This hotel is located right within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, seamlessly blending in with its attractions. At first glance, you might even mistake it for one of the old mansions! The 'Fuzhou' stone at the entrance and the walls covered in firecracker flowers draw plenty of people for photos.
They offer exclusive, special services: delicate snacks, fresh fruit, and a warming, small alcoholic drink.
**Room Facilities**: The rooms are entirely Chinese-style. The elegant peony mural above the bed, symbolizing 'spring filling the garden,' and the black-themed furniture are arranged very comfortably.
**Value for Money**: Overall, Fuzhou hotel prices offer good value. Coming back from Chaozhou, the difference in room quality for the same price is quite significant, so I think the value here is really high.
**Breakfast**: Served at the restaurant directly opposite. While the variety isn't huge, it includes local specialties like oyster omelets and 'Laohua' (a local noodle soup). I heard it used to be at another Michelin-starred restaurant – I hope they can switch back to that one next time!
**Bed**: Large and comfortable.
**Hygiene**: Clean.
**Parking**: There's a dedicated parking lot, but since the entire scenic area has stone slab paths, pushing a suitcase is a bit inconvenient. Also, cars can't reach the hotel entrance directly, so you have to walk a bit. Our driver wasn't familiar with the area, which led to a longer detour, making it quite inconvenient.
**Room View**: Opening the wooden lattice windows, you see ancient, quaint surrounding walls.
**Location & Transportation**: Right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For going out, entering from Tonghu Road is more convenient.
**Service**: I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The uncle at the door carried all my luggage to the room and gave very detailed instructions and explanations. I even thought he was the owner! [Thumbs Up] The most thoughtful touch was the preserved plums – they were quite tasty. However, on the second day, the uncle only placed my luggage outside. If it could have been taken all the way to the roadside, I think the service would have been even more exceptional.
**Bathroom Facilities**: Bright and spotless, with a powerful shower.
The hotel's facilities and decor are all very ancient and elegant, exuding a tranquil charm. Looking at the large koi, I feel like I could spend an entire day just in the hotel.
Enjoy the amenities in the hotel. Clean, spacious with beautiful 360 degree city view and good services.
The hotel provides nutritional breakfast. Add to our surprises, the hotel provides nutritional light meals with double boiled soup for lunch and dinner free.
We will come back to stay at Lux Cabins hotel. Thank you!

Impressed by Wuyi, the most beautiful椿泊. The hotel is nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the action, built right along the creek. It's a pleasant walk to Song Street and Sangu Food Street. The Song Dynasty aesthetic blends seamlessly with the Wuyi Mountain landscape, creating an infinitely enchanting view. What truly stands out are the hotel staff; every single one is genuinely warm and friendly, offering prompt and thoughtful service with a sweet smile. I'll definitely be back here again!

I stayed at the Langham during the Chinese New Year holiday because it's pet-friendly. Even though it's been open for a while, the hotel is really well-maintained, which shows that the Hong Kong-funded company still upholds high standards. The bathrooms and other areas were very clean. After check-in, they promptly delivered pet supplies to the room. The service was excellent throughout my two-night stay; any requests were immediately addressed and resolved. The room had great soundproofing. Breakfast was decent. They even gave me a complimentary room upgrade! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose the Langham again if I come back to Xiamen.

Staying here over Chinese New Year wasn't a great experience, and overall, I wouldn't recommend it. We booked mountain view rooms in the Xinyue Building, hoping for more comfort as we were traveling with elderly family and children. However, they couldn't even put our two rooms on the same floor, and both rooms had partial views. The second-floor room didn't even have a garden view 😟.
**Facilities:** Just look at the plant by the bathroom sink (as shown in the picture) – it's so dirty, yet they haven't replaced it, which shows the hotel's lack of attention to detail. We also found items left by previous guests in the corner of the sofa, indicating poor cleaning. The room's blackout curtains don't work well; you have to pull them extremely tight in the middle to block out light. All dining and activities are in the Tianfeng Building, and it's quite an inconvenient, winding walk from the new building. The room included an afternoon tea, which was a buffet with selections similar to breakfast.
**Environment:** This is probably the only redeeming quality – it's very close to the scenic area and commercial street. However, during Chinese New Year, fireworks and firecrackers went off all night until midnight, so if you're a light sleeper, don't come here during this period.
**Service:** The dining service was generally a bit chaotic. One evening, we had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, and the paper menu they gave us had already been used by someone else. We understand hotels want to save money, so we marked our selections clearly and confirmed them with the staff, making sure they didn't mix up our order with the previous guest's. After ordering, we weren't given a bill to confirm our selections. Sure enough, our food eventually came out wrong! They added dishes from the previous guest's order to ours. After we pointed it out, they corrected it, but not once did they apologize. The staff members were also stone-faced, as if we were in the wrong 🥲. We understand it's busy during Chinese New Year, and mistakes happen, but that level of service attitude is just ridiculous. We've stayed in many hotels during holidays, but never encountered anything like this.
**Hotel Activities:** For the parent-child activities, you have to choose between sugar painting and paper cutting, and you need to leave a five-star review on a popular app to participate. This is the first time I've seen a hotel demand a good review in such a way. These activities are also in the Tianfeng Building, and if we hadn't stumbled upon them ourselves, we wouldn't have even known they existed.

