Our stay was incredibly comfortable this time! The room was spotless, which was very pleasant to see, and the bed was so soft, I slept like a baby until morning. The decor here is beautiful, and the host is wonderful – so warm and genuine, patiently helping with any issues we had. The host personally picked us up and dropped us off, and the location is easy to find and convenient for getting around. The guesthouse even has its own restaurant, offering amazing value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, I truly recommend it to everyone!

Staying at a hotel near the Bell Tower in Xi'an was incredibly convenient for getting around. I could easily walk to the Muslim Quarter and the City Wall. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had an amazing view of the Bell Tower at night, which was absolutely stunning. The front desk staff were really friendly and even gave great recommendations for local food. Breakfast included Roujiamo and Hurat汤 (Spicy Soup), which were authentic and filling. Although parking was a bit of a hassle, the overall value for money was excellent. It’s definitely an ideal base to experience the charm of this ancient capital.

Location and Environment: The hotel boasts an excellent location near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, offering convenient access to the Shaanxi History Museum, Datang Everbright City, and Joy City. Despite the bustling area around the Pagoda, the hotel maintains a tranquil atmosphere. Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by a thoughtful ambiance featuring birdsong and fragrant flowers. Facilities: As one of Xi'an's top hotels, I have a few suggestions regarding the facilities. Firstly, the gym and meeting room are combined, and the layout could be optimized. The gym equipment is quite basic (perhaps not many people use it), and if you choose to work overtime in the meeting room, there are no power outlets for charging devices. While it's good to have both, they both feel a bit underutilized. Secondly, the hairdryer is incredibly loud; my ears were ringing by the time my hair was dry. While a Dyson isn't a must, a Laifen would be a welcome upgrade. Thirdly, regarding the washbasin, since this area is soft-separated from the bed, consideration should be given to preventing excessive splashing during normal use. The basin is too shallow and splashes a lot; I highly recommend replacing it if future upgrades are planned. Fourthly, I suggest providing two pairs of slippers in the shower room for added convenience, especially considering the risk of older guests slipping. On a positive note, I appreciate that small signs outlining the available facilities are displayed in the check-in area; it's concise and commendable! Service: The staff are very enthusiastic, and I find the people of Xi'an to be incredibly warm. My suggestion is for the hotel to proactively remind or reserve afternoon tea and evening soup for guests, perhaps with a call. For instance, I only discovered these services on my second day. In contrast, the Huagong Yutang Hotel, where I stayed the night before, specifically delivered these items to my room. There's room for improvement in this area. Breakfast: The breakfast chef's skills are impressive, and there's a good selection of local specialties like Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and Liangpi (cold noodles). The thoughtful mix of Chinese and Western dishes ensures that even latecomers won't miss out. The aunties at the breakfast buffet even thoughtfully suggested packing some pastries for the children. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I especially commend the soaking pool; the water temperature and flow control are excellent, so you don't have to fill it ages in advance, and bath salts are provided. My suggestion is to offer a fruit plate (delivered to the room) based on the room type, which would enhance the overall experience. In summary, both my parents and child were pleased, and we'll definitely stay here again!

