Room floor should be spc wooden as tiles too cold and tiles flooring looks cheap for hotel, not a personal fans for carpet floor and luckily they did not install that.
This is 3rd time staying here, good place for our son to experience lost world tambun as he loved the animals here roam freely and feeding freely.
Room has a strong smell as we guess they use strong air freshener male strong musky smell to mask the smoking smell before us. Water given to us also past expiry date đ

If you're visiting Lost World of Tambun, you can choose this place. It's within walking distance to the park, making the location super convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you can even see the amusement park from the window. The ambiance is very comfortable.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would especially like to thank the Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, who looked Malay, for her patience and excellent explanation in Chinese. Awesome hotel, felt welcoming while stepping in, smiling staff everywhere including housekeeping and restaurant server, Appreciate to Ms Jojo at the front desk who given us wonderful connecting room due to my handicap mom, Overall cleanliness is great, Thanks to the housekeeper Rahim who take care of room 515&516, My family enjoyed the stay so much especially my kid, love the pool and games room .The only downside was the pool entrance which is wet and slippery which needs more attention. I enjoyed my stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all the necessary amenities were well provided for guests.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the room interior as it did not reflect the Balinese vibe I was expecting. The design and overall atmosphere felt lacking, including the absence of the signature Bali-style aroma or fragrance that usually enhances the experience.
Additionally, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which was a downside for me. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance and facilities.
Had a pleasant stay at M Roof Hotel & Residence. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern design and good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient with many eateries nearby and easy parking available. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was a good value stay and I would consider coming back again.
One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more clearly designated disabled parking spaces closer to the entrance to improve accessibility and convenience for guests with mobility needs.
The room was much bigger than we expected. The front desk assigned us a family room, even though there were only two of us. It had an open kitchen, a large living room, and two bedrooms. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms, which was great for the wet and dry separation. The hotel felt newly renovated, so everything was very new, though there was a slight smell of formaldehyde â hopefully, they can air it out more. All in all, we felt this hotel was very much worth the price! If I have the chance to visit Ipoh again, I'll definitely stay here.

I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort to celebrate a special anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
Upon arriving at 3:00 PM, I had to wait in a very long queue for check-in and only received my room key at approximately 3:40 PM. After entering the room, I noticed that the anniversary decorations I had requested were in place, but the cake, chocolates, and fruit platter that I had paid for were not provided. As this was intended to be a surprise for my husband, it was quite disappointing.
What was even more frustrating was that no one informed me that these items were not yet ready. I had to call and follow up myself to check on their status. The cake and other items only arrived more than an hour later, which significantly reduced the excitement and impact of the surprise.
I was also surprised to find that the minibar fridge was completely empty, with no canned drinks or refreshments available. Considering the room rate was approximately RM1,200 per night, I expected more than just complimentary bottled water.
The room was advertised as having a king-size bed, but it felt smaller than expected. In addition, the dinner buffet pricing for children was quite expensive at RM50 per child. My children are 8 and 10 years old and, like most children their age, they eat only small portions and usually only one or two dishes. The breakfast charges for children were also relatively high, making the overall dining cost difficult to justify for young children.
To make matters worse, the cashier accidentally charged my children's dinner twice. Although the duplicate charge was voided, I was informed that the refund process could take between 7 and 14 weeks. This seems like an excessively long waiting period for a billing error made by the hotel.
Overall, this stay was disappointing and frustrating. I had expected a smooth and memorable experience for such a special occasion, but several service shortcomings negatively affected our celebration. I hope the management will review these issues and make improvements to enhance the guest experience in the future.
First time booking apartment for family holiday. At first not sure if we make a right choice. Till we experience and stay, confirmed right choice and no regret!
The whole stay from drive through key collection point, parked n open up the unit door, all above our expectation and seamless experience.
The unit is very well ID designed and with good function including kitchen. Drinking water LG brand machine was provided so we all can easily access to drinking water. Washing machine come with drying function provided. Bedroom bed is so comfortable. All basic amenities were provided and unit is clean.
Itâs a good place and good fengshui house for family bonding.
The condo facility all look new and well kept. Iâve used its swimming pool, Onsen pool with jacuzzi and sauna. As only one night stay so didnât experience itâs gym only.
The platform owner was very nice and helpful. As we need help with the drinking water machine etc, they are approachable and responsive. Two sets of access card and key was provided make our life so convenient since we were there in two separate cars.
With the ID design house, no wonder need to pay deposit of RM200. Surely acceptable. Refund of deposit was also fast and immediately after we check out.
Thanks for everything. We all enjoy the stay very much. Looking forward to return to stay again soon. Keep up the good work.

We stayed at this hotel in Pangkor, and overall, our experience was positive.
- đ **Location:** It's super close to the beach and the main street with cafes and shops â you really couldn't ask for a better spot.
- đ **Accommodation Style:** The hotel is made up of small bungalows, each with its own entrance. Most have a little terrace with a table. It's all very simple, but clean and pleasant.
- đïž **Amenities:** The bedding was clean, there was always hot water, and the air conditioners were powerful. The towels, however, are quite worn out and could use replacing.
- đ **Pool:** There is a pool, but it looked a bit gloomy, so we didn't use it.

WWong Hui SeanThis hotel is right in the city centerâjust a short walk to Ipoh Padang. Within about 5 minutes on foot, you can reach many popular spots like Concubine Lane and Plan B, which makes everything very convenient.
The hotelâs lobby and restaurant are both located on the 12th floor, offering nice views of parts of Ipoh. The front desk service is good, and the hotelâs security guards are also very polite.
The room isnât very big, but itâs well-equipped and clean. The only downside is that the parking area inside the hotel is quite small with limited spaces. However, the hotel provides an alternative parking area and even offers a free shuttle service. Honestly, itâs only about a 100-meter walk away anyway. đ
JJenniellStayed one night at Travelodge Ipoh and honestly itâs one of my favourite hotels whenever I have work in Ipoh đ€ The room feels much more spacious compared to many other hotels in the same range, super comfortable after a long day.
Also, can we talk about the shower gel? đ The lemongrass scent is sooo refreshing and relaxing â small detail but it really made the stay feel extra nice.
Clean room, comfy stay, good experience overall. Will definitely come again!

IilkashongThe location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient.
House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toiletâs door.
Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by.
The design of the car park is a nightmare. Itâs octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go.
The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I havenât checked if I received the return).

We were happy stayed there but our complaints need to be addressed to ensure next guests satisfied too.

Master Bedroom: The ceiling fan was not working, and there were ants and mosquitoes present.
Room 2: The mirror was broken.
Room 3: No hangers were provided.
General: The hair dryer was damaged and unusable.
Gym Facilities: The gym is very run-down, and many machines are not working.
Toiletries & Linen: Only hair and body shampoo were provided. Towels were old and worn out, and the bedroom sheets were not very clean.
On a positive note, the infinity pool is nice and well-maintained, which we did enjoy.
However, the issues above significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. Proper maintenance, cleanliness, and better provision of basic amenities are strongly needed for future guests.

GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. Â However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. Â The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the âfixâ was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. Â To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.Â
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. Â However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.Â
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the âmake my roomâ card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. Â They only cleaned 1. Â I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.Â
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.Â
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.Â
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Â Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).Â
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. Â It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.Â
All in all, it was a decent stay. Â Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.Â
