I had a great stay here. The place looks exactly like the photos - modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, proactive, and very helpful. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the shared areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and sleeping hub.
I was initially worried about using shared bathrooms, but the bathrooms were very clean, and other guests were considerate in keeping them tidy after use. If you do not bring slippers, they are also available from the vending machine, which is convenient.
The sleeping hub was higher and more spacious than expected, warm and comfortable, with power outlets and USB-C ports on both sides of the bed. Wi-Fi was strong, and I was able to use the call booth for a virtual meeting. The wristband system for opening doors and making purchases inside the property was also very convenient. I also enjoyed using the shared sauna, especially after coming in from the cold.
The location is excellent, close to a bus stop with easy access to Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli. There are supermarkets, international restaurants, and a laundromat nearby. Overall, I highly recommend CityHub Copenhagen for a clean, comfortable, convenient, and well-designed stay.

The atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and relaxed and the location is great, but the hygiene is not really good for the bathroom, there is a weak water flow for the shower, and the hotel reception was in the bar, and the rooms were above the bar, making it a bit noisy at night. This hostel don't have any common areas; you either went out or stayed in the dorm. They didn't even provide shower gel or shampoo.
Functional for a Layover, But Bare-Bones in
If you just need a place to crash during a long layover, this hotel serves its purpose, but don't expect any ”extras.” It is a functional choice for proximity to the airport, and that is about where the perks end.
The Downsides:
Missing Amenities: The room is strictly ”no-frills.” There is no kettle, no coffee-making facilities, and absolutely no toiletries provided.
Basic Bathroom: The bathroom setup is incredibly sparse. There wasn't even a floor mat, which made the space feel unfinished and led to a slippery floor after showering.
Mediocre Breakfast: The morning spread was underwhelming. It’s edible, but certainly not a highlight of the stay.
The Verdict:
It’s a fine spot if you are arriving late and leaving early, but the lack of basic comforts makes it hard to recommend for anything longer than a quick night's sleep.
For the room I stayed in is really small. Even I am short, I could not sit straight on my bed ( can refer to the picture I uploaded).
The toilet and the bathroom is really cold, especially for right side of the bathroom as there is no heater inside. And the cleaning staff, their service attitude a bit worse. During the morning hour, they will clean the toilet and bathroom, also for the checked-out bed. From my experience, they stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable and ”under pressure”, seems I should not stay at the area (where they are cleaning). Also, I found that they changed the pillow cover and bed sheet on floor(disgusting). However, the reception is nice.
As it is a hostel, it is reasonable for them to charging fee from the shampoo, shower gel, or service (like storing luggage service). However, I have never heard and experienced that accommodation does not provide hairdryer for free(cost $50 dkk). It is alarming to everyone who would like to book this hostel when coming to Copenhagen, you need to bring shampoo, shower gel, teeth blush, etc. If it is possible bring your own hairdryer as well, it is costly for you to bring one for just a few days.
I would totally not recommend people to stay in this hostel cause there is better options with the similar price (like airbnb or other hostel chain).
I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, and many aspects of the hotel were excellent—especially the cleansing products provided, which were of very good quality and much appreciated.
However, as someone with sensitive skin, I am particularly affected by dust mites. During my stay, I noticed that the carpet in the room may not have been thoroughly vacuumed, which caused significant skin irritation and discomfort.
I kindly suggest that the hotel could improve its vacuuming and cleaning standards, especially for carpets, to ensure a more comfortable environment for guests with allergies or sensitive skin.
The room was excellent, and the front desk staff were great. The room was very clean, and the security was also very strict. The location is good too, very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to the city center by subway.
Great location—5 min walk to Central Station, easy access to Tivoli and museums. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom large, shower amazing (strong pressure, stable temp).
Our room faced Tivoli—perfect for fireworks! Front desk was super nice and handled multiple booking changes for our big group smoothly.
Restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced (pasta & steak both great). Matcha latte was a highlight!
Would stay again.
The location is decent; both the train and metro stations are within walking distance. However, there aren't many dining options nearby. When I first arrived, I found one pizza place, but that was about it for restaurants. The hotel breakfast is simple but filling enough. There's hot water available downstairs, and luggage storage is free, though it's in a basement without an elevator. Carrying heavy bags up and down is quite a hassle, especially since it's unattended. I guess that's understandable for a youth hostel.

One of the best Hostelling international hotels I’ve been to so far, the Danes know how to do Hostelling right that is clean and comfortable. Very close to the museums
Couldn't check in early, but the common areas were super functional, vibrant, and relaxing – really on par with Clink in Amsterdam. While waiting on the 3rd floor, I looked through the floor-to-ceiling windows and saw a full rainbow panorama right in front of me, even spotting people walking on top of it clearly.
However, paying an extra 50 DKK for bed linen was ridiculous, especially since it wasn't mentioned during booking! That evening, I asked the front desk if there was hot water, and they said yes, but it would cost 15 DKK per cup. Seriously! For a hostel, not having a communal kitchen or a fridge to store food, and not even providing a kettle, is just unacceptable. I can't consider these facilities to be adequate.

AAnonymous UserI was on a business trip, and while the room wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate for just me, especially considering the affordable price. The security was also good, so overall it met my travel needs and was a decent place to stay.

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely love this hotel. The interior is incredible, the staff is super helpful, the location is ideal right next to the central station. Booked the cosy room and yes it was small (just like it says online) but it was so nice anyway. Super comfortable bed and just overall great.
IIABCA beautiful hotel with the perfect location!
2 blocks from Copenhagen Central with decent sized rooms. It was all clean and tidy, and we had a beautiful corner room. As we were there for our anniversary, we received complimentary macaroons and a gorgeous handwritten card.
We loved the amenities too and cannot wait to return!

SstrewriidService: Self check-in was a breeze. There are several counters on the first floor where you can ask questions, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though my English isn't great, they still managed to assist me successfully.
Environment: P8 is the rooftop kitchen, I saw it but didn't go. If you're concerned about security, buying a lock is quite necessary; you can get one at the front desk for 45.
Hygiene: The bathrooms were cleaned daily and trash was emptied, and the bedding was also very clean.
Facilities: To the left of the self check-in area on the first floor, there's a tap water dispenser where you can fill up your bottle – remember to bring your own cup to save money!
GGuest UserThe room was a bit small. It's about a 10-minute walk from the central station, but closer to the tram stop, which is more convenient for getting to attractions like Nyhavn. Breakfast for 59 DKK was a bit basic, just bread, yogurt, and coffee. Check-in is at 3 PM. Luggage storage is 25 DKK for 3 hours, and 40 DKK for 6 hours. Access to the kitchen, which has a fridge, kettle, microwave, and utensils, costs 25 DKK for your entire stay. When I checked in, the lock on my locker was broken, but the front desk staff quickly came up and fixed it after I reported it. I was very satisfied with their efficiency and problem-solving, but I hope the staff will check if the facilities are in working order after guests check out. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, as well as a Netto supermarket if you want to buy groceries to cook.