I came here for a conference and then decided to extend my stay for the weekend to explore Xi'an like a special forces soldier. After comparing several options, I chose Zhiyincheng Hotel. **Location:** It's a short walk from Gate 3 of Joy City. If you're taking a taxi, set your destination to the Westin Hotel. It's quite close to the subway, specifically Exit B of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda station. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. Plus, it's very close to famous attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda light show, Datang Everbright City, and Da Ci'en Temple. The hotel's interior design is unique and perfect for taking photos. **Service:** The service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. I took Metro Line 4 from Xi'an North Station, and when I was about to arrive, I messaged the concierge. They met me at the subway station and helped me with my luggage. As soon as I entered the hotel, they immediately offered me a refreshing glass of sour plum juice, which was delicious. I went out to explore after dropping off my luggage, and when I returned in the evening, I actually forgot my room number! I asked the front desk attendant for help, and instead of getting annoyed, she immediately looked up my room number and even had my late-night snack delivered to my room. The next morning, I realized my period had started early and asked the front desk for help. They promptly sent up sanitary products; it was incredibly thoughtful. **Cleanliness:** Very clean and hygienic. **Facilities:** Smart toilet, large TV, smart curtains, smart vanity mirror… the room's amenities are quite modern. I particularly liked the placement of the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. It's perfectly aligned with normal usage habits, unlike some hotels where it's placed behind the toilet, requiring you to strain your back to reach it. The mirror is a dream for anyone who wears makeup. The only minor drawback was the shower. The showerhead holder is fixed to the wall and is quite high. For someone short like me, it's not very user-friendly. When showering, after rinsing off, if I wanted to hang the showerhead back up and then get some body wash, I had to stand on tiptoes to reach it, which can be quite dangerous in a wet shower. Also, the holder wasn't very easy to insert the showerhead into, so that was a bit inconvenient. **Breakfast:** The selection was neither too much nor too little, but it felt just right. Both mornings, the staff at the cooking station were wonderful and very enthusiastic, making guests feel energized right from the start. During my meal, I saw a foreign guest who seemed to want a sunny-side-up egg. Although the server might not have fully understood what the guest wanted in English, they made a great effort to communicate through gestures and eventually understood the guest's request. I thought this was excellent and truly demonstrated our country's hospitality. **Chinese or Western Afternoon Tea (choose one):** The sugar cookies were delicious. I forgot what kind of coffee beans I ordered, but they were incredibly smooth. I ordered an Americano, and it had a sweet aftertaste, which was very pleasant. **Travel Photography:** The hotel provides complimentary travel photography services. The makeup artist, photographer, and their assistant were all excellent and very professional. They communicated patiently with me, and the entire photoshoot was very enjoyable. I was extremely satisfied with the final photos. **Value for Money:** Some people might feel that Zhiyincheng Hotel is slightly more expensive than nearby hotels. However, I believe its service, location, and amenities make it well worth the price. The next time I visit Xi'an, I would still choose Zhiyincheng Hotel.

Even before we arrived, the hotel called us to confirm our needs. Our flight was delayed yesterday, and we got to the hotel late at night, but the receptionist was fantastic, very accommodating and helpful. We were really happy with the room, especially the sofa bed, which is a must-have for families with older kids. There was a minor issue with the room, but the staff resolved it quickly. Waking up in the morning and opening the electric curtains to such a stunning view was amazing. It's also super easy to get around by taxi from here, so the location is great. Highly recommend staying here!

I really liked staying here! The hotel was lovely and clean, very conveniently located, and the cats are absolutely friendly and delightful. I was very pleased with the Ancient Wall View from my room - close enough to see, but not close enough that people were looking into the room! The room itself was also perfect for me, with a comfortable bed and a very modern bathroom. Getting in was miiiiiildly confusing, just because I didn't realise that the hotel requires walking down a tiny (clearly signposted) alley to get to the stairs - not too bad, but I had to walk past twice to realise where I was. Overall a great stay!

I was absolutely blown away by the lake view room at W Xi'an! It truly lives up to its reputation as Asia's flagship luxury trendy hotel. Choosing a lake view room was definitely the best decision of my trip to Xi'an ✨ The room is incredibly spacious and expansive, with an open and grand layout. The modern, trendy design mixed with elements of the prosperous Tang Dynasty era gives it a sophisticated feel. The entire panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows plus the private viewing balcony offer an unbeatable view, directly facing Qujiang Lake with a 180-degree vista. Opening the window reveals the shimmering lake and lush greenery everywhere. In the morning, I was gently awakened by the sunlight and lake view, with a misty lake creating a fantastic atmosphere. In the evening, I watched the sunset paint the sky red, and after nightfall, the twinkling lights of the city blended with the nightscape of Qujiang. Whether lying in bed or sitting on the balcony, I could immerse myself in the stunning night views of Chang'an, even glimpsing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the distance. Every moment was a healing masterpiece. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, making for a super comfortable sleep – I didn't want to get out of bed. The bathtub by the window also allowed me to enjoy the lake view while soaking, making for a truly relaxing experience.

