Fantastic location with beautiful Nile views — I could even see the Pyramids from my balcony. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and it was convenient to have an on-site ATM with no extra fees. However, the staffs at the main entrance came across as a bit pushy (not sure if it’s a cultural thing or just individual attitude). Check-in and check-out were also quite slow, with about a 10–15 minute wait both times. The biggest issue was the hair dryer: it was very old and visibly damaged, patched with white tape, and it actually gave me an electric shock as it cracked while I was using it. This really shouldn’t happen at a well-known hotel chain.

This is the best value-for-money hotel around New Cairo. I looked at a lot of options, but many were guesthouses which I decided against. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, and even though there aren't many, it feels very peaceful. The exterior environment is even nicer, complete with a pool. Breakfast was also delicious. I ended up extending my stay for several days.

I caught the early flight to the airport. I had a few simple breakfasts and went to the lobby. After waiting for the arrival of the shuttle bus, I found that I accidentally left the passport bag and there was cash in the restaurant bag. After a while, the staff helped me deliver it very much. But later, when I got off the plane and exchanged money, I found that the cash inside must have lost the cash banknote of 250💶. The whole passport bag in Egypt was with me all the way. I lost almost ten minutes at this moment, and then unfortunately I had to end my trip to Egypt. I have left a message to the hotel to adjust the monitoring, but I don't know if there is any feedback and whether it can be found. At present, people have been to Tunisia to play, and the cash euros for the hotel are not enough！ 赶早班机去机场，简单吃了几口早餐去大厅等接送大巴到时后，发现不小心遗落护照包在餐厅包里有现金，不一会儿有工作人员帮忙送了过来很感谢，但是后来下飞机换钱的时候却发现里面的现金定丢失了现金纸币250💶。整个护照包埃及全程都在身边，就这一会儿丢了差不多十分钟，然后很遗憾得结束了埃及之旅。 已经给酒店留言调监控但是不知道有没有反馈，能不能找回来。目前人到突尼斯 玩了，付酒店的现金欧元都不够了，晕😵💫！

My stay at Sofitel Downtown Cairo was genuinely pleasant and absolutely worth the money. The hotel delivers a high standard of comfort, but what truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff. Special thanks to Ahmed Zakarya at the front desk for his professionalism and warm welcome. Appreciation as well to Shaker from housekeeping for his attentiveness and consistency. I would also like to extend special thanks to the ladies at Solana, the breakfast restaurant—Zakeyh and Hanan—who are truly the gems of the restaurant. Their kindness, energy, and attention to detail made breakfast a highlight of each day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, driven by excellent service and a strong hospitality culture. I would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located near airport, making it a best choice for travelers who are on short visit to or transit via Cairo. The facilities are outstanding with a well maintained swimming pool, nice restaurants, souvenir shops and with nice & attentive staffs. The check in was made a little earlier and smoother via online check-in. The room is clean, well maintained and spacious for the price range. The hotel offers free shuttle service to all the departure terminals (once in 30 minutes for 24 hours) and the complimentary buffer breakfast was awesome with a wide spread of menu items.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Ocean Blue Studios. It was the perfect choice for an early flight from Cairo. The room was very clean, comfortable, and much better than we expected. Everything was well organized and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you need a convenient and relaxing place before an early flight.

I had a conference in new cairo and also wanted to stay close to AUC. This hotel is very new and has all the amenities you need. Honestly i was very surprised by the quality of the furniture as its really good for Cairo standards. Bed is super comfortable, you have a microwave and really good television. Safe and place to place your luggage as well. i was on the 4th floor. very quiet too. it also has a gym and a pool which i didnt try but looks very well kept. I just hope that the cleanliness and standards maintain throughout the years as new hotels usually start well but later the quality goes down.

This is supposed to be a high-end hotel, yet the kettle in my room was broken upon check-in. The breakfast spread was ample, but the cold water served by the waitress in a glass cup tasted distinctly like tap water, and I couldn't tell if it was even mineral water. I'd really suggest the hotel management try a sip of the cold water served by the waitstaff, then a sip of tap water in a guest room, and finally a sip of actual mineral water. Even a three-star hotel shouldn't have such issues.

It's a five-minute walk from City Star, which is very convenient. The rooms are decent, and breakfast is okay, pretty much what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel in China. A heads-up: if two people are staying, make sure to book a double occupancy room and enter both names when reserving. Otherwise, the hotel will charge an extra $15 upon arrival. The location is quite good, close to the museum, airport, and a mall with dining options.