Firstly, the front desk service was very warm and welcoming. Plus, there's a free shuttle service to the airport. Just book in advance, and they'll take you there.
Hotel location: It's 2 km from the airport and 1 km from the subway station. It's a bit further from the North High-Speed Rail Station.
The hotel layout is like a typical budget hotel. It's pretty good.
The hygiene and all other aspects were clean and tidy.
The value for money is incredibly good. The price was just over a hundred yuan. A pleasant surprise!
Regarding the service, there was a minor issue in the middle, but the hotel quickly arranged a room change. This deserves praise! I stayed in a room with an inner window. There was virtually no noise. It was quiet, perfect for someone like me who doesn't sleep very well.
I checked in quite late and left early the next morning. I didn't take any photos, but it was genuinely good!
The hotel was clean and tidy, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I happened to catch the opening of the supermarket next door, which made driving in and out a bit inconvenient. This time, breakfast exceeded my expectations; there was a wide variety, and the food tasted great. I recommend strengthening the inspection and maintenance of doors and windows. When I first entered the room, one window couldn't close completely. After I managed to fix it myself, it finally closed properly, sealing out noise. The door lock also felt a bit loose.
As a new hotel, Longjiang years are too treasured! The whole service was intimate to foul, the staff took the initiative to help with luggage, detailed introduction of facilities, the demand response was super fast, even when the hot springs were intimately reminded of the time, there was no rusty feeling of the new hotel. The facilities are all new configurations, the intelligent guest control in the room is super convenient, the big bedding is soft and comfortable, and the window is the Jiulong River view; Outdoor more than 30,000 Pingyuan Garden Hot Springs are hidden in green plants, more than a dozen themed pools are full of privacy, as well as heated swimming pools, gyms, parent-child paradises and libraries, whether alone or with a baby can enjoy. The buffet is even more abundant, seafood, ancient early snacks one-stop punch card, with a great location near the ancient city, really a brand new resort with eyes closed and no thunder! The key point is to praise Xiaoye classmates, there is really a question and answer,
The front desk service was excellent. The young lady on duty at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was also very nice. The hotel even offers a shuttle service from the station – absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

This guesthouse stay was an absolute delight! From the moment I booked, the customer service was incredibly patient in answering my questions, and the host gave a warm welcome upon check-in. The whole experience felt very thoughtful and personalized.
The guesthouse's location is excellent – just a five-minute walk from the metro station, making it super convenient to get to nearby attractions and shopping areas. Coming back at night also felt very safe. The room decor was incredibly cozy; you can tell the host put a lot of effort into it. The soft furnishings were exquisite and stylish, perfect for photos. The bedding was clean and comfortable, ensuring a super sound sleep, and the bathroom was spotless. Even the toiletries were brand-name, which was a nice reassurance.

