"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport, and the hotel is located in a quiet suburban area. However, getting to the city center takes about half an hour by car. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, well-maintained, and comfortable, as it just opened in 2026. The service was excellent! I would definitely consider staying here again!"

"It was my first ever stay with any Ibis hotel. There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel which is convenient. They say that check in is available after 15:00 but they let us use the room before 14.:00. The room was good but the central AC was not working there so we upgraded the room in €15 for two nights to their AC room. Although they do mention at the booking that the room will have AC/heating. But the system was not working as they said due to repair so for our ease we upgraded our room. They did offer a great price for an upgrade which is good. I enjoyed their breakfast as well which was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of the place was amazing and we had a really good sleep."

"Our room was likely upgraded, and it was absolutely fantastic. It made our 15th wedding anniversary even more special. The water pressure was excellent, but the hairdryer seemed broken; it would stop after a while, and I'd have to turn it off and wait before using it again. Also, there's construction going on near the hotel, which is right by the station, but we had to take a detour that added about 15 minutes to the walk. Without the construction, it probably would have been just 3 minutes. That would have been even better, but overall, it was a wonderful stay."

"Clean hotel close to the airport. Airport shuttle is very convenient, no need to book when going to the hotel and only 5euros each person if going to the airport, very convenient. The shuttle drivers were very nice and helpful. Overall front desk staff were nice. Rooms and facilities were clean and modern. The train station is about 10 minutes walk away through a field and up a flight of stairs which would be ok if you do not have heavy luggage. I did not have breakfast here"

"I stayed at Citizenm Schiphol Hotel during my layover to my trip to Bogota. In general, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated right next to the airport. There is no need to take any kind of transportation from the airport at all, just 7minutes walk from arrivals. The room and common areas were really beautiful and tidy. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities. Breakfast is included with great options. Overall, it is great value for money and a good hotel for a layover."

"Bonjour, I really wanted to thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. I had a wonderful day before checking into the hotel. I wasn't aware that a €150 payment was required on arrival, but I was fortunate enough to speak with the manager and explain the situation, which allowed us to find a solution. I must say, your apartment is simply magnificent. I felt very comfortable there and would gladly return if the opportunity arises. "The hostel is conveniently located, with a bus stop just a two to three-minute walk away. It's also not far from the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, about a ten-minute walk. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and have a good attitude. Less positive experiences: 1. The room is quite small; there's hardly any space left after putting down luggage. 2. Cleanliness needs improvement. There were visible dirty marks on the duvet cover (picture 3), many small spots on the carpet (picture 5), and ants on the room walls and bed (picture 7). 3. There is no kettle. 4. The balcony is shared among several rooms (picture 8), and the room has no openable windows. If the balcony door is closed, the air doesn't circulate, but leaving it ajar feels unsafe. 5. Information displayed on the website platform is inconsistent with reality. For example, it shows 'laundry service' (picture 9), but the hostel actually doesn't have a laundry room for guests. They only provide addresses of external laundromats for guests to take their clothes to themselves."

The location was a bit further than I expected. It took me about 10 minutes of walking from the nearest tram station, but my luggage were not too heavy so it's not a big problem to me. The price was also affordable and reasonable among most of the hotels I found in Amsterdam. Although it is a little far from central Amsterdam, it's not too complicated to go there using public transport, as you only need to get on one tram and one metro. The room was quite small, but the bed was super large for 2 people, and everything was so clean. I also received good service there even though it was a bit late (11.30pm).

Stayed on the 2nd floor and the room was good size for 2 people. Room was clean and the showers area was quite spacious. The bed and pillows were to soft for me. The only let down was the view from the windows, directly opposite another hotel bedroom windows which was like 6ft away. If you like good views then I suggest asking for room with view or pay the extra, as we got the premium king room. Breakfast was just average, nothing fancy but enough for quick bite. The receptionists were all polite & friendly. I would recomemd this hotel and especially if you would like a Central area to stay in Amsterdam.

This hotel is a convenient option for those who want to stay near Amsterdam but don't want to pay city prices. Getting there is very easy; it's just one Sprinter train stop outside the city center, and then an easy walk from the station to the hotel. The area around the hotel has plenty of amenities, with both a Spar and Jumbo supermarket nearby, making it very convenient to buy food, drinks, or essential items. However, one issue slightly dampened the overall experience: a scarf went missing in the hotel lobby and was not recovered, even after inquiring with the hotel. Therefore, I recommend keeping a close eye on your personal belongings in common areas. Overall, it's a hotel with convenient transport links, a good location, and plenty of shops nearby, but it's advisable to be more careful with your personal items and belongings.

The hotel is 7 min walk to tram station and 50 min to Central.  The best part of the hotel was free parking and had a charging point.  The hotel rooms were spacious and super clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable.  Smooth check in process

Overall experience was great, one of the late morning check-in male staff was really welcoming and even upgraded me to a higher floor with a fantastic view of the river. But since the checkin is 3pm, when I got back, another burlier guy got us our keys but was way too serious and sombre. It's fine but a smile would go a long way. One tiny irk was the lack of bedroom slippers in a carpeted room. I feel it should be basic. And this is the one time I didn't bring a just-in-case pair and i was caught out. Anyway, location is good, tram connection to the Centraal Station just across the street or a 10min walk.

The hotel is a modern design not far from the airport. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. In our short stay here during our connection in Amsterdam wasn’t the best. In the room there was quite a bit of background noise causing me and my friend to not be able to get to sleep for a kind while. I turned off the climate control and even removed the card to shut off the electric for the room and there was still a buzzing noise in the background. Upon check in I asked if we could get a wake up call and were told the phones don’t work so just set an alarm on your phone. I also asked if there was a shuttle service to the airport you could avail of as it’s only 10/15 minutes drive and he said no and to just book a taxi on my phone. I found the worker a bit rude. The hotel is a nice vibe has a Nespresso professional machine which provided a lovely coffee during check in but I’d recommend earplugs for your sleep

Great location - short walk to the Muiderpoort station and a 5 mins train ride into Amsterdam Centraal! For the price, the accomodation was very reasonable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. House keeping comes by everyday so you always have a clean room and towels. A fridge in the room is also very handy. Staff are there 24/7 and very helpful.  The walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbours you can hear everything, so it could be annoying!  Overall, great stay in Amsterdam!

The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the train station and all the main attractions. Both the hotel and the room were spotless and didn't have any strange smells, which was great. The only minor downside was that the music from nearby bars could be a bit loud at night.

Overall, this hotel is quite similar to hotels in Japan – clean, but definitely on the smaller side. The shower stall barely fits one person. However, the views and location are excellent; it's literally just 50 meters from the station's ticket gate, incredibly convenient. It's generally clean, and right across from Amsterdam's city center. The Wi-Fi is also very fast. The Ibis across the street was a bit cheaper and also very close, but I read online that there was a chance of being assigned to a basement room, so I opted for this one instead. The Red Light District is less than a kilometer away, and there's even a Uniqlo right in front. The downside, as shown in the pictures (if provided), is that the special single queen room has two connecting doors to the adjacent room, and they weren't locked upon check-in, which was a bit alarming. After I reported it to the front desk, they locked it. Good thing it was closed, as I heard the people next door trying to open it a few times that night, curious about the door.
