Hotels With Parking in Shanxi, China

When traveling to Yuncheng, I chose Weiyuan Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is right across from the airport, within walking distance, and offers free shuttle service to/from the airport and high-speed rail station. The room facilities are new, the bedding is soft, and there's a large projector. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, and the front desk staff warmly provided souvenirs. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yuncheng!

Overall, the service was quite good. There was a minor issue with the water temperature dropping, but the hotel's recovery measures were effective. They promptly upgraded our room and the service generally kept up, so I'd give it a good rating. The hotel looks stunning at night when it's lit up, and there are many diners, so parking spots are usually full. It's super close to Wuyi Square, and a stroll in the evening felt really nice. Hotel guests also get free access to the adjacent Chunyang Palace, which is a nice bonus. Though not large, it's quite distinctive and worth a 30-minute visit.

The room types are varied, and the main thing is that the front desk lady's attitude and service were excellent. The value for money is also good, located near Parkson with a shopping mall, making it easy to get a taxi. It would be even better if the hygiene could be improved a bit. I'll definitely visit again if I need to next time.

We enjoyed our stay at Mercury hotel and were particularly impressed by how friendly and accommodating the entire hotel staff was. The hotel breakfast buffet was undoubtedly the highlight. There was a great selection of hot and cold items to choose from. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. It was the perfect way to start our day.

The room was spotless, and the service was incredibly attentive and excellent. Upon arrival, I was personally escorted to my room, where everything was patiently explained to me. Breakfast is included, and the set menu offers a rich variety of food, ensuring a balanced and nutritious meal. The guesthouse's location is superb, right within the ancient city, making it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, my stay was fantastic!

This hotel is almost next to the airport terminal, super convenient for early morning flight. It is clean and service is excellent. Manager on duty - Han, Yueliu helped arrange a room in the main buidling, which is what I preferred. Everything went well. Will stay here again next time when I come back.

The service provided by Xiao Yang at the front desk was very good, I liked it very much, the room facilities were complete and the environment was very good 👌 I will choose InterContinental Hotel again when I come back from Mount Wutai next time. Even though the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, the service and food are absolutely on point! The breakfast was the absolute highlight! Seriously, you're missing out by not promoting it more! The knife-cut noodles (better than any chain restaurant – get the original flavor, trust me!) are a must-try. The tofu vermicelli, kuailai (a local dish), and lamb offal vermicelli are all pretty much on par with what you'd find at good to excellent local restaurants. All the side dishes are quite refined and the ingredients are top-notch. For example, the stir-fried bok choy had very few stems and was incredibly tender! The broccoli and baby corn were also very refreshing! The variety is excellent, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties. Noodles are made fresh on the spot. It really met my expectations for a high-end hotel breakfast. Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are indeed a bit dated. Cleanliness: I prefer to wipe things down with my own wipes, but it all seemed pretty clean. Environment: Close to the ancient city and Parkson (a department store), the surroundings are nice, but room soundproofing is just okay. Service: Warm and attentive. Single bathhouse ticket: A Northern-style public bath. Late-night congee service: Didn't try it, no delivery available.

A very pleasant stay at the Pipa Old Inn. A very historical building, though the place is equipped with all necessary modern amenities save for an elevator. Fortunately the staff very helpful assisted us with lugging up our heavy luggage to our room on the 3rd floor. Very beautifully decorated and strategically located in the heart of Datong Ancient City. Very pleasant and helpful staff who helped us plan and arrange our trips around Datong though sadly, they weren't very proficient in English (but that's common in China). Free breakfast was included in our stay and there was a decent spread though the menu didn't change much over our stay there save for one or two vegetable dishes being rotated. Overall definitely worth a return trip and stay in Datong Ancient City.

My stay at Yunzhong Chaoran Pavilion (Qiuguo Hotel) was extremely satisfying! 👍 This newly renovated hotel boasts impressive, grand solid wood furniture. It's spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel offers its own underground parking (just turn right after Fuyuan Restaurant to enter the garage), which was incredibly convenient. It's about a 7-minute walk to the ancient city's commercial street, yet the hotel itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The ambiance is beautifully characteristic of Shanxi, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied – I even took a few photos! I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Datong!
