As nice a hotel as anyone would want to stay in while visiting Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Terrific service, clean facilities and room, an amazing bonus free onsen (hot springs), a very well equipped gym which is a bit rare in Japan and the property is located right in the middle of town next to the central train and bus stations. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood as well as a shopping centre across the road and lot's of small shops nearby. Upon first arriving, the entrance is a little tricky to locate so be sure and follow the instructions that will come with the booking confirmation.
The hotel is incredibly convenient for getting to and from Tokushima Station. The only downside is that there aren't many shops nearby for browsing, but finding places to eat is easy. The room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities, I just couldn't find a shoehorn.
Well located next to Tokushima JR station next to long distance bus terminal. It is also walking distance to the castle site where it was the Sakura blossom season. It is a quasi-service hotel but all the amenities/toiletries are placed at lobby for self-service. Room was clean and breakfast is value at ¥1600
The hotel cleanliness is superb although is classis hotel, the hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. Very convenient location and there are many amenities are within walking distance.
We traveled during the Awa Odori Festival and chose to stay at Anan because it was less crowded. This super hotel also maintained its usual high standards, with many details just right. I recommend it for self-driving tours, as parking is convenient. Special thanks to Mr. and Ms. Sugihara for their excellent service.
Quiet location, good room environment, free hot and cold drinks
But the reception is on the first floor, and it will be hard to have luggage,
But the elevator on the floor can go directly to the ground
Very very good place to stay, especially if you're in Iya. Highly recommended and it's so near iya bridge that you can drop by early while there's NOONE. But very strict on timing so 3pm check-in but you can walk around. Very good dinner and local breakfast. Room was awesome!
Just stay here, will stay here again! Onsen was good too!
The accommodation floor is on the 5th floor and there are windows to see the street view. Semi-buffet breakfast, with staple food plus bread, rice, soup, coffee, jelly, juice. Comfortable and elegant dining environment.
It is similar to domestic economical chain hotels, such as the Four Seasons Hotel, but the overall design and decoration are much more exquisite than domestic hotels of the same level.
And free parking is provided, which is definitely worth the money.

GGuest UserThe location is close to station with a plenty of food options. There is also a small shopping centre next to it.
The room itself is a decent size, you can open luggages comfortably. Amenities such as toothbrush and pajamas are provided nearby the front desk. There is a microwave downstairs for guest use and some vending machines.
The staff doesn't speak much English but they use a translator device so it is okay. We got a non smoking room but it smelled smoky, so we requested a change of room from the female staff on shift, and she was able to act on it quickly despite the language barrier. I commend the good service.
Lastly, if you're a light sleeper you may be careful because the walls are thin and you can pretty much hear anything from the hallways. Wear some earplugs and you'll be fine!

LLAUThe hotel is good value for money with hearty Japanese and basic western breakfast buffet included. Location wise, it is more convenient for car driving travellers as there is only one shopping centre nearby and no other shops or eateries within short walking distances. Room is cleaned every 3 days but clean towels are provided daily. Stop for Buses going to the Onaruto Bridge, the Naruto Whirlpool boat tours, the Otsuka Museum of Art stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel.
LLhamo Dolma HollandVery nice welcome by the owner and great stay!
The rooms is nice and clean and also the shared bathroom & restroom. The room itself was nice, clean, stylish ((Japese room)
Downstairs you can sit for a tea or coffee (free) so that’s very nice! Opposite the the guesthouse is also a convenient shop. So the location is also nice! We stayed there on the pelgrimage tour. So overall I can really recommend the small hotel! Please try it yourself! Very nice experience!
LLee DavidCame to Tokushima to participate the marathon. Hostel was located near the Tokushima JR Station, about 8 mins by foot. Nearby the hostel there are various eateries and convenience stores. The cost / performance factory is pretty high as there are breakfast provided in the morning. You can have coffee/tea or package soup plus toasted bread. Though simple butt can defining fill up your stomach if you are not a big eater.
HHappyaroundtheworldHotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended.
