Lovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

The location is also fantastic, right above Taiyuan Street Pedestrian Street and very close to Zhongshan Square. For those interested in a morning market, the Bayi Morning Market is just across from Bayi Park, a short taxi ride away (minimum fare). There's also a self-service bento box place across the street if you're looking for a good value meal.

We stayed in the off-season and the standard twin room was 95 yuan a night, which was really too cheap. A hotel of this level in Dalian would cost at least 270 or 280 yuan. The hotel is only seven or eight minutes' walk from the Broken Bridge. It really has a superior geographical location and parking is available at the door. My stay at Guomen Zhenxuan was absolutely fantastic, definitely five stars! The hotel's location is superb; it's just a 1-minute walk to the entrance of the Yalu River Broken Bridge scenic area. No need to rush in the morning, and when you're tired, you can just pop back to your room to rest. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easy to hail, making trips to the city center, commercial districts, or stations very convenient. The facilities are also top-notch. The room had everything we needed, including a fridge and a hairdryer. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plus a smart toilet. Downstairs, there's a great variety of food options, and in the evenings, you can even take a stroll by the river with your dog. But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff proactively recommended scenic routes and even helped book tickets. The cleaning staff kept the room spotless every day and thoughtfully replenished bottled water and toiletries. The overall experience was exceptional. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit, highly recommend!
