Very good, clean and comfortable, with a good sense of space; water is expensive in Europe, so I added extra purified water; the external environment is beautiful~

The highlight of our stay at Bad Hotel Überlingen was definitely the spa area. It felt very new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna resting area, in particular, stood out—it connects directly to a garden, and from there you have a beautiful view over Lake Constance. Stepping outside for fresh air between sauna sessions, with that view in front of you, was genuinely relaxing. The gym, on the other hand, felt a bit disappointing. It’s quite small, and strangely, there were no weights available. It seemed like all the equipment was locked away in a physio or personal training room, which made the space feel incomplete for anyone wanting a proper workout. Breakfast was a much more positive experience. The selection was excellent, easily better than what I’ve come across in most German hotels. Everything was well presented, and the refilling was always timely, so nothing ever felt empty or neglected. That said, the service was a little inconsistent. One staff member—a dark hair runner in the restaurant—handled a small issue with a pepper grinder poorly, initially dismissing the concern instead of checking it. Thankfully, another server stepped in quickly and resolved the situation before it escalated further. Parking is available either at the hotel or at the car park across the street, both at €17 per day, which is straightforward but something to factor in. What really ties everything together is the location. The surroundings are beautiful—the lakefront promenade is just there, perfect for a walk, and there’s a nearby park with a charming tower that adds to the scenery. The Bodensee-Therme Überlingen is also just around the corner, making it easy to extend that spa-like feeling beyond the hotel itself. In the end, Bad Hotel Überlingen is a place where the setting and spa experience really shine, even if a few details—like the gym setup and some service moments—don’t quite match the overall potential. This is one of the very few hotel I would love to stay over again.

Located within 1 kilometer of the central station, with a shuttle bus from Frankfurt Airport, it offers convenient access to tourist attractions, and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and cafes nearby – the location is superb. Breakfast is fantastic, with about 10 kinds of fresh juices including smoothies, and various canapés – the variety is incredible, and the service is friendly and top-notch. You can make coffee in your room using the coffee machine, and there's free fruit-infused water at the entrance. The lobby is spacious, with tables and sofas, and power outlets – simply wonderful! The only downside is the lack of any markings at the shuttle bus departure point. Furthermore, even though I had booked the return shuttle the day before, and it was the first departure of the day, it seems there was a mix-up and they couldn't even pick me up before it departed. Because I called about 10 minutes past the scheduled time, it arrived 20 minutes later, almost full with only one seat remaining. While this isn't the hotel's fault, I felt the lack of markings at the departure point was something the hotel could have addressed, so I'm mentioning it.

Pros- Funky hotel in a central location. You can walk to the city center. Very close to U6 tram which goes directly to the airport. Stay at room 520 for for nights. The room was spacious with bright lights. The bed was big and comfy. The staff is young and energetic. Cons - breakfast lack varieties. Send message to staff via tablet/ipad provided in the room but no response. The fridge was not working.

Nice-looking hotel with abysmal service: - When arriving in our car, we were confronted by a rude doorman who made us feel like we had parked in the wrong location. - After making it clear that we wanted to check in, he changed his attitude but gave us the wrong price for parking (he said 30 EUR/day, even though it is actually 40 EUR). - When checking in, we received no information about the facilities; the rooftop bar wasn't even mentioned, for example. - At the rooftop bar itself, we waited 45 minutes for two espresso martinis. We eventually left after asking four times about our drinks, only to be repeatedly told they would arrive ”any minute.” - At checkout, we asked for our car to be ready at 12:30. When we went to the doorman, he rudely told us he had to take care of other cars first. - After pressing the issue several times, we received our car about 20 minutes late. To make matters worse, they didn't know where our luggage was and asked us about it (even though reception had told us that morning that our luggage would already be in the car). - They figured it out eventually, and we were very happy to leave this overpriced hotel. It's one thing to not perform to the standard you should; it's another thing entirely to be rude to your customers.

I happened to be on a business trip to Heidelberg and chose this hotel for a quick rest. The room was very clean and comfortable, the complimentary sparkling water was a nice touch, and they even provided gummies. The coffee and bedding quality were truly excellent! Especially the spa, which met five-star standards. The front desk service was very good, and the hotel is as close to the train station as it gets. It's a pity I couldn't experience breakfast, as I had a 5 AM train. All in all, a very unexpected and pleasant surprise!

＜Modern style, convenient location, but not for everyone＞ Coucou Hotel has a modern approach and is very conveniently located right next to the train station in Titisee. This makes it a practical choice if you need to catch an early train or arrive late. However, the overall feel is more like a well-decorated B&B than a full hotel experience. The bed was not comfortable — even my husband, who is usually an easy sleeper, did not enjoy it. The room also felt a bit warm and the air circulation was not ideal. Breakfast is basic and acceptable, with yogurt, cheese and cold cuts available. Hot options are limited (boiled egg, German-style scrambled egg, sausage/meatball), so if you prefer a warmer start to the day, the selection may feel restricted. The shower floor is plastic rather than tiles and can be slippery. If you are an easy sleeper, not particularly sensitive to noise or bedding, and mainly need a convenient station location, Coucou can work well. If you are driving (like us) and prefer more space and a more polished hotel experience, it may be worth considering other options in the area.

Although it is an old house, the sanitary conditions are very good, the breakfast is also very rich, and the transportation is convenient.

The hotel is split into North and South wings, connected by an underground passage. It's quite a large hotel, so expect to do a fair bit of walking. Like other Maritime hotels, the complimentary bottle of mineral water given at check-in needs to be carried back to your room yourself. What I found really hard to understand was having to collect breakfast vouchers from the front desk every day, multiple times. The highlight, however, was the incredibly rich and varied breakfast. The staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient, despite the large number of guests dining daily. I highly recommend Robert's, an Italian restaurant located nearby.

Hotel is nice, good location and staff friendly and helpful. However that's when you see the staff whichis usuallyin themorning. I checked in online as requested, was informed that I will get a code for door and room. I thought it is to make thecheck in process more efficient. I came in the afternoon and couldn't get inside the building, which need the code to get in. Finally some other guests came and I got in the building, and the hotel doesn't have reception to check you in. There is only a German phone number, which I don't want to call as it is an international call for me. There is email which I could send, but nobody answered. I don't know what to do to check in. Finally I found the code in email from hotel in my spam folder and managed to find my room. It's not clear that without the code nothing you can do. I think as a hotel some human intervention maybe needed
