Some dust also appeared on the pillow and it is actually hard to spot them because of the dim lighting. The water pump is also working fine. The staff are super friendly when I forgot to bring a plug and realised that there is no USB charge spot.

The location of this property is excellent and was easily the highlight of our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues that affected our overall experience. The blackout blinds do not fully cover the windows, allowing daylight through the sides from very early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep. We initially had to change rooms due to cleanliness concerns. In the first apartment, we found some soiled items in the bathroom bin and a heavily rusted tin opener. In the second apartment, there were unpleasant smells coming from the fridge and the cupboard under the sink, and while the tin opener was in better condition than the first, it also showed signs of rust. Some areas also appeared to have been missed during cleaning, including around the fridge hinge. The biggest disappointment was the comfort. The sofa beds were uncomfortable to sit on, with the cushions constantly sliding forward. The main bed was even more disappointing. It appeared to be two beds pushed together, was noisy whenever you moved, and provided one of the poorest nights’ sleep I’ve had in accommodation. By the end of our stay I was waking up with a sore, stiff back, which was particularly frustrating as this trip was supposed to be a break after several weeks of physically demanding decorating work at home. For a bed advertised as a large double, it also felt surprisingly short. We also experienced an issue with our room key after arranging a late checkout, which meant an unnecessary trip back to reception to have it reprogrammed. Noise from furniture being dragged around in the apartment above was noticeable during our stay as well. Overall, the apartment had the facilities we needed and the location is hard to fault, but the comfort, maintenance and attention to detail fell below expectations. While I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I would think carefully before choosing to stay here again.

The room is clean and comfortable, with lots of space to store luggage and stuff. I was quite surprised to see the coffee maker and refrigerator inside the room. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

This hotel is in a great loacation, around a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and about 15 from the gig we came to see. The lady at reception was very polite and friendly which made us feel welcome even though two young goths looked a bit out of place seeing as this was obviously a hotel for business people/confrences. The room was amazing for the price and beautifully clean, there was an iron and ironing board, a desk fan and a hairdryer already in the room. The bathroom was quite spacious and had perfect lighting. Even my fussy partner said the bed was very comfortable. Would absolutely reccomend and will definitely be staying again if I'm back in Manchester.
