GGuest UserThe facilities and environment are very new. Being a standalone hotel, it's independently operated, so there aren't many people coming and going, making it very safe and clean. The high ceilings prevent any feeling of being cramped, truly a great place to relax! The room is spacious and very clean, though it was missing a sofa. The bathroom is large, and showering is very comfortable with excellent water pressure and quick drainage. Breakfast isn't independently run by the hotel, but the variety is rich, and refills are prompt, though dairy products were missing. All the staff greet you with a smile, especially the cleaning staff who have an excellent service attitude. The price is incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely come again!

AAnonymous UserThis homestay opened last year. It is quite close to Dinghu Mountain. It is simple and stylish. The room we chose is quite large, especially the large bathroom. It feels very comfortable to use; The proprietress was very enthusiastic and introduced us to the new attractions and food around, so that our trip to Zhaoqing was very enjoyable.

GGuest UserExcellent value for the buck. The room is super spacious and very clean as it’s only 2yrs new. It is a boutique stay with un-manned check-in, we had some issue since we don’t have mainland ID card but the wechat CSR helped us obtain the room card by remoting the kiosks. The only complaint we have is the AC was underpowered for the room size, it was fine to stay in but if you need colder room temp like 18c then it can’t give you that. It’s in a new developed neighborhood, many of the residential are quite new and mostly vacant which is very common in China. The good thing is its next to the large mall, so getting the cookie cutting beverage like Changee, Heytea, and starbucks was convenience. The mall isn’t as busy as the ones closer to the old town area. If you drive its not a issue.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is spotless, with rooms that are always kept clean, comfortable, and well stocked with water, toiletries, and all the essentials. The staff are exceptionally warm and attentive — they go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and cared for throughout your stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the fresh fruits provided in my room and the mooncakes they gave me to take home.
The location is another highlight. Just across the street is a beautiful park, perfect for exercising, taking peaceful walks, or simply sitting and observing daily local life. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and charming, giving you a real sense of peace and security. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, and in the evenings, the streets come alive with small food stalls offering authentic Chinese flavors — a delightful way to experience local culture.
Overall, Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing exceeded my expectations. With its cleanliness, excellent service, welcoming staff, and ideal location, it offers both comfort and a genuine sense of connection to the community. I would absolutely love to return and stay here again.

GGuest UserThe room is fully equipped, clean, and the linens and bedding are very satisfactory – truly five-star hotel quality. Right across the road is the Star Lake scenic route, and transportation is super convenient with a bus stop right outside. It's located in the Yanqian Village area.

CclohWe stayed in a family room made up of two connected rooms, which was spacious enough for our needs, though it only had one toilet. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries nearby, making it very convenient for meals. However, on the third day of our stay, the toilet bowl became badly clogged and could not be flushed after use. The hotel did send staff up to clear the blockage, but it was still quite inconvenient, especially for a family room with only one bathroom.

BBig Boy 66I chose this place mainly because of its excellent location, right across from the Wyndham Hotel. Returning to the room at night, the 14th-floor elevator corridor was dimly lit and a bit chilly. The check-in process was clearly communicated in advance via email. The suite's decor was similar to the photos, though slightly dated. The view from the large window was indeed very nice. The next day, returning to the room, I encountered the cleaning lady who was tidying up. Strangely, she was charging her own phone with a guest charger.

GGuest UserThere was a bit of messing around with the rooms when we arrived, but in the end we stayed in the room we originally booked. The room was like a full apartment with its own conservatory area, which we thought lovely. The highlight though was the location and view just outside though, the ginormous city park right across the street. It was all beautiful, we had a lovely coffee next to the water in the sun in the morning and the owner then took us in by car to discover the city center. At the end the owner again drove us with our suitcases to the train station. We absolutely loved our stay here.
Only downside I would say were the single use towels, which first of all were not very effective, secondly a horrible waste for the environment.
(On an additional small note regarding rooms, if you fear that guests would not like the cheapest room and insist they upgrade, you’re making the impression of having misled the guest during booking. We personally would have loved it, but we’re quite surprised to have it downplayed for us on arrival that it is too small and too loud. It was not too loud and size was good, perhaps a small cleaning to the windows and an upgrade in interior design could do the place good).

The room type is rich, the member price is affordable, and the price is full. The environment is clean and comfortable, the details are intimate, and the parking is convenient. It is a good choice for travel and accommodation. It is highly recommended to everyone!

GGuest UserAlthough Zhaoqing is a lovely place the transport to reach there from Kaiping was practically nonexistent. We almost scraped the idea of visiting until we found that we could transit and change to a bus from Jiangmen. Unfortunately we also hit another hitch at the Zhaoqing bus station because there was no public transport to the 7 Star Crags area where the hotel is located. However the pretty lady owner came to the rescue and picked us up. How cool is that? The lady boss is second to none. She was extremely helpful - suggesting places for food and attractions & even the order of doing them. Definitely the best part of staying here is her.
But her Homestay is great too. It’s very well located in front of the beautiful famous lake so we’re able to capture sunset and sunrise scenes easily.
In retrospect we should have stayed at least another night. Maybe we will meet again?
