Yulong Snow Mountain
Your private guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, then embark on an exciting journey to Yulong Snow Mountain.
Your journey begins with pickup from the Lijiang city area and around the ancient town at your selected departure time. After pickup, you'll be driven to the Ganhaizi Parking Lot at Yulong Snow Mountain. Upon arrival, the guide will promptly handle the necessary ticketing procedures. As the processing time varies depending on the number of visitors each day, please follow the driver and guide's instructions and wait patiently in line.
Ganhaizi National AAAAA Tourist Attraction, located at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang, is a natural alpine meadow pasture. With gently rolling terrain, the vast grassland is dotted with low pine trees. Beneath your feet stretches an endless meadow, where yaks occasionally wander leisurely amidst the vegetation, creating a picturesque highland pasture scene. Against the backdrop of the distant snow-capped mountains, this is an ideal spot for sightseeing and photography.
The cable car ride at Yulong Snow Mountain Glacier Park must be taken strictly according to the time slot assigned by the scenic area. To avoid long waiting times, we will flexibly adjust the itinerary—either visiting Blue Moon Valley first before taking the cable car or vice versa. On sunny days at Blue Moon Valley, sunlight dances on the lake surface, creating a dreamy turquoise hue. Stroll along the wooden boardwalk and visit the four stunning lakes, including Jade Liquid Lake and Mirror Pool Lake, each offering breathtaking beauty.
After a short midday break and lunch, head to the large-scale live performance "Impression Lijiang" in the afternoon. Set against the backdrop of Yulong Snow Mountain, this performance was created by renowned directors including Zhang Yimou. Hundreds of performers, all local residents, showcase the traditional culture, customs, and magnificent landscapes of the Naxi people and other ethnic groups through authentic performances, offering you a breathtaking audio-visual experience.
The specific departure and return times will be adjusted according to the cable car ticket time and the "Impression Lijiang" show schedule. Please kindly understand that longer waiting times may occur due to heavy visitor traffic at the scenic area.
Important Notice:
In case of adverse weather conditions (such as strong winds or heavy fog) or force majeure events causing the suspension of Yulong Snow Mountain's main cableway, it will be adjusted to Spruce Meadow or Yak Meadow cableway with a refund of the price difference (75-80 RMB/person). The final arrangement will be subject to customer service notification. Thank you!
Baisha Ancient Town
Finally, the guide will take you to Baisha Ancient Town to visit the ancient murals and explore Yufeng Temple. Baisha Ancient Town is very peaceful as it remains uncommercialized. If you wish to witness the authentic life of the Naxi people and appreciate their culture, you can experience their way of living in Baisha Ancient Town. Around 4 PM, the driver will take you back to your hotel, concluding the day's journey.
