We hired a driver for 8 hours for a day trip to Snow Jade Mountain & Blue Moon Valley,. We purchased the cable car tickets separately, and once the booking was confirmed, the itinerary was planned with the driver via WeChat. The driver was very good and having our own car gave us a lot of flexibility. We could start and finish the day at our own pace, without having to follow a fixed schedule. We also appreciated avoiding the crowds and rigid schedule of tour groups, which we saw plenty of throughout the park. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable way to explore the area, and we would definitely recommend having a private driver for the flexibility and ease it provides.

The minivan was a bit lacking; the back was cramped and uncomfortable, making for a less than ideal experience. When they tried to sell us oxygen tanks and medication, we felt the shopkeeper went overboard, using various scare tactics and creating panic, including banging and clanging. We didn't buy anything! The driver was very responsible throughout the trip. Hopefully, things will be better.

Great trip. Simple, picked us up from hotel, bus out to the TLG, with a couple of short and simple photo or generel interest stops, then into the gorge. An hour or so for us to explore. Bought our own tickets for the escalator back up. We used our wechat account to communicate with the tour people, made it very easy. We didn't opt for the lake option because it was near our hotel. Left hotel in the morning, back by around 2/3 pm.Thanks.