Excellent location! It's a short walk to the Bell Tower, and close to shopping malls and the subway station. There are plenty of street food options right outside the hotel. We requested a quiet room, and they accommodated us perfectly. The service was great – contacting the front desk was quick and easy with their one-touch phone system. Breakfast was decent too.

Driving all the way from Jiangnan to Northern Shaanxi, I was truly struck by the extreme geographical differences. The cave hotel was definitely the highlight of our trip to Yan'an. It was uniquely charming and spotless, with excellent facilities and wonderfully attentive service. They even upgraded our room based on our specific needs, which was a fantastic bonus. Definitely a five-star experience!

SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!

GGuest UserThe B&B's location is fantastic, super close to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter! It's right next to the ancient city wall, which was a major reason I chose this place. The overall decor is a lovely Chinese style, with two courtyards! There's also a beautiful rooftop terrace – sitting up there with a coffee, just chilling out, is incredibly enjoyable. The bed in the room was really comfortable, and the room itself was very spacious! All in all, I'd definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! It's super convenient to take the subway; you can get here directly from Xi'an North Station on one line without any transfers. The owner even contacts you in advance to provide directions, which is really reassuring! The service is excellent, and they respond very quickly. The room looks exactly like the pictures – it's clean and hygienic, and the bedding is especially comfortable! The facilities are also comprehensive, with both a washing machine and dryer, which is super helpful and much needed when traveling in cold weather. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, and while it's close to tourist attractions, it's actually in a residential area. Located at the South Gate, which is the main gate of the city wall, it's incredibly convenient to visit major attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Tower, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. Taxis are also just the starting fare. They even ask every day if you need housekeeping, unlike some B&Bs that don't clean for days! Highly recommend this place; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an.

Llsc1Clean and and convenient place to stay, it is located at a quiet and safe side street just few minutes walk from the terracotta warriors museum. Owners don't speak much English yet, although they are trying to learn (maybe next year they will know!). For now, simple communication using phone translation (voice and typing) is convenient. Hosts are friendly, they are husband and wife and the place is their home renovated. Feels like a homestay (with privacy as rooms are ensuite). They will provide breakfast. For lunch and dinner (paid separately but well priced) they can cook to order spicy or non spicy (your choice of food, again, order using Google translate). Taste of food is homey and tasty. Especially relaxing for stay the night just before a next morning visit to terracotta warriors museum, and return for lunch and unwinding before moving on to next part of journey. In case not rushed in time and staying for more than one night, may I suggest going to one of the Lintong District Onsens (15min by taxi), feel the history and relax by dipping in the same onsen source as Yang Guifei at Huaqing Pools - clean and have lots of outdoor pools, dry rock sauna, and rest areas, felt like having an onsen day in Japan. Can easily spend a whole day (we spent 6hrs and still wanted to spend more). Can ask owners for recommendation. We first stayed last year October when looking for accommodation near the terracotta warrior museum, booked to come back this year to relax and visit the less visited spots, hopefully next year we want to return. My son already misses the friendly cat nextdoors. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserWe arrived at 6 pm and the room was not ready. They explained they offered late check out and that’s why it wasn’t cleaned yet,. However, they offer us a late check too and took our luggage to the room when it was ready while we had dinner and explored the city. They give you a code to enter the room. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family (2 Adults + 2 Kids). It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!!! The toilets were modern. It had a kitchen that we didn’t use. It also had a washing machine with a place to dry the clothes! This really save us! The location was great, right in the city’s heart. We arrived at Xian north and it has a direct metro line 2 (27 min). You also have the Muslim quarter from 1 metro station stop. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay longer.

From walking in to completing all the procedures, it was seamless – truly excellent, efficient, and thoughtful service that made everything feel effortless and comfortable. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍 The room was clean and quiet, with full amenities, and the shower had great water pressure – very comfortable. This is my top choice for travel accommodations, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe Best Hotel Experience in China! I have traveled to many places, but this hotel was by far the best I’ve stayed at in China! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with such warmth and kindness that I was truly, truly surprised. Their level of hospitality is exceptional—they go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels special. The rooms are immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail is amazing, and everything is perfectly maintained. The service is simply outstanding, always attentive and professional, yet incredibly friendly. The hotel’s location is also ideal, making it easy to explore the city. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place.
