▲ Yulong Snow Mountain Glacier Park is a park composed of stone caves and grottos formed by glacial erosion, representing a geomorphological relic from the Quaternary glaciation period, often referred to as the "Lucerne Glass Palace." Located in Lucerne, central Switzerland, it was discovered in 1872. The park showcases Switzerland's glacial landscapes from history, featuring simulated glacial mirrors and models of human life during the Ice Age. Situated 32 km north of Lijiang city in Yunnan Province, on the northeastern slope of Shanzidou, the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, it is a typical representation of modern glaciers on Yulong Snow Mountain.

▲ Yulong Snow Mountain Glacier Park is a winter wonderland covered in pristine snow during the cold seasons, making it one of China's premier destinations for skiing and snow activities. In summer and autumn, visitors can explore a 2.7-kilometer scenic area featuring the 40,000-year-old Baishui No. 1 Glacier. The ice towers, praised as "Green Snow and Marvelous Peaks," resemble massive jadeite gems set among rugged rocks. Between elevations of 4,506 to 4,800 meters, adventurers can push their limits and transcend themselves amidst the sacred purity of eternal ice and snow, finding spiritual renewal far removed from worldly concerns.

▲ About 5 km west of the Gan Haizi Visitor Center, you'll arrive at the lower station at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. This is the starting point of the Great Snow Mountain Cableway, surrounded by dense primeval forests at an elevation of 3,356 meters. The cableway ascends from here to the upper station located directly below the main peak, Fanzi Dou, at 4,506 meters above sea level. Spanning 2,914 meters with a vertical rise of 1,150 meters, it holds the distinction of being the highest-altitude tourist cableway in China.

▲ Blue Moon Valley is a scenic area located at the eastern foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in Yulong County, Lijiang, Yunnan Province. The attraction features Jade Liquid Lake, Mirror Pool, Blue Moon Lake, and Listening to Waves Lake. Formed by the melting of ancient glaciers from Yulong Snow Mountain, the water flows down the cliffs, gathering into mountain streams and eventually forming crystal-clear, refreshing rivers in the deep valley. In 2006, the Yulong Snow Mountain Management Committee invested in developing the Blue Moon Valley attraction, constructing six sediment-retaining dams to enhance the landscape. On August 10, 2024, a special Qixi Festival activity titled "Love on Qixi, Vows at Yulong" was held in Blue Moon Valley, aiming to preserve and promote China's traditional culture while revitalizing the festival's modern appeal.
