We are a family of 5 adults visiting Melaka for my mom's 96th birthday celebration with her family and friends living n Melaka. We had the family suite - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. *Reception lobby has an overwhelming smell that is disgusting. *Bathrooms: the tiles in the bathroom are moldy and falling apart with makeshift patchu. Bath towels had a funny smell and had seen better days. We had no choice but to replace the while towels with the blue-striped pool towels. * Kitchen - a skeleton setup with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Basic amenities like one would expect in a kitchen such as stovetop, dish washing liquid, kitchen hand towels, crockery and utensils are missing. The microwave is filthy. We have to use the white hand towels that guests would normally use in the bathroom to dry our hands in the kitchen. We had to request room service to clean the filthy microwave, provide plates and utensils for us to eat out take-out food, along with dish washing liquid to wash our dirty dishes. Pictures speak a thousand words. Hotel is connected to a Mall - Shore that is deserted. Foot traffic is at its all time low. Mall is dimly lit ... a HUGE contrast to AEON. I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry.

Nestled within the Citywalk, right next to The Shore Hotel and Residence, I stumbled upon this hidden gem – a secret pathway tucked away amidst the concrete jungle. It was not just a feast for the eyes but a wellspring of inspiration, captivating me and sparking creativity. Stepping onto this path felt like instantly entering a vibrant landscape painting. Lush greenery lined both sides, with towering trees forming a natural canopy that gently filtered the intense sunlight, leaving dappled light dancing on the red path below. The air was fresh and the temperature pleasant; even on a scorching summer day, a refreshing coolness permeated the area, uplifting the spirit. The winding red path harmonized beautifully, sketching a poetic route. As I walked along, a clear stream gurgled softly beside me, its gentle flow soothing to the ear. Occasionally, a few fallen leaves drifted with the current, adding to the serene and elegant atmosphere. **Vintage Streetlights Illuminate the Way Back** Along the path, vintage-style streetlights stood quietly. They weren't just guides at night but unique features during the day. Their design exuded a nostalgic charm, imbuing the entire path with a sense of 'warmth' and romance. Imagine when dusk falls and these lights are illuminated, casting a soft glow on the path, interweaving with the dancing shadows of the trees – what a dreamlike spectacle that would be! Though my busy work schedule prevented me from experiencing the night scenery, the daytime ambiance alone was enough to convey its unique allure. Strolling along, with the gentle sound of water and birdsong in my ears and the ever-changing greenery and light before my eyes, my mind and body completely relaxed, and my thoughts broadened. Whether I was brainstorming new stories or seeking creative breakthroughs, this path provided an excellent space for contemplation. It allowed me to momentarily forget the city's hustle and bustle, return to inner peace, and better capture those fleeting sparks of inspiration. **An Urban Gem Not to Be Missed** Recommendation Index: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Recommended for:** City dwellers seeking tranquility, creative travelers, photography enthusiasts, families with children, and couples on a date. **Best Time to Visit:** Early morning or late evening, when the light is soft, and there are fewer people, allowing for a more profound experience of its serene beauty. On the morning of March 4th, after a rain shower, the air was even fresher, and the greenery more vibrant. **Helpful Tips:** * The path is flat, suitable for walking and jogging. * Wear comfortable shoes. * Bring a camera to capture the beautiful scenery. * Keep the environment clean and protect nature. Though I missed the dazzling night view, this daytime path, with its unique tranquility, warmth, and natural beauty, has become an irreplaceable source of inspiration for me. If you, too, long for a haven in the city where your soul can rest and your thoughts can soar, then come and take a stroll here; I believe you'll fall in love with it too. ****** **The Shore Hotel and Residence's breakfast is highly recommended; you can enjoy it until noon.** One of the major highlights of choosing this hotel is its sumptuous breakfast. The restaurant offers a wide array of authentic Malaysian local delicacies, such as Nasi Lemak, various curries, fried noodles, and fried rice, allowing international guests to experience local flavors in one go, and satisfying local diners as well. What's particularly commendable is that breakfast is served until almost noon, giving guests ample time to enjoy a leisurely and fulfilling brunch without rushing. Furthermore, the diverse selection of dishes ensures that even after three consecutive days, your plate can always feature new combinations, preventing any sense of monotony.

This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.

I recently stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Melaka and within walking distance to major attractions, shopping malls, and Jonker Street. It made getting around very convenient without needing much transportation. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and all the amenities were well-maintained and in good working condition. I especially enjoyed the nice city view from the room. The hotel facilities were also impressive, including the swimming pool, gym, and rooftop area, which offered a great place to relax. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and the food was enjoyable. Despite the crowd, the overall experience was still smooth. Service was good as well—staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Check-in and check-out processes were hassle-free. Overall, everything was good, and I had a very satisfying stay. I would definitely consider coming back again on my next visit to Melaka.

I stayed at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka, Room 0059, from 8/2/2026 to 9/2/2026. The room itself was good, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool is huge and very family-friendly. The food selection was generally good with a decent variety. However, the major letdown was the electricity issue, which seriously affected our stay. Our room and block experienced a blackout for a few minutes at night. Worse, while we were sleeping, the electricity kept tripping 3–4 times. Each time this happened, the air-conditioning turned off. My children were sleeping and woke up sweating due to the heat. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Other issues: • The prayer mat provided in the room had a bad smell and clearly needed to be washed or replaced. • During breakfast, the putu mayam was served with grated coconut that had turned sour. • During checkout, the lobby was extremely crowded with a large group of people standing around. It felt very congested and uncomfortable, especially with families and children trying to move around. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and strong potential, but the repeated electricity disruptions and poor crowd management during checkout need urgent improvement to ensure guest comfort.

Booked a room with 2 king beds for a 2 night stay w my family. Pros : 1. Spacious room size 2. Comfy beds 3. Beautiful view (we could see the entire city and our window was facing towards sea) 4. Free Parking 5. 10-15 mins walking distance to the River Cruise 6. No problems with lifts. Just some additional notes for travellers : (If) you don’t want room service to clean your rooms bc you don’t mind reusing your towels, you will not be able to receive the complimentary water bottles. For families with cars, (if) you need to travel back and forth between the hotel and outside, you will always need to stop by the lobby counter to validate your carpark ticket in order to get free parking and it’s only valid for 15 minutes (more than enough time).

My stay was perfect as this hotel have all these: 1. ample parking space just infront of the hotel 2. spacious room with ironboard, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee and drinking water 3. big bathroom with toothbrush, body wash, shampoo towel, face towel and toilet with bidet 4. hotel breakfast if purchased with room was good and compliments to the chef also the service assistant rahman was efficient. 5. checking in and out was fast.

MITC Hotel Melaka offers a comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, although slightly small. It is suitable for solo travellers or short stays. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, especially for those attending events at MITC. Overall, it’s a decent choice for business trips or solo travel in Melaka.

The hotel overall is great, me and my family had good experience there. The rooms are spacious and nice; however, I do expect a larger space for family suite, but the balcony is large. Complementary parking was given, the car park was a bit doggie to be frank. One of the greatest highlights for us is the kids playground and kids club. It was huge and nice, my kid has awesome time there. Swimming pool is rather small for the size of the hotel though. As for the hotel breakfast buffet, well, it was not to our preference. Too much of western, and the taste was far from delicious. Would suggest to add a bit more local delights eg Malay kuih. Overall a good experience.

The hotel is in a great location and very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and well maintained, making the stay comfortable. However, the breakfast could be improved with more variety. In addition, the egg station is located outside the main breakfast area, which can be a little inconvenient for guests. It would be better if the egg station could be placed inside the breakfast area. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.
