"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"I'm writing this review to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Tony Xiang from the concierge team for his warm and exceptional assistance. He was incredibly helpful to my family and me. Upon arrival, I was a little disappointed that no one was at the door to open the car for us. But then, to my pleasant surprise, a concierge staff member, Tony, quickly ran to the entrance to help us with our luggage. There was a long queue for check-in. Tony patiently and meticulously recommended Baohe Park to us, which was close by and saved us time, and we had a great time there. After that, from helping me expedite my room to having our luggage delivered, and taking my family to the bar to relax, he anticipated our needs without us even asking. He even prepared essential items for us, such as toiletries, bottled water, and a bathtub liner, and even arranged for a refreshing drink when I wanted one. His enthusiasm deeply touched me. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to assist me. These gestures alone left me with a truly wonderful impression of The Westin Hefei. Thank you, Tony!"

The hotel was easy to find, clean, and I slept wonderfully on the mountain. Shilin Hotel is truly the king of value for money. Thanks to Qiuxiang for the thoughtful service 🌹. The foot soak packets were a lifesaver, especially with the unexpected snow. In September, the autumn colors had just begun to touch the peaks of Huangshan. Standing on Bright Summit in the early morning, the sea of clouds spread beneath my feet. The sun slowly rose from behind Lotus Peak, painting the entire sky a fiery orange. The Guest-Greeting Pine was as iconic as ever, leaning out from the cliffside, as if waving to every passerby. A gust of mountain wind sent the sound of rushing pines rolling up from the valley, a deeply comforting sound. On the way down, I passed through an ancient Huizhou village. White walls and black-tiled roofs nestled quietly at the foot of the mountain, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of osmanthus. Who wouldn't fall in love with Huangshan?

The service at the hotel is immaculate, they provided us with gifts and free upgrades for our room type. The restaurant in the hotel is affordable and have many group deals to choose from, we could use the staff phone to book the deals and they were very welcoming. For those who are unsure how to hike through huang shan, theres also a tour group staff in the hotel during day time to explain the routes and organise the tour for you. We only had to pay an extra 20 rmb for their service, after excluding the ticket prices. We had a 75 minute foot spa and body massage and received 50% discount on the massage, the staff were friendly and were trained in TCM massage. Definitely highly recommend!! Many restaurants and massage parlours, supermarkets around too!

Visiting Mount Huangshan for a second time, I booked the Xihai Hotel. After having lunch and a midday rest at the hotel, I headed out in the afternoon to stroll around the Paiyun Pavilion and West Sea Grand Canyon area. It was a very relaxing trip. The hotel room was great—nice, big, and spacious. They also provide a butler service, keeping us informed about sunrise and sunset times, hotel activities, and more.

I specifically chose to stay at the InterContinental Hefei for Wang Leehom's two concerts! The location in the Government Affairs District by Swan Lake is excellent. Taking a taxi to Hefei Olympic Sports Center Stadium was smooth, and even after the concert when there was a large crowd, returning to the hotel was hassle-free, saving a lot of time and effort. In between my concert schedule, I managed to visit the Hefei Museum and explored the cultural and creative shops and took photos at Hechai 1972. Transportation to all these spots was very convenient. I stayed in a high-floor lake-view room this time, and opening the window revealed the entire Swan Lake. The night view from dusk till deep night was absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to rest quietly after a long day of running around. The InterContinental's quality is consistently good. The breakfast selection is rich, and the service is attentive. It's suitable for both attending concerts and short city trips. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Hefei for a concert.

I came to Hefei on a business trip and stayed for a couple of days, choosing this hotel. Jane, who assisted me, is very reliable. She took note of my preference for a quiet room beforehand and thoughtfully arranged one for me. The room facilities were fully functional, the hot water supply was steady, and I was thrilled to find Diptyque toiletries, which I love. The European-style hotel lobby is very comfortable to hang out in, and the small garden is a great spot to sit and relax. The MixC mall is nearby, offering plenty of dining options within walking distance. While nothing exceptionally mind-blowing, there are no major faults to find either. The good service is something you gradually appreciate—not the overly enthusiastic kind that makes you feel pressured, but rather the kind that makes me want to return for a second stay.

Overall, it was decent, but there were quite a few flaws. Firstly, everyone said the butler would add WeChat in advance, but that didn't happen. The showerhead in the second bedroom was broken, and the window in the master bedroom's shower room couldn't close properly. The turndown service was really just a formality; they rushed in to do it as soon as it was light, haha. And the goodnight soup was only provided one night. The iron flower show and fish lanterns were great, but the 90-minute spa was relatively average.

This is my second time staying at this hotel! Compared to my first visit, I feel like the details have been much improved. The shuttle service is really excellent, and the room is very clean. Getting around from here also feels quite convenient. I'm very satisfied with the room layout; the space is quite large, and it has a wet and dry separation in the bathroom. If I go to Chuzhou again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Five-star rating!

I drove here and chose this hotel because of its good online reviews. What impressed me most was its peaceful atmosphere despite being in a busy area. It's conveniently located near the old town, and most importantly, the service was excellent. The staff were thoughtful, actively guiding guests, helping with luggage, and even taking guests to the old town. The hotel's hygiene was also good, and breakfast offered a wide variety. There's also a free pool, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience due to my short stay.

The room I stayed in didn't feel very small at all ~ It was pretty good, mainly because it was clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. They provided a clothesline, a jacket for watching the sunrise, and a flashlight. Although the window faced the hallway, our room was right at the very end of the corridor, so we could open the window for ventilation without any disturbance. Since it was the shoulder season, very few people walked by, so opening the window wasn't an issue at all. Right after checking in, a butler personally escorted us to our room and even gave us complimentary fruit. The 98-yuan buffet breakfast included was rich, delicious, and offered a great variety of choices. There were also some interactive activities at 7 PM, which brought a cozy and lively vibe to the cold night, plus complimentary midnight snacks after 10 PM.
