Hotels With spa in Pest, Hungary

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍

Great location, very close to where you can take Danube river cruises, and there's a Christmas market nearby, which creates a festive atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. The only downside is that the price was a bit high when booked for New Year's Eve.

The hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit, which really made a great impression. The breakfast was also fantastic—delicious, high quality, and such a nice bonus that it’s included with the stay. The only disappointment during our visit was related to the sauna and spa area. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to enjoy those facilities. When we checked in, the front desk staff member even told us about the sauna and mentioned that we should call a few minutes before going so they could prepare it for us. Unfortunately, we later found out that it was essentially unavailable for most of the weekend. On Sunday it was closed for a private event, and on Monday there was scheduled “maintenance” until 16:00. What made this a bit confusing was that we were in the gym area—right next to the spa—throughout the morning and didn’t see anyone doing any maintenance. When we tried again after 16:00, both the sauna and steam room had “out of order” signs posted. Of course, we understand that things happen and facilities occasionally need repairs or may be reserved for events. It would have just been helpful to know this at check-in, especially since the spa was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. That said, aside from this issue, everything else about our stay was excellent. The service, atmosphere, and breakfast were all wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!

The hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions. Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me. You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor. Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new. The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

The hotel is showing its age, and unfortunately, it's quite noticeable. The carpets in the rooms are a bit worn, and the furniture is scratched, with some cabinets even difficult to open. The front desk staff was very helpful, but due to high occupancy, there was a rush for tables in the dining hall. My wife was unfortunately a victim of this, as another guest aggressively claimed a table, stating they had left their phone there earlier. Disappointingly, the staff didn't intervene or mediate as I would have expected. Furthermore, the hotel had torn towels, which I find unacceptable for a 4-star establishment.

Continental Comfort in Budapest 🏩 For €260 a night 💶, the “junior suite” delivers big on comfort — a bed you’ll melt into 🛏️, pillows with personality, and a breakfast omelette 🍳 that could win awards. The staff are genuinely lovely 😊, and the building itself has a historic glass dome that makes you stop and stare. Not everything hit the mark — the “wellness centre” (a sauna that’s more lukewarm hug than steamy escape 🧖♂️) and toiletries that smell like disappointment. Luxury touches didn’t quite sparkle, yet the space was clean, practical, and restful 😌. For sure, the hotel is in general nice. Very big Pool, nice Spa area. The room sizes are well (25+m2). Furniture are simple, plain usefull (about Holiday Inn style). Size of cabinets good for a 2 weeks stay with 2 persons. I liked the relatively big work desk. 2 armchairs and a small round table for your comfort. The bathroom good. Just thr hose with shower head was too short for tall people. Cleanness was good. But, be aware,you need to ask for room cleaning. They do not do automatically. This hotel mainly is for vacation/ family vacation. So, there als is a kids play room. What I did not like so much, eas the dinner. It was very Hungarian style. Means, a lot of meat and heavy food. I was missing more vegetables. Cooked or fresh, but not so much pickled. On other hand, breakfast has been great! Parking at the hotel is free of charge. And the parking lot really is big. Over all best place to stay in this area.
