Hotels With Parking in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan

Right next to Kumamoto Station, which is super convenient for catching JR trains and buses without rushing. Inside Kumamoto Station, there's a tourist information center where you can ask questions, and across from it is the JR ticket office for exchanging tickets. There's also the Higo Market with restaurants, a supermarket, and a convenience store, plus plenty of souvenir options. Below the hotel is a shopping mall with a good selection of dining and retail. I even saw a rainbow 🌈 on the first morning of my stay!

Shopping centre with many food options. Tramway A and B 3 minutes walking.Take line A to the train station. The best one: you can send a postcard for free to your loved ones. Didn't try the breakfast.

The hotel employees all of them were showed a good attitude and communication was no problem for foreigners. The location is great — it’s close to Kumamoto Castle, and there’s a shopping mall just about a 10-minute walk away. I made a reservation for a triple room for two nights. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioner could not adjust the airflow direction, which caused us to catch a cold. One more thing, the room key had to be returned and kept at the counter whenever we went out for the day.

Very nice hotel. We planned to parked at the hotel but the staff suggested a cheaper parking lot nearby with only 1200 yen for one day (until 11am which is check out time). The check-in was smooth. There is a self service machine, but we went for check in with the staff. They were very polite. As for check out, you just need to put the card into the machine, and that’s it, super convenient. The bed was comfortable too. Toothbrush, toothpaste, hair wash, conditioner, shower gel, clothes (on the bed in the picture), electric kettle were provided as well. You can use hot or cold water from the tap directly. Grids hotel’s location is strategic too. There’s a mall and eateries in a walking distance. Recommended!

The location is superb. After arriving at Kumamoto Airport, you can take the airport bus to 'Kamitori' and the hotel is right there. It's in the heart of Kumamoto city, directly opposite a classic department store with Kumamoto-themed products, perfect for shopping. The tram stop is just a short walk away, offering easy access to the JR station and various attractions. The commercial pedestrian street is right next door, making it incredibly convenient for finding food every day. From my room window, I could see Kumamoto Castle. The room was clean, and I was especially pleased with the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Although the hotel is a bit old, the rooms have been renovated, and the air conditioning is very powerful. Upon entering the room, there was a faint scent of disinfectant, which made me feel very assured about the cleanliness – typical of an established Japanese brand. You can tell the hallway carpets are old, but there was no musty smell, so I was satisfied with the hygiene. Next time I visit Kumamoto, I'll definitely stay here again. It's just too convenient!

I'd definitely stay here again just for their breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious! The location is fantastic too, just one intersection away from Kumamoto Sakuramachi and very close. It's also super close to Kumamoto Castle; I walked there. The walking path around Kumamoto Castle is really peaceful, which I loved. This was my first hotel in Japan, and the front desk service was excellent, with very sweet staff. It was quite surprising to see guests queuing for check-in automatically keeping a meter apart. However, I wasn't entirely satisfied with some stains on the room carpet and a bit of grime on the soap dish in the bathroom, not sure if it was old age or poor cleaning. The water stains on the faucet and bathtub weren't wiped clean either. On the TV, you could see the current status of the hotel's laundry room. The bed was very comfortable as well. I'm not sure if other rooms are like this, but I feel that if you encounter such issues, you should be able to switch rooms.

Love this hotel. Location is fantastic. Just next to the Kumamoto train, tram and bus station. Booked the lifestyle room, with 2 double bed and a sofa bed for 3 adults and comes with access to 4th floor for unlimited liquor, soft drinks, juice, tea, nuts and instant noodles. However, orange juice ran out on 3rd day and dispenser dispense super diluted juice. Anyway small matter. Toilet area is big (comparing to Japan standard), with split toilet, bathroom, wash basin, wardrobe and change area. Interestingly with see-through bathroom door. However, you can lock the entire toilet access. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Price is also reasonable.

The hotel is very accessible. It is inside the mall. The bus terminal going to airport is just underneath. So many restaurants and there is a family mart too. The hotel is new and as expected is not so spacious but the breakfast is good and staff are really accommodating. Highly recommended this hotel if you are traveling to Kumamoto. Kumamoto castle is just 15mins walked while Shimotori Shopping Center is just 5-10mins away. We are also very lucky to witness their festival since the parade happened around the area. The Great Festival of Fujisaki Hachimangu Shrine (or Zuibyo Festival), held every September. Its so fun🥰🥰

I booked a family room for four. While the hallway was long and narrow, the room itself was quite spacious, and it was comfortable for three people without feeling cramped. The bottled water provided in the room had cute packaging, and the soba noodles served during late-night supper were also tasty. My only issue is that the entire hotel requires guests to remove their shoes upon entry. For such a large space, it's hard to guarantee absolute hygiene, and seeing some guests walk barefoot on the floor made me a bit uncomfortable. It would be better if the lobby could provide indoor slippers after shoe removal. The hotel's cafeteria offered a decent variety of food with a home-cooked taste. It was quite crowded, but everyone was orderly. The outdoor hot spring in the public bathhouse had virtually no view; it was very ordinary and lacked any special features, feeling more like a regular hot water pool. It also tended to get crowded, so you'd have to go very early or very late to find it less busy. Although there were free popsicles, comics, and a fresh milk vending machine outside the bathhouse's lounge, the area was small and constantly crowded in the evening, so I just took a quick look and returned to my room. The hotel's location is decent, very close to the shopping street. There's a very popular ramen shop across the street that you could try, but I found the taste to be just average.

This hotel provided an amazing experience! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk to both the business district and the tram station. While the room was compact, it was fully equipped, and the smart toilet and bathtub were exceptionally comfortable. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and they efficiently guided me through the self-check-in process. Housekeeping was meticulous every day, ensuring the bedding was clean and soft. The surrounding area boasts numerous convenience stores and izakayas, and the breakfast offered a unique touch. Overall, it's superb value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again!
