Overall, I won't stay here next time. It's next to the casino, and there are parties nearby at night. Although it's Marriott Ritz, the overall service doesn't feel sincere. The front desk is very picky. The only thing I can recommend is the good breakfast. Facilities: It's relatively new, and the room area is quite large in Europe.. The window is blocked by structural steel frames... Hygiene: Don't expect any meticulous service in Spain Service: When you don't feel sincere, it's pretty good

The W Hotel boasts the best location on Barcelona beach. I recommend booking a high-floor room if possible; the sunrise views in the morning are absolutely stunning. After checking in, I suggest heading straight to the beach. The hotel has its own small private beach area accessible from the basement level, and guests get complimentary use of sun loungers and towels. The outdoor pool on the ground floor is fantastic, with many European and American tourists enjoying the sun. My tip is to have breakfast early, as the number of sun loungers on either side of the pool is limited. On Sunday evenings, the hotel hosts a pool party, which is free for guests with a room card. Non-guests have to queue and pay an entrance fee, and the atmosphere at the pool party is really great.

Super awesome! I booked a suite for three nights with my kids and upgraded to a suite with a view of Casa Batlló. The surprise was that I caught the light show of Casa Batlló on the last night. I could see the light show directly on the terrace of the room without having to go to the street to watch it. It was so awesome! The room was big and full of details. The fruits delivered every night were very rich. Champagne and cake were also delivered on the first night! Mandarin Oriental should be the best hotel in Barcelona. We walked to the three Gaudi attractions and Passeig de Gràcia was very easy to visit. I will definitely stay at Mandarin Oriental next time I come to Barcelona!

The location is superb, right on Passeig de Gràcia, just a 5-minute walk to Casa Batlló. Various luxury brand stores are right downstairs. There are also all sorts of small shops on the side streets, catering to every shopping need. The concierge service was excellent; they proactively helped with luggage and always greeted us with a friendly 'hello.' The breakfast restaurant offers a semi-buffet style, and the à la carte portions are incredibly generous. We didn't realize this on the first day and ordered too much. I suggest the restaurant staff could advise guests about the portion sizes. The room itself was standard, but I was in a connecting room on the 2nd floor. Every morning and evening, when people upstairs took showers, I could hear very loud pipe noises, which significantly disturbed my rest. Finally, some items in the mini-bar are complimentary, but the staff didn't replenish them proactively daily. We also had to specifically call for the daily complimentary bottled water for the room, which wasn't a great experience.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Generally speaking, the hotel rooms in Europe are not big and old, and they are not as smart as those in China. However, the room in this hotel is quite spacious. The front desk added a child's bed and upgraded a larger room. The charge is reasonable. Facilities: The hotel has a history of more than 100 years, and the facilities are inevitably a little old, but overall it is good. The equipment is not fancy, but very practical. There is a radiator in the bathroom, which is very necessary for winter stays. Service: Very good, rich and exquisite breakfast, the waiter's attitude is very good, and the greeting every morning brings a good mood to the start of the day. Environment: The hotel is in a very good location, in the city center, close to attractions such as Casa Batlló, Casa Mila, and Sant'Agata, and close to the city center streets. The transportation is very convenient and taxis are not expensive.

Excellent service and staff. We enjoyed one night here and were treated with warmth throughout the stay. Staff were responsive, helpful and kind. Would return again in a heartbeat! The rooftop was wonderful and though a bit chilly for dinner while we were there, it was perfect in the daytime. Unfortunately the pool was closed for winter, but would have been nice to enjoy the views from there! The room was clean and comfortable, thanks for a great stay!

It's OK. You can choose any room at this price. If you bring children, they charge per person and don't let you stay in a standard room. It's 740 euros for three people. The new carpet in the corridor has a strong smell. Breakfast is collected at 10:30

KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel” From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true... Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast) Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor. Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely. Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain... Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels... The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment. Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease) Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics) Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks) Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked) Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky? Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room) Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk) Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk? Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️ As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward) I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there? The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works? Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself. Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel. Now for the positives... The view from the room of the sea is beautiful It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced. The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.

GGuest UserPleasant Surprise in the Heart of Barcelona Rating:4/5 Stars Date of Stay:August 2024 --- Summary: We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed. Room: Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable. Service: The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Location: The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient. Facilities: The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city. Food and Drink: We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out. Value for Money: The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities. Tips/Recommendations: This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer. We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

AAiwandexiaopengyouThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the room size was decent enough, with more than ample space to open two large suitcases. And they had *duvets*! This was the only hotel among the several we stayed at in Spain that actually provided them. The location seemed decent enough, although we primarily used taxis. We found that for a group, taking taxis in Barcelona offered better value than using the metro. A branch of Joncake is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel – highly recommended! It's delicious and there was no waiting in line.

DDr. Julio BernalAt first I was concerned about the location of the hotel. Nothing to be worried about. The hotel is near the train station. (20 minutes walk). There are several options for dining around the hotel. The facilities are well kept (sauna/pool). The room was spacious and comfortable. Something to improve would be the operating ours for the bar. They close at 11. You could not get even a bottle of water unless you go and walk at least 10 minutes. Things that can improve for future travelers. 1. The attitude of the people in the lobby should represent the hotel brand. There was a staff person in the checking counter( I don’t know his name, male in his 30s…) yelling to another coworker and he didn’t mind if there were guests or not around. Truly unkind and unprofessional. 2. The restrooms in the lobby need a lot of maintenance. There were broken toilets and faucets. Besides these observations, this place is a very good option if you want to stay outside Barcelona.

GGuest UserI had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.

EERIDThe hostel is well located being only a couple of minutes walk from a metro station. Easy to get to an airport bus. The 8 bed dorms are well designed with each bed having a light, charging point and spaces to place items. The steps up the ladder are wide enough to place your whole foot, and the is a pole to hold on to making it easy to climb in and out of the top bunk. The area at the end of the room has a locker for each bed - lockers able to store even a large suitcase ( bring your own padlock ). The lockers even have a pole and one hanger inside which is handy. This area has stools and a lamp at the side if the locker meaning someone in that area can put on light without having to put on an overhead light and disturbing everyone. The layout is practical and well designed. The shared toilets and shower rooms are in the corridor. They are modern and clean and sufficient that I was never waiting. Laundry costs £9 for a wash and dry. There is only one washer and one drier meaning there were a few times I wanted to do my laundry and it was occupied. The kitchen is large and includes seating in this area. The kitchen is popular with people cooking; it is well equipped with regards to pots, pans and dishes, however lacks utensils which can make preparing food tricky, I had to prepare fried eggs using a fork to flip them. Difficult to find knives, forks and spoons to eat with. fortunately I travel with my own fork and spoon. There is 24 hour reception, bar, common room, patio, swimming pool, security doors making it feel more like a hotel rather than hostel. Modern and safe feel. Highly recommended.

SSlowWhiteUpon checking in, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk staff. The check-in process was smooth and easy, although I was surprised to find that I had to pay extra for tax, which was somehow excluded from the booking fee. The hotel is located within walking distance of a large shopping mall called Glòries, but it’s a bit further away from main attractions like the Sagrada Família. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. There’s a small swimming pool on the rooftop. Breakfast was amazing. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and the food was fresh and delicious. Overall, I’m very happy with the hotel.

JJoe the world citizenThis hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either.