GGuest UserDa Fang Ju offers an elegant, clean environment with attentive service and all the little amenities you could need. The food is delicious, especially their bamboo shoot and pork buns – so fresh and generously portioned! The cats in the pet area are also incredibly cute. I hope to visit again next time. This guesthouse is highly recommended.
XXizhishuiWe chose this guesthouse called Yuqing because of a golden shaded dog named Tangyuan. We heard it was a converted Qing Dynasty house, run by only a father and son, yet their warmth and hospitality were evident in every review. Since it was the off-season, the guesthouse wasn't full, and the owner immediately upgraded us to a room with a courtyard for free. Sitting in the courtyard was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. We stayed for three days, and every morning Tangyuan would come to play with us. The owner was incredibly attentive and helpful, even inviting us for tea. He was so kind; even my dad said we had a very comfortable stay. 🌸
BBaiMaWangziI traveled to Xiamen during the Chinese spring service with my dog and took a day trip to Kinmen Island, Taiwan, just off the coast.
This hotel was in fact an apartment building with several management companies renting out rooms on various floors. Overall the building was in a horrendous state of disrepair.
Initially, the front desk tried to put me into a room on the sixth floor which looked like a scene from a horror movie... Stains on floor, walls, dirt and garbage everywhere....I asked if this is the same room I booked and another female staff member moved me to the 9 th floor which was at least clean and updated, in the hall. The room was ok, and bed comfortable, but I've never stayed in a hotel that put sheets directly on the mattress without a minimal pad between... Luckily no bed bugs.
The room had 3 out of 8 working lightbulbs so it was very dark. The heater didn't warm up the room even at max level running all day.
Everything was old and dingy... Nothing like the photos
I had no TV or Internet service the first day until I asked for it to be repaired.
Overall, no maintenance is the problem.. But at least the woman at the front desk was helpful and kind
That only real redeeming quality of the room was the view... But the window was so dirty, it was mostly obscured.
EErererererererererererereryeOur little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent!
The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

GGuest UserWhat a unique experience! There were freshly cut mango cups and unique horned melons everywhere on the roadside. The mango chunks were large, plump, sweet, and bursting with juice. Taking a bite after getting tired from walking around on the beach instantly revived me! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was super soft, and the soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from outside. The location is super convenient, close to attractions and shopping areas, making it very easy to get around. Five-star review!
GGuest UserThe staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent.
The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement.
In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special.
Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.
GGuest UserLocated at the end of Nanmen Bay, on the upper left of Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Area, the room we stayed in has no noise mirrors and looks like it is in the scenic area. The super invincible sea view, we can take postcard-like photos on our own private balcony. In terms of geographical location, other B&Bs or hotels on Dongshan Island may really not be able to compare with his home. In terms of the luxury of the room, many B&Bs I have stayed in in China are really not on the same level as his home. The decoration in the room is simple but high-end, and many equipment and furniture are imported (so although the room fee has been collected, pre-authorization is still required). His shower room is one of the few hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in in China that will not leak. The projector also has a high-definition picture. There are many snacks in the room. Basically, you don’t want to go out when you stay in the room, because the beautiful sea view can make you lie on the rocking chair on the balcony for an afternoon. It’s really a bit like our vacation in Seychelles or Six Senses Yao Noi.
Because it is relatively hidden, it is a little far from the parking and commercial areas (many restaurants are in this area), and the owner of the B&B will drive a battery car to pick you up. The B&B is not far from the only remaining ancient street in Dongshan, and there are many snack shops and small restaurants on the ancient street. Go to the lower left after leaving the B&B, and you will see many piers where fishing boats are moored after passing the Fengdongshi ticket office. The more famous Fish Ball Grandma on the island is nearby. His Liufu fish balls, peanut sesame cakes and meat dumplings are delicious.
The B&B does not provide breakfast, but you can take it out, which is not inconvenient.
The main thing here is the high-end rooms and the unbeatable sea view. The most important thing is that dogs are also welcome. My two short legs also like it here very much.

GGuest UserThis time we chose to stay inside the scenic area. The hotel was well-equipped and very quiet. I was initially worried about mosquitoes, but we didn't even need to use mosquito coils! Our room was upgraded and even more comfortable. After hiking in the evening, we were a bit tired and didn't want to go out for dinner, so the hotel specially prepared a dinner for us, including Hong Kong-style salt-baked chicken! All four of us were very satisfied!
QQingshixiaoluerThe room was very clean, big, and the air conditioning was very powerful.
The location was just opposite the Tulou Prince
The proprietress personally took us to Tulou Prince and told us the story of his family, which was more vivid than the regular tour guide's explanation. You could hear the pride from her family.
The proprietress took a lot of photos for us, and the scene was amazing.
The boss was also very enthusiastic.
EEmily YingThis homestay is superb for me and my family member from Malaysia. The location is great and the pin location is accurate is u grab car from Didi.
This homestay can grab Didi anytime. The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay.
