In general in accordance and fair to the price level in Venice at this point of the shoulder season. Real mages of the actual room were not available / not matching / not updated on the online offer. Current images are the same in different room categories / price categories (standard room having the same images like triple room etc.) and therefore misleading for the customer. When addressing the issue, one staff member was helpful / understanding, one was absolutely not and tried to blame me as a customer. Room facilities were okay, hot water takes quite some time to arrive in the shower, shower could have been cleaner, view towards the backyard is very messy (which is a pity as the backyard and garden could be beautiful) as currently used as storage space. Bed cover was stored very messy in the wardrobe where customers also supposed to hang their clothes. Luggage storage was available, yet very important values need to go separately into the reception, food was absolutely okay for the price range.

Staying on a higher floor is recommended, as the ground floor seems to be a bar or something similar, and it gets quite noisy. The hotel is very close to the train station, just a short walk away. There are also several good Chinese restaurants nearby. I took a walk around the neighborhood one evening and ended up in a community that seemed to have a lot of Black residents. It's probably best not to wander around there at night.

It was the most trashy hotel of my life. It was my first time staying in a room that didn't even have basic air conditioning and a refrigerator, and it ruined my vacation mood. It was smelly and dirty.

The table service I would say is excellent. The modern structure. I would say the young lady at the reception is very helpful and kind. Good and plentiful breakfast. Finally a clean room. I gladly go back.

The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily.

Nice hotel, clean, neat, and the staff were friendly overall. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service regarding the hair dryer. Although one was provided, I had to collect it from reception myself instead of having it delivered to my room. At checkout, I was also asked to return to my room to bring the hair dryer back to reception. I don’t feel this reflects the level of service expected from a four-star hotel.

Friendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least €25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around €12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotel’s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay.

Honestly, I didn't expect to find such a great hotel at this price, and it even included breakfast – incredible value for money! The location was the absolute best part. It's only a five or six-minute walk from the train station, which was a huge relief when traveling with heavy luggage – so convenient for anyone on the go! Staying off the main island meant better prices and a quieter, more comfortable experience without the crowds. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of food, they refilled dishes quickly, and everything tasted great – I was completely satisfied. The room decor was simple and practical, clean, and tidy, making for a very comfortable two-night stay. I have to praise the hot water system; it heated up fast and the temperature was stable, making for a fantastic shower experience. If you're looking to save money, save effort, and enjoy a comfortable stay in Venice, this place is definitely the right choice!
